Forest of mories?

Angel showed a look of confusion. He recognized every character, but when combined, he couldn’t understand them.

Laplace: "Previously, when you ntioned borrowing sothing from , you ntioned a condition that you hoped this item could have so relation to the Mirror World Will."

Angel nodded, he indeed proposed four conditions at that ti, among which was this condition. Ultimately, what Laplace lent was now—Shed Skin.

"Actually, when you proposed that condition, the first thing that ca to my mind was the Forest of mories. Because it’s a gift given to by the Mirror World Will."

In other words, the Forest of mories is a manifestation of the Mirror World Will.

"The reason I didn’t choose the Forest of mories in the end is that it doesn’t have any offensive capabilities, which doesn’t satisfy the fourth condition you proposed."

From Laplace’s words, Angel roughly understood her aning, the "Forest of mories" should be a physical object; initially, she chose between Shed Skin and Forest of mories. But in the end, considering the four conditions Angel provided, she abandoned the Forest of mories in favor of Shed Skin.

Since she abandoned the Forest of mories in the past, why bring it up again now? Moreover, didn’t Laplace say the Forest of mories doesn’t have offensive capabilities? Why is she now going to use it to deal with the Spider Magic Monster?

And most importantly, the biggest question in Angel’s mind: What exactly is the Forest of mories? Why did Laplace say it’s a gift from the Mirror World?

"The Forest of mories is an evolution of the world’s rules. Using the abilities of your Wizards’ Realm for comparison... you could think of it as a mory Garden." Laplace emphasized when she ntioned ’mory Garden.’

Angel paused for a second, speaking in a surprised and doubtful tone: "You an... a Witchcraft Garden?"

A Witchcraft Garden is a magical creation that lies between spell technique and alchemy, capable of delineating a space, severing it from the great world, and embedding it into so form of vessel. And at the mont a Witchcraft Garden is ford, the World Will imbues it with a rudintary law, allowing it to leap from an ordinary spatial artifact to a strategic level tool for any witcher organization.

The only pity is that the imbued law is random, and the strength of this law is determined by the number of constant fragnts used in constructing the Witchcraft Garden. Currently, constant fragnts, a special material, only have a small output during plane fusion.

This is why every ti a plane fusion occurs, major witcher organizations and wizard families desperately rush over, hoping to take the opportunity to obtain so constant fragnts.

Laplace nodded: "Yes, essentially it’s the sa as a Witchcraft Garden in the Wizards’ Realm, also requiring constant fragnts as consumables. However, the Forest of mories is imbued with the laws of the Mirror World, slightly different from the laws of the Wizards’ Realm."

Angel: "So, you possess the Forest of mories?"

Laplace frowned, wasn’t this obvious? Since she ntioned the Forest of mories, she must have it to talk about it, otherwise, why bring it up?

Laplace: "During my initial venture into the Sea of Void Mirror, I happened to acquire a bottle of constant fragnts, thus structuring the Forest of mories."

Angel appeared stunned: "Accidentally obtaining constant fragnts? A bottle?!"

This statent sounded like walking down the street and casually finding hundreds of thousands of Magic Crystals. Ah, no... constant fragnts in the Wizards’ Realm are counted by "drops." If it’s really a "bottle" of constant fragnts, several million, even tens of millions of Magic Crystals would be the base price, and would still be rare and not sold in the market!

Laplace: "Indeed it was acquired accidentally, but it took several days."

Angel: "Several days?!"

Imdiately after he spoke, Angel felt he had sowhat lost composure. However, this was truly sothing he couldn’t remain calm about.

She ntioned "several days," not "several dozen days," "several months," "several years," "several days" aning, less than ten days!

To obtain a bottle of constant fragnts in less than ten days, and from Laplace’s tone, the process was likely not very dangerous. Given this, how could Angel remain composed?

Forget several days, he’d be willing to toil for a year and receive just one drop of constant fragnts.

Sure enough, Laplace, worthy of being the Child of Destiny, obtained such precious constant fragnts so easily... even a Wise Sovereign would likely have the sa reaction.

As Angel mulled over this, he unintentionally murmured. Hearing him, Laplace casually added, "The Sage doesn’t know about this."

