Chapter 1782: Section 1783 Dressed Up

Angel cast a distant glance at the grand theater, which was showing signs of gradually increasing popularity, then turned and flew towards the direction of the manor.

He didn’t plan to watch Sharley’s magic show. After all, the playing cards were refined by him, and he roughly knew what kind of performance Sharley would put on.

Although Sharley might co up with sothing novel, she had acquired the absurd playing cards too recently. Within such a short ti, it’s probably difficult for her to innovate. There’s no rush to see her magic show now; waiting half a year or a year might yield sothing more groundbreaking by then.

Upon returning to the manor, Angel intended to discuss his departure with Sanders in detail.

However, as he stepped into the hall, he unexpectedly saw an elegant lady sitting opposite Greya, sipping tea slowly.

“Sand Leaf Witch,” Angel softly uttered her na.

It was “Golden Umbrella” Sangye, from the Song of the Deep Sea, the disciple of the Sea God Florenza.

“We et again.” Sangye smiled, nodding slightly at Angel.

Sangye was dressed today in her usual white adorned with golden patterns, but it wasn’t as simple as their last eting.

This ti, she wore an elaborate court dress. The ruffled edges were five layers thick, and the lace design with finely woven gold threads highlighted the gown’s splendor.

Moreover, Sangye donned a full set of jewelry, with even a feathered court hat and veil missing none of its components.

Angel noted so familiar fluctuations in Sangye’s sleeves.

—It was the Shadow Box he had refined.

Judging from the fluctuations, it was probably from the batch sold at the Breeze Demonic Material Shop.

Ignoring the fluctuations from the Shadow Box, Angel focused purely on Sangye’s attire. Her dress made Angel feel sowhat at odds, as Sangye’s outfit seed more fitting for attending a grand banquet or a gathering of noble ladies.

Angel’s slight confusion didn’t escape Sangye’s eyes. She brushed her golden wavy hair back over her gleaming collarbone, speaking in a slightly enchanting voice, “Is the Transcendental Wizard very concerned about my attire?”

Angel’s expression didn’t ripple at all: “No, I was just wondering if Greya, were she to hold a banquet in the manor, had asked the manor’s owner, my ntor, for permission first.”

Greya, who had been quietly sipping tea, set her cup down on a ceramic saucer with so exasperation when Angel ntioned her by na: “I never said I was hosting any banquet, don’t falsely accuse out of thin air. Sangye and I are rely preparing to attend an event.”

Event? A flash of confusion crossed Angel’s eyes.

Greya’s lips curled into a sly smile: “Do you want to co with us?”

Angel said nothing, and Greya rely shrugged theatrically, “Too bad, this event is off-limits to male guests. Of course, if you transform into a woman, you can join us.”

“However, not with Illusion Techniques, though Shapeshifting Technique would be suitable. Speaking of which, I rember your mastery of Shapeshifting Technique has reached an intricate level.”

Angel silently glanced at Greya, then looked at Sangye, without responding to Greya’s teasing, he simply said, “Hope you two have fun.”

With that, Angel prepared to bypass them and go upstairs to find Sanders.

He wasn’t curious about the witches’ gathering activity, and he didn’t want to stay there facing the Sand Leaf Witch either.

The main reason was that looking at the Sand Leaf Witch brought a slight guilt to Angel’s heart… After all, the Sand Leaf Witch had shown great sincerity, wanting to trade Heart of the House for Ocean Rhythms, but Angel not only refused her offer, he also used the “Dream Conch of the Moonlit Coast” to pull Heart of the House into the Wilderness of Dreams.

This behavior, although it didn’t cause any loss to the Sand Leaf Witch, left Angel feeling a slight twinge of remorse; this remorse manifested rely as discomfort when facing the Sand Leaf Witch. In terms of compensating with tangible benefits, that’s sothing Angel would never consider doing.

As Angel was about to leave, the Sand Leaf Witch suddenly called out to him.

“If the Transcendental Wizard is willing to exchange Ocean Rhythms, we can sit down and discuss it at any ti.” Sand Leaf Witch looked at Angel, who had co here specifically not only to et Greya but with a bigger goal of acquiring Ocean Rhythms from him.

The Sand Leaf Witch had experienced Ocean Rhythms herself, and she was well aware of its imnse value to the entire ocean lineage.

Angel cast a light glance at the Sand Leaf Witch: “Heart of the House is very nice, but I have no need for Heart of the House, as I previously ntioned to you. As for promoting the Heart Illusion lineage using Heart of the House, I lack such grand ambitions.”

Angel’s straightforward refusal did not dampen the Sand Leaf Witch’s spirits; in fact, her eyes twinkled slightly. Angel’s outright dismissal of Heart of the House ant he hadn’t completely closed the door on trading Ocean Rhythms.

As long as a trade was possible, the Sand Leaf Witch was confident that with the depth of the Song of the Deep Sea, she could definitely offer a price that would satisfy Angel.

Sand Leaf Witch: “If Heart of the House isn’t suitable, we can discuss trading for other things.”

Angel’s heart was saying: No deal.

But his outward reply still didn’t sever all possibilities: “Sorry, I currently don’t have any urgent needs.”

After speaking, Angel adopted an expression indicating he was busy and won’t be lingering.

The Sand Leaf Witch also noticed Angel’s reluctance to engage further at the mont, forcing the issue wouldn’t help. Besides, she wasn’t sure what to offer Angel for an exchange just yet, needing to return and consult with her ntor Florenza first.

Even though they weren’t negotiating now, she still needed to convey her stance: “I’ll quickly draw up a list. I’m confident that the Transcendental Wizard will find it interesting.”

“I can see the determination of the Sand Leaf Witch, but unfortunately, I may not be able to see the list; I’ll be leaving here soon.”

“Is the Transcendental Wizard planning to return to the Barbarian Cave?” the Sand Leaf Witch inquired.

Angel had no intention of hiding his destination, carelessly nodding: “Yes.”

The Sand Leaf Witch drew a slight smile: “Then I believe we won’t have to wait long to et again.”

Angel looked at the Sand Leaf Witch in confusion, wondering if she intended to follow him to the Barbarian Cave?

The Sand Leaf Witch: “Actually, the event Greya and I are attending today concerns so matters about the next visit to the Barbarian Cave.”

Angel: ???

“What event are you attending today?” Angel hadn’t intended to pay attention, but if it involved the Barbarian Cave, he had to know.

On the other side, Greya picked up the warm tea on the table, taking a light sip, savoring the aftertaste, and incidentally clearing up Angel’s confusion.

“Tea Party.”

A look of understanding flashed across Angel’s eyes. If it was a tea party, that would explain so puzzles. For instance, why only witches were allowed, as Greya ntioned, and why the Sand Leaf Witch had fluctuations from the Shadow Box… because, according to news Angel got from Viking, Shadow Boxes were incredibly popular at witches’ tea parties.

However, Angel still couldn’t comprehend why witches’ tea parties would relate to the Barbarian Cave?

Angel voiced his perplexity.

The Sand Leaf Witch: “Because the large tea party to be held in the next session is hosted by Lianna.”
