At the press conference later, let’s see if you can still manage a smile.
Vivian Norris thought grimly and asked in a low voice, "Have the journalists I asked you to contact been arranged?"
"Don’t worry, Vivi. Everything has been organized and there will definitely be no mistakes," the assistant imdiately stepped forward and responded softly.
"Good, let’s see how long she can remain happy," Vivian Norris ground her teeth as she uttered this, then raised a suitably restrained smile as she walked into the hotel.
The hotel’s logo for "Brocade River and Mountain" could be seen everywhere as Bella Acker and the others followed the signs to the press conference hall.
"Actors, please sit in the first row. Your nas are marked on the chairs, don’t sit in the wrong place," the staff guided them in as they arranged the seating.
Bella Acker’s seat was sowhat towards the end, leaving four chairs between her and the seats for the leading actors and director.
Sharon Cheney’s seat was on the opposite side from her.
Once the actors were seated and other matters were arranged, another large door of the conference hall finally opened, and the journalists attending the "Brocade River and Mountain" crew press conference filed in.
The host first ward up the scene on stage. After a round of witty and humorous banter, he finally said, "Now, let’s welco Director Ford and the leading actors of ’Brocade River and Mountain’ to the stage!"
The journalists below the stage cooperatively applauded, all turning their gaze towards Director Ford and the actors gradually walking up to the stage.
The shutters of the caras clicked nonstop as the photographers zood in, moving the lens across the faces of the actors on stage, and finally stopping on Archer Quinn and Vivian Norris, the male and female leads.
Director Ford took the microphone handed to him by the staff and said, "Thank you, all journalists, for taking ti out of your busy schedules to co to our ’Brocade River and Mountain’ costu press conference. Thank you."
"Hahaha, Director Ford, we’ve been wanting to visit the set for a while but just can’t get in," a familiar journalist joked from below.
"It’s right that you can’t get in," Director Ford also joked while laughing, "I’ve already made it clear we’re filming secretly. If you all visited the set, what secrets would there be? Wouldn’t that be a slap in my face?"
"Hahaha!" Many of the journalists below had dealt with Director Ford multiple tis, and everyone knowingly teased each other and laughed good-naturedly.
"Hahaha, Director Ford, we don’t know if there’s a slap in the face, but right now we don’t want to just see your face. Can Joan and Vivi introduce their roles?"
The question had been discussed in advance, aid at introducing the TV drama "Brocade River and Mountain" to the audience watching the press conference. Director Ford, hearing this, smoothly continued, "You people only know how to look at faces, such shallow folks. Fine, fine, let’s start with Joan then."
Another burst of laughter rose among the journalists, with soone standing up and asking, "Joan, what’s the na of the character you play in ’Brocade River and Mountain’? How does this character’s personality differ from the roles you’ve played before?"
This was a very ordinary question, and Archer Quinn could answer it perfectly with his eyes closed.
After the journalist finished speaking, Archer Quinn picked up the microphone at hand and smiled, "In the drama, I play..."
He spoke in a gentle and leisurely tone, making it very pleasant to listen to.
The first round of the press conference was simply the actors on stage introducing their roles and character traits, which was sowhat tedious, and the journalists patiently waited for the second round of free questioning.