"Ah? Why not?"

"No particular reason," Laplace said flatly: "Like you creating this awful na, Crystal Origin of Dreams... does the Sage know?"

Angel scratched his temple: "Fair point."

No matter how close the friendship, everyone has their own secrets, so Laplace might have her reasons for not telling the Wise Sovereign.

However, what about the na Crystal Origin of Dreams is awful? Since it was part of the Wilderness of Dreams’ expansion, it had to follow a the.

Angel mused internally, thinking Laplace was unaware of the Wilderness of Dreams’ existence, so she would say the na Crystal Origin of Dreams sounds bad. He... understood. Once she learns about the Wilderness of Dreams, she’s sure to support his naming it Crystal Origin of Dreams.

With this in mind, Angel didn’t remark on the na but carefully asked: "May I ask, how many drops of constant fragnts are in this bottle? I an no harm, just wondering if there’s any left over, I could..."

"No leftovers, I used them all." Laplace: "As for how many drops? I didn’t keep count, possibly around a hundred drops?"

A hundred drops?! Although Angel had anticipated this, he was still startled by Laplace’s "luck."

Bear in mind, just ten drops are enough to make a decent mini garden.

A total of a hundred drops, the Witchcraft Garden made from them would at least be dium-large, perhaps even directly a large Witchcraft Garden.

This is terrifying, many witcher organizations don’t even have a dium witchcraft garden, even the Sky chanical City, reputedly the wealthiest, only has one barely reaching large standards, with the others being small or dium-small witchcraft gardens.

And the Sky chanical City is one of the financial hubs in the Wizards’ Realm, a large organization that has been operating for countless years to have such a foundation.

Laplace... rely a mirror creature, independently possessing a suspected large Witchcraft Garden, hearsay would undoubtedly shock anyone in the Wizards’ Realm.

Angel swallowed hard, moistening his sowhat dry throat before continuing, "Then, what functions does your Forest of mories have?"

After asking, Angel felt he was being sowhat abrupt and promptly added, "I don’t an to pry into secrets, just wish to understand how the Forest of mories can tackle those Spider Magic Monsters in the sky."

Laplace: "The Forest of mories is filled with items condensed from various mories, including so of my failed Temporal Bodies."

Failed Temporal Bodies? Angel felt he’d stumbled upon an incredible term.

"Any mory-condensed item, whether an illusion, a thought entity, or a Temporal Body, can be incorporated into the Forest of mories, becoming a ’tree’ rooted in mory soil."

"And this Spider Magic Monster’s avatar is a Temporal Body of mory."

"As long as you can send the Forest of mories in here, I can absorb all of these Spider Magic Monsters’ Temporal Bodies." Pausing, Laplace added, "Not just the Temporal Bodies, the Spider Magic Monster’s main body also harbors plenty of mories. I suspect this might be a Temporal Body too, just composed of more mories, thus its abilities are bizarre and outstanding."

Angel listened, feeling increasingly bewildered: "Its main body is a Temporal Body too? Then, where’s its True Body?"

Laplace: "I don’t know. This is just my guess. Whether it’s true or not still needs further assessnt. Even if the main body isn’t a Temporal Body, the mory Garden can quickly collect all scattered mories and suppress the spider creature."

At this point, Laplace suddenly asked, "You ntioned before that when you use the Dream Conch to pull items into the Crystal Origin of Dreams, it doesn’t affect the corresponding items in reality, right?"

Angel nodded, "That’s correct."

Laplace: "Then dealing with the spider creature is simpler. Put all the Temporal Bodies inside, including suppressing this spider creature as well, and the problem should be resolved."

Angel: "Can the Forest of mories suppress all the spider creatures, including this main body?"

Laplace nodded, "Yes, because its main body’s abilities also co from mories."

After hearing Laplace’s words, Angel softly murmured, "What a coincidence..."

Laplace: "What do you an?"

Angel shook his head without explaining, only saying a disjointed sentence: "...With darkness, there’s a lamp; with rain, there’s an umbrella; with a leaking roof, there’s a board."

