As the giant object in the sky attracted everyone’s attention with its roaring sound, it moved to the center of Originheart City and hovered. As everyone speculated what the Skycraft would do next, the bottom hatch was opened, revealing a dark entrance.

Imdiately after, a black figure flashed from the door and leaped down.

Seeing this scene, most people showed expressions of shock, and so covered their mouths in surprise.

Even if their bodies were special, jumping from several hundred ters high would turn them into a mass of crushed flesh!

Who would be so bold? Are they seeking death?

While everyone was full of worry, the black figure falling from the sky suddenly emitted a faint glow, like dragging a glowing tail! When this light tail appeared, the falling figure lost its descending montum and instead seed to have added boosters, piercing through the air at an extraordinary speed.

With only the sound of rushing through the air, the black figure, like a shooting star, fell directly onto a watchtower on the outer city wall.

The outer city wall surrounds the entirety of Originheart City and acts as a line of defense separating the city from the outskirts. Without ladders, few had ever ventured onto the wall, let alone the watchtower.

After the black figure landed on the watchtower, soone finally saw his appearance clearly.

"Is that Sir Sabel?!" A man standing on top of the Treehouse Bar suddenly shouted.

Sir Sabel? Those who heard the shout looked puzzled. Sir Sabel is indeed strong, but not to the point of flying, right? The figure with the glowing tail just now was like a teor dancing in the sky; is it really Sir Sabel?

Everyone initially held doubts until more people climbed to the tops of various buildings and looked in the direction of the watchtower. Seeing the appearance of the person standing on the watchtower confird that it was indeed Sir Sabel!

"It really is Sir Sabel, but what’s strange is that Sir Sabel seems to have sothing peculiar on him, like strange tentacles growing..."

"Yes, and those tentacles are glowing! Could the previous light trail actually be these tentacles?"

In the midst of the discussions, soone revealed the truth: "I heard that the Demonic Fiend Laboratory researches how to integrate Demonic Fiends to combat them. Sir Sabel should be one of them."

Monroe did not deliberately conceal the existence of Demonic Fiends, so so people were aware. Fewer people knew about the Demonic Fiend Laboratory, but watching the Skycraft coming and going outside the city every day, so gathered information about the lab.

So, the Demon Hunters’ information is not exactly top-secret, and it’s normal for so to know.

However, knowing is one thing, it was their first real glimpse of the Demon Hunters’ appearance after deploying their powers.

Though they still resembled humans, the tentacles covered with suction cups looked terrifying. As a result, there were inevitably so exclusionary and disgusted comnts on the streets, but they were not mainstream. After all, everyone knew that the Demon Hunters existed by sacrificing themselves to protect everyone. If they expressed exclusion based on appearance at this ti, it would be a disgrace both logically and morally.

"No matter how Sir Sabel has changed, he is still the best city defense captain! Compared to the other, he is much more reliable!"

The so-called other naturally referred to Tullas.

Those who heard this silently nodded, realizing the difference. Although Sir Sabel had been absent from Originheart City for so ti, the comparison quickly reminded everyone of Sir Sabel’s virtues and the previous fears started to fade.

"Sir Sabel is our Guardian, there’s no doubt about that. But I want to know, why did Sir Sabel appear in such a manner, and... why is he standing on the watchtower, what is he looking at?"

As the crowd fell into thought, the sound of breaking through the air resounded again.

Figures wrapped in light flew out from the bottom hatch of the Skycraft and spread out with a roar, flying towards watchtowers in all directions.

The keen-eyed citizens noticed that these people were from the Sin Hunting Group.

However, due to activating the power of the Demonic Fiends, mutations had appeared on their bodies to varying degrees, with so growing bloody, mucus-dripping wings; others developed disgusting heads on their shoulders, and so dragged long Bone Whips... they looked like a dance of the fiends, extrely terrifying.

But because Sir Sabel had been a precedent, the citizens were much calr when seeing these strangely shaped Demon Hunters.

The only lingering question was: why had the entire Sin Hunting Group been deployed? What were they going to do?

Could it be... that Demonic Fiends appeared around Originheart City?

While everyone was anxious, Sir Sabel, standing on the watchtower above the city gate, was looking into the distance.

What he saw was a desolate wasteland.

Sir Sabel, in fact, was seeing the scenery outside the city for the first ti in such a real way, even though he often went to the Demonic Fiend Laboratory outside the city, he was seated inside a closed Skycraft, directly reaching the final airfield, and never saw what it was like outside the city.

Now, having seen the outside world, Sir Sabel was still sowhat surprised.

— Originheart City turned out to be settled on the wilderness.

Sharing the sa sentint were other mbers of the Sin Hunting Group, but like Sir Sabel, though surprised, they did not show it, as they had more important tasks at hand.

To protect Originheart City!

Just a day ago, they were summoned by Young Master Tyson and City Lord Monroe, and in that eting, they learned a shocking truth that they were about to make contact with a group of intelligent alien species!

The mbers of the Sin Hunting Group, in reality, are all ordinary humans. They hadn’t even encountered humanoid races, let alone a group of aliens.

Moreover, these aliens were yet to be determined as good or bad, with unknown temperant. This deepened their anxiety.

But they chose to beco mbers of the Sin Hunting Group to protect the citizens of Originheart City. Now, with Young Master Tyson unsure of the aliens, they must stand on the front line as the citizens’ first backing.

Thus, they were dispatched to the watchtowers.

If the aliens were friendly, they would be the greeters; if the aliens harbored ill intent, they would beco the sharpest spear, valiant warriors guarding Originheart City!

With this mission, all the Demon Hunters standing on the watchtowers displayed the deanor of pillars of strength. Bearing the pressure, standing silently, gazing into the distance...

...

anwhile, after sending off the Sin Hunting Group, the Skycraft finally restarted and arrived at the top of the Sky Tower.

The door opened, and a ladder descended.

Frode and Monroe ca down.

When they saw Angel, they paused for a mont before quickly approaching without hesitation. Frode stood by Angel’s side, while Monroe took a step back on her own.

Angel: "Did you send the Sin Hunting Group over?"

Frode nodded, hesitated slightly, and said: "Sir, was I sowhat inappropriate in doing this?"

Angel: "Coming with the green mist were just a few little guys, they don’t understand what’s threatening or not. While not proportional, it doesn’t hurt to let the Sin Hunting Group co over."

"Broadening their knowledge is fine, and who knows, one day we might need the Sin Hunting Group to delve into the aliens’ core."
