Bella gave her instructions and continued back to the film set.
At this ti, the sky was almost dark, and even with spotlights, it wasn’t quite suitable to shoot dayti scenes anymore.
The crew had to hurry, striving to finish this last shot while there was still a bit of daylight.
Bella took a deep breath and stood at the spot that the crew had already marked.
Director Ford glanced at the monitor, "Alright, three, two, one, action!"
Bella stepped forward with a hint of a smile on her lips.
"CUT! This take won’t do!" Director Ford stood with a loudspeaker in hand, "Hera is captivated by the Emperor’s charisma and instantly falls for him. As a young girl in love, shouldn’t she have so other emotions besides just happiness?"
Upon hearing this, Bella looked over, and Director Ford continued, "For example, when you see soone you like, what else do you think about besides being happy?"
Suddenly, an image of Damian kissing her flashed in Bella’s mind, and her cheeks turned red with embarrassnt. She stamred, "I...I wasn’t thinking of anything."
Director Ford noticed her obviously guilty expression, his mouth twitched slightly as he replied, "Wouldn’t you be nervous? And you’ve only t the person once, wouldn’t you wonder who they really are? When you’re lost in thought, shouldn’t your eyes be a bit dazed?"
Even though Director Ford was earnestly discussing the scene with her, all Bella could think of were inappropriate images!
Bella was so embarrassed she wanted to find a hole to crawl into, took a deep breath, and barely steadied her emotions, "Got it, Director Ford."
"Alright, crew ready, scene seventy-eight, shot one, take two, go!"
Bella held a peach branch, a smile on her lips as she slowly walked forward, this ti slightly lowering her head. Though her steps were moving forward, her gaze wasn’t fixed on the cobblestone path; she seed lost in thought.
She was already stepping up to the corridor’s stairs, almost about to hit the threshold outside the door, yet still hadn’t noticed.
"CUT! Alright, this take is good!" Director Ford nodded with satisfaction, turning to Sharon Cheney, who was watching the monitor with him, and said, "Bella’s acting is more instinctive than I imagined, and her comprehension is quite good. In due ti, she could definitely beco a skilled actress. But what’s on her mind all the ti? Why did she suddenly get shy when I was just talking about the scene?"
Sharon chuckled, "As long as she can act well, what do you care what she’s thinking about?"
"I’m only asking because I know you like her," Director Ford laughed, "Are you hungry? I’ll have an assistant get you the eight-treasure white fungus soup you like."
Sharon was montarily surprised, then shook her head, smiling as she stood up, "No need, I’ll eat with Bella. We have scenes together this evening, and we can go over our lines."
"Sharon..." Director Ford looked at her with a bit of helplessness, "It’s just a bowl of fungus soup, do you have to avoid it like it’s the plague?"
"No, I really need to go over lines with Bella," Sharon smiled, her deanor gentle but her refusal was very firm, "You keep busy, I’m off." With that, she stepped away from the monitor tent.
Director Ford watched her departing figure, feeling a bit disheartened, and turned back to his assistant, "Tell everyone that we’re working overti tonight to shoot two more scenes. No one’s going ho until we’re finished!"
The assistant was speechless, realizing Director Ford intended to make everyone else suffer if he couldn’t enjoy himself.