Laplace quietly looked at Angel, "I’ll rember this line. Next ti, Luigi will use it as material for a poem."

Angel: "..."

Laplace: "By the way, can the Forest of mories be sent in here?"

Angel nodded, "It can."

In the Wilderness of Dreams, there’s already a Witchcraft Garden, although it’s just Rhein’s miniature garden, it shows that the Dream Conch can draw in artifacts like Witchcraft Gardens into dreams.

Since the Forest of mories is also considered a Witchcraft Garden, it should be within the Dream Conch’s range.

"If you agree to send the Forest of mories in, once you leave, directly touch the bottle containing the shed scales, while inwardly calling out to Glaipnir, she will naturally hear and respond to you."

Angel was silent for a mont before saying, "I understand."

After speaking, Angel looked up at the six spider creatures constantly weaving nets in the sky, letting out a slight sigh in his heart.

To him, spiders weaving nets is not just a prelude to hunting, but also a proof of staking territory and establishing dominance...

And this seems to coincide with the current situation.

Angel shook his head, turned around, and disappeared into the Crystal Origin of Dreams.

...

Back in the reflective space, Angel fell into a mont of contemplation.

Sorting out the events briefly, everything turns out to be very coincidental.

The Dream Realm sent a magic monster army, clearly taking it easy. Though nurous, they’re all within Laplace’s solvable range.

At that ti, Angel actually had a thought in his mind, perhaps his speculation was correct, the Dream Realm and Mirror World are in a gamble of wills.

The Mirror World doesn’t want the Dream Realm’s tendrils to reach its territory, so it drove the Dream Realm out; while the Dream Realm kept a hand back, letting the Sweet Dream be born in front of Laplace, always maintaining a tenuous connection between Dream Realm and Mirror World.

However, this tenuous connection alone isn’t enough.

The will of the Dream Realm is waiting, waiting for variables to arrive.

And there appeared Angel. His Crystal Origin of Dreams happens to be in the gap between Dream Realm and Mirror World, possessing so traits from both sides, equivalent to saying, once this forms, it will beco the middle ground between Dream Realm and Mirror World.

In other places, the will of the Dream Realm might not want such a gap world to exist, but in Mirror World, it welcos such a buffer zone to persistently entangle the Mirror World, preventing a complete disconnection.

Thus, usually, the will of the Dream Realm might send massive magic monsters as Eliminators, but this ti, it symbolically sent so shrimp soldiers and crab generals.

In other words, the Dream Realm indirectly agreed to the existence of the Crystal Origin of Dreams.

The above was Angel’s previous speculation, and precisely because of such speculation, he dared to boldly create the Crystal Origin of Dreams.

The developnt progressed much like he imagined, but what Angel did not anticipate was, since the Dream Realm is gambling with the Mirror World, the Dream Realm acting as a chess player, why wouldn’t the Mirror World be another chess player?

The Dream Realm tentatively dropped a piece, which Angel took.

While at this ti, the Mirror World becos unwilling, thus it also placed a piece, this piece is no longer "illusory" but "real".

Which is now the Eliminator—the spider creature.

The spider creature is said to be an Eliminator, yet its strength isn’t enough to imdiately destroy the Crystal Origin of Dreams; to say it’s not an Eliminator, its ability is extrely bizarre, letting it be, will ultimately lead to the fragntation of the Crystal Origin of Dreams.

Its strength happens to be stuck at a very subtle point.

And Laplace’s shed scales not only can’t solve it, but also makes it proliferate.

Angel looking at this felt desperate.

But just then, Laplace discovered their weakness; the Forest of mories can restrain the spider creature.

And the Forest of mories belongs to Laplace, but it also belongs to the will of Mirror World.

Everyone thought they were beaten and should retreat, only for a turn of events to appear; the turn of events just happens to be usable by Laplace and also belongs to the will of Mirror World.

Is this still called coincidence?

Angel believes this is the Mirror World’s chess move.

And in such a chess move, what is sought: the Forest of mories enters the Crystal Origin of Dreams.

But what does the Mirror World gain from doing so?

Angel can only think of one thing, just like those net-weaving spiders, perhaps what it wants is...

To stake territory and build a nest.
