The makeup artist couldn’t help but laugh, "Hahaha, no, no. Everyone’s waiting for you, hurry and go out."
"Really?" Bella didn’t believe it.
"Really, really, hurry and get to work." The makeup artist laughed and gently pushed her out of the room.
Bella stopped questioning and walked out with a big smile.
"Bella seems to be in a good mood today, did sothing pleasant happen?" Vivian asked with a smile.
Bella’s smile faded a little when she saw her, "We were just joking around. Isn’t it your afternoon off, Vivi? What brings you here?"
"There wasn’t much to do at the hotel, so I thought I’d drop by." Vivian smiled, "Bella, I didn’t realize you and Archer were that close. No wonder he stood up for you that day. I was drawn to your charming personality and wanted to be closer, got a bit carried away. Bella, don’t take it to heart."
"Vivi, I’m just a newbie. I’m actually thrilled that you want to befriend ." Bella smiled a bit sheepishly, "I’m not very good with people, so if I make any mistakes, Vivi, you have to guide ."
"Of course, we’re good friends, after all." Vivian took out a beautifully wrapped small box from behind her back, "Bella, this is a gift for you, hope you like it."
"Rea...really?" Bella was thrilled as she took the box, "Vivi, I’ve never received such a pretty gift, I love it so much."
"Never received a pretty gift? Bella, you must be joking." Vivian said nonchalantly, "Never mind others, but has Archer never given you one? If that’s really the case, I’ll definitely have a word with him once he’s on set. Such a big man, not knowing how to care for his girlfriend."
"It’s not like that..."
Just as Bella was about to respond, Director Ford called out with a gaphone, "Bella Acker, co on over, ti to work, everyone’s waiting for you!"
"Coming! I’m coming!" Bella accepted the gift, "Vivi, I’ll head over then."
"Go on, work is important." Vivian continued smiling.
Bella didn’t say anything more and walked over with the gift box.
Sharon Cheney looked at her, her eyes asking, What did Vivian want with you? Was she giving you a hard ti?
Bella walked up with a smile, speaking softly, "This ti she didn’t give a hard ti, she even gave a gift."
Sharon frowned, "Could it be she knows about your relationship with President Sinclair?"
"Probably not." Bella slightly reined in her smile, "She kept hinting and pairing up with Senior Quinn. This gift is likely sothing she bought on purpose after seeing the online rumors."
"What is she up to?"
"Not sure yet." Bella shook her head, "But don’t worry, Ms. Cheney, I’ll handle whatever cos my way—hopefully catch her causing trouble and teach her a lesson. Can’t let Ms. Flynn’s grievances go unanswered."
"Seeing you stand up like this makes Ms. Flynn happy." Sharon finally smiled, "Just know that if you don’t want to rely on others, falling out with Vivian could greatly harm your future career in the entertainnt industry."
Bella grinned, leaning close to Sharon’s ear and whispered, "Ms. Cheney, don’t worry, I know my limits, I won’t get the short end of the stick."
