Bella Acker clutched her backpack tightly, standing silently in place for a long ti.
Sadness and embarrassnt were not enough to describe her current mood. She felt more like a blank slate; her mind was blank, and even her heart was empty, filled with a chilling wind.
Damian Sinclair continued, "Ms. Acker, do you think that no matter who asks for help, I would assist them? Or do you think you’re special?"
"I... I don’t." Bella Acker never dared to hope that she was anything special to him. To him, she used to be nothing more than a contract-bought companion, and now she didn’t even have that connection. How could she dare to hope for anything special?
"You don’t?" Damian Sinclair seed to mock her with a chuckle, "If not, on what basis does Ms. Acker think I should help you?"
Indeed, there was no basis! He didn’t really have to et her. To even see her, perhaps he just wanted to mock her a bit?
Bella Acker felt sad, taking a deep breath to suppress the rising sorrow, she said softly, "Mr. Sinclair, I... I’m sorry for bothering you." She still wasn’t prepared. Initially, she thought as long as she could help Ms. Flynn’s studio through the crisis, she could endure Damian Sinclair’s unpleasant words and cold deanor.
But when actually facing him, she realized every harsh word he said pierced her deeply.
Bella Acker turned to leave, and just as her hand touched the door handle, a tall figure lood over her from behind.
"Bang!" Damian Sinclair pressed against the door, his long limbs caging Bella Acker between his chest and the door.
Bella’s body instantly went stiff, frozen on the spot, not daring to move.
Damian Sinclair said, "Is this how Ms. Acker shows sincerity when asking for a favor?"
"Wha... what sincerity?" Surrounded by his scent, Bella Acker was encased in layers, her brain short-circuited, not quite realizing what he was talking about.
"When asking for a favor, naturally, you must offer sothing in return. Does Ms. Acker not understand even this basic principle?" Damian Sinclair spoke as he hooked his other arm around her waist, pulling her into his embrace.
Suddenly pressed against him, Bella Acker felt sothing against her waist. Her face flushed bright red, "This... this is at the office, you... you... you can’t..."
"Why not?" Damian Sinclair said, maliciously rubbing against her, "Does Ms. Acker not need my help anymore?"
"No... It’s just..." Bella was embarrassed, anxious, and upset, "This is... this is at your company, it... it’s not good for your image."
He was the CEO, and everyone outside knew he was eting her in the tea room. If... if they did sothing like that here, how would the people outside view him as their boss?
"You’re worried about ?" Damian Sinclair’s mood seed to improve slightly, and he exerted a bit of force, turning her around to face him.
Bella Acker didn’t dare look into his eyes, glancing at him once before quickly looking away.
Damian Sinclair raised an eyebrow, pinching her delicate chin to force her to look at him, "Are you worried about ?"
"You..." She had just started to speak when Damian Sinclair kissed her.
His kiss wasn’t gentle, filled with intense desire, and he dominantly pried open Bella’s lips, deeply exploring and teasing.
