"Huh?" Bella Acker blinked a couple of tis, feeling a bit puzzled, "But I’m already really full."
The two waitstaff nearby couldn’t hold back and let out a chuckle, but their faces quickly changed as they hurriedly apologized, "Sorry."
If the custor had a bad temper, they surely would have gotten angry over such laughter.
"It’s okay, it’s okay!" Bella Acker quickly waved her hand; her words just slipped out naturally, and thinking about it now, she felt a little silly.
With these thoughts, she quietly glanced at Damian Sinclair’s face.
Would soone as particular as Damian think it’s embarrassing to stand with her?
"Silly," Damian Sinclair reached out and ruffled her hair, a hint of helplessness on his face, though there was a slight smile in his eyes.
Knowing he wasn’t angry, Bella Acker breathed a sigh of relief. At the sa ti, she covered her head with her hand, muttering softly with a pout, "Always ruffling my hair, I’m not a puppy."
"You are Acker the Puppy," Damian whispered in her ear.
Bella Acker looked up and glared at him.
Damian Sinclair raised an eyebrow slightly, "I’ll go pay the bill." With that, he strode towards the counter.
Bella Acker pouted, "You’re the puppy, Puppy Sinclair." She said this while patting her ssed-up bangs back into place.
A nearby young waitress smiled and said, "Your boyfriend is so handso. Just now, the way he looked at you almost made us drown from affection. So much love."
"Re... really?" Bella Acker blushed with embarrassnt. In her heart, she wondered, did Damian really look at her with that much affection? It didn’t seem like it. He’s always complaining she’s clumsy and silly.
"Of course there is." The young waitress’s eyes sparkled with admiration. In fact, aside from the loving gaze, what they envied the most was that throughout the entire ti, Damian Sinclair’s focus never left Bella Acker.
To him, it seed that apart from this little woman beside him, everything else was just like air.
This aura of indifference to the world, yet doting on one person, was hard not to find enchanting.
Bella Acker turned her head to look at Damian Sinclair swiping his card at the counter.
He stood tall and strong, wearing a well-fitting coat, looking incredibly handso even just standing casually at the ordinary counter. Everything around seed to set him off.
He’s truly outstanding.
A privileged background, a brilliant mind, a handso appearance... it seed all praiseworthy qualities were gathered in him alone.
How could such an excellent man possibly like soone as ordinary as her?
Bella Acker’s smile gradually faded, her sweet feelings replaced by a pang of bitterness.
The two waitresses who had been chatting glanced at each other, puzzled by Bella Acker’s sudden change of mood into lancholy.
They didn’t dare to gossip any further and discreetly returned to their positions.
After Damian Sinclair finished paying, he ca over carrying the lunchbox, "What’s wrong?"
"No... nothing, let’s go." Bella Acker tugged at the corner of her mouth, stepping out of the restaurant first.
Damian Sinclair frowned; her sadness was almost written all over her face, how could he not notice? But everything was fine just a mont ago, why did she suddenly beco unhappy?
Damian Sinclair took two steps forward, holding her small hand and tucking it warmly into his coat pocket, asking, "Who bullied you?"
"You!" Bella Acker glared at him, "It’s you bullying !"
