Chapter 2030: Chapter 2031: Magma Lake and Fla Butterfly
“Ah! I’ve been touched by Lord Shava! I felt it, such a noble aura!”
Angel initially wanted to listen to what the giant mushroom tree before him was saying, but as soon as he extended his spiritual power, he heard a piercing scream.
Angel quickly retracted his spiritual power and slowly withdrew his hand as well.
Since he couldn’t get answers from this mushroom, which looked calm outwardly but was fervent inside, Angel decided to find out on his own.
Based on the mushroom’s previous conversations displayed in the “forum,” the “dirty fellow” it despised yet wished to approach should be nearby.
Angel first checked around the shaded side of the mushroom; it was the sa as before, filled densely with huge mushrooms. Occasionally, there were so small mushrooms on the ground, but not too many.
Seeing nothing in that direction, Angel decided to circle around the broad mushroom stem to see what lay ahead of it.
The incessant fla waves surging forward ca from the front. If there were any clues, they should be in this direction.
With great expectations, Angel approached the front of the mushroom stem. He lifted his head and took a look forward, and was taken aback.
In front was still row upon row of tall mushroom forests, but Angel could now see through the mushroom forest to so distant scenes… intense red light, scorching heat, and a swirling fiery wind with a pungent sll.
Though he couldn’t see the full view, Angel could confirm it was a lake ford of magma.
Angel stepped forward gradually, and after traversing through the entire red mushroom forest, he finally saw the full view of the magma lake.
The blinding brilliance of the flas, the rolling fire waves, and the incessant bubbling fla bubbles all indicated the heat of the magma lake.
Angel had seen magma in volcanoes before, so a re magma lake wouldn’t astonish him too much. However, this magma lake was quite different.
The surface of the magma, emitting an orange-red glow, was not only spewing white smoke and bubbles but also bizarre patterns composed of flas.
For instance, about ten ters away from Angel on the lake surface, with a thunderous roar, a fla python shot straight into the sky from the lake surface. This fla python was what Angel referred to as a strange pattern.
They were called patterns because the fla creatures appeared ford when ejected, but as they fell from high altitudes, they turned into ordinary sparks, unable to maintain their shape, thus only deed as patterns.
Besides the fla python, there were fla cats, fla dolphins, fla humans… fla roses, and so on. But their fate was all the sa, vividly lifelike at birth, but after a few seconds, they transford into scattered sparks returning to the magma lake.
However, there were exceptions.
After Angel observed over a dozen different fla patterns, a new pattern erupted from the flas, yet it did not transform into scattered sparks.
It was a fla unicorn rabbit, constructed of orange-red flas, about palm-sized. Like other fla patterns, it shot into the sky when it erged from the magma lake. By logic, it would disintegrate the next second, and indeed, Angel even saw sparks starting to pour out of the fla unicorn rabbit’s body… But just then, a strange fiery wind blew from afar, containing unknown energies that did not scatter the fla unicorn rabbit but helped it coalesce into a solid form instead.
The fla unicorn rabbit landed on the magma lake, not sinking, curiously surveying its surroundings from the lake surface.
It turned its head and saw Angel.
Perhaps it was Angel’s surprised expression, or his gaze wanting to study it that scared it, the fla unicorn rabbit suddenly stood its ears upright, swiftly turning around, and sprinting toward another direction.
Angel had thought of opening a door to capture this peculiar fla unicorn rabbit for examination. Yet, before he could act, the mont the fla unicorn rabbit landed, a giant mushroom standing on the shore of the magma lake opened its mouth and swallowed the fla unicorn rabbit whole.
Angel had previously learned from the “Mushroom Forum” that these mushrooms all had oral instrunts; now he finally knew where they were located.
Despite the long distance, Angel clearly saw a vertical slit open at the center of the mushroom’s stem, where sharp teeth chewed the fla unicorn rabbit clean.
At the mont when the mushroom opened its oral instrunt, Angel senses from the usually “calm” mushroom a deep yet frantic energy fluctuation.
It hadn’t reached the Official Wizard Level, but it definitely achieved the peak apprentice standard.
It’s apparent these mushrooms were no benign entities.
If all the mushrooms here had reached the peak apprentice standard, it would be astonishing; if there were among them wizard-level mushrooms… this place could indeed be terd a land of terror.
When the mushroom swallowed the fla unicorn rabbit, Angel logged onto the “Mushroom Forum.”
Ignoring the group of mushrooms blowing rainbow farts around him, Angel captured so information related to the fla unicorn rabbit from the mass of emotions.
“Running toward that direction, it’s got away cheaply!”
“Yes, a bone chew mushroom from the south ran over and snatched our food. What rotten luck!”
“Look at that awful eating manner, not even cleaning the bone remnants on its tongue before coming to snatch food with us. I really want to pluck all the mycelium off of it!”
“I also want to eat… but with the noble Lord Shava right beside , would it seem disrespectful if I eat? Oh well, I should restrain myself, though I really want to eat…”
Similar “hungry” statents filled the air above the mushroom forest.
While Angel was digesting these ssages, another creature erged from the fla pattern into an entity at the magma lake.
It was a fla butterfly about the size of an infant’s head, erging and fluttering its flowing fiery wings, flying outside the magma lake.
Angel could sense that the mushrooms in the direction the fla butterfly was heading have already started sharpening their knives in anticipation.
However, before these mushrooms could hunt the fla butterfly, Angel opened a door, predicting the path of the fla butterfly, and appeared beside it.
A slightly transparent light-blue Hand of Magic effortlessly seized the fla butterfly in its palm.
Since the Hand of Magic was made of energy, when it clasped its palm, it ford a cage-like effect. Even if the fla butterfly turned into pure fire elents, it couldn’t escape the shackles of the Hand of Magic.
Seeing Angel capture the fla butterfly, the mushrooms around, who were eager to try, all beca dispirited.
If caught by other mushrooms, perhaps they would still think about seizing it, but caught by Lord Shava, they didn’t dare harbor any thoughts of stealing the food from the tiger’s mouth.
Angel studied the fla butterfly for a bit and discovered that this fla butterfly already possessed a faint “Spirit.”
This ans, according to the broad definition within the Wizards’ Realm, this was already a fire-elental creature!
Of course, in the eyes of most wizards, the “Spirit” of this fla butterfly, just born, was neither complete nor powerful, akin to a baby elental creature at most, or rely an embryo.
Elental creatures, for wizards, besides serving as consumables, could be nurtured to coexist with elental creatures, thus becoming a dium for casting elental side spells, enhancing affinity to elents, and making cross-elent learning of elental side spells easier.
However, to nurture such an embryonic elental creature to coexist with wizards required a lot of effort and money.
If Angel had to choose to nurture an elental creature, he definitely wouldn’t choose such a fla butterfly.
