Bella Acker sat stiffly in the passenger seat, slowly turning her neck chanically to look at Damian.

Did the car... just jolt?

Finally understanding what Damian ant earlier, Bella Acker’s face heated up suddenly, turning a bright shade of red.

Oh my god! She could die from embarrassnt!

She... she wouldn’t do sothing so embarrassing in the car! Dam... Damian...

Bella felt like she would spontaneously combust, her small, reddened face glaring at the driver for a good while, before finally squeezing out a sentence, "Dam... Damian, you’re terrible!"

"Acker the Puppy, I was just explaining soone else’s thoughts to you, I didn’t say anything else."

Bella accused him with her big, round eyes, "You’re just as bad as saying it outright, making think..."

"Think about what?"

Think about what it ans for the car to jolt!

"Think..." Bella blushed, unable to say anything.

He’s a bad guy! He must be doing it on purpose!

Bella was almost dying of anger and embarrassnt.

Damian wasn’t done teasing her yet, "Baby, you’re really..."

"Ahhhh! Shut up! Don’t say another word!" Bella hurriedly lunged over to cover his mouth.

Diving at him like that while Damian was driving, the steering wheel got hit, causing the car to instantly veer off its previous path onto the turning lane.

Bella was shocked, quickly pulling back, "Sor... sorry..."

Luckily, it was still early, there weren’t many cars on the road, and there were no vehicles in the turning lane next to them, otherwise their sudden swerve would surely have caused an accident.

Just thinking about it made Bella a bit scared.

Damian’s expression didn’t change, "It’s alright now."

Bella let out a sigh of relief, only then noticing her legs were a bit weak, turning to glare at him, "Even the traffic officer uncle said you shouldn’t chat with the driver, don’t tease while driving in the future!"

Damian was a bit helpless; he really ant to tease her but didn’t expect her to lunge at him while he was driving. But seeing her scared like that, Damian felt sorry, giving her hand a pat, "Don’t worry, even if sothing happens, I’ll protect you first."

Bella’s hand ward up a bit, and upon hearing this, she looked at him and after a while, she smiled first, "Damian, don’t worry! If anything happens, I’ll protect you too."

Damian raised an eyebrow, it was the first ti he’d heard soone say they’d protect him, especially coming from his little lady.

Even though he knew such a thing wouldn’t happen, his heart still felt warm.

After the earlier incident, they didn’t continue bickering, and the car safely made its way up to Mount Sterling.

Mount Sterling has a winding road, but it only goes up to the halfway point; if they want to go higher, they’ll have to hike.

There´s no tourist attraction here, so usually there aren’t many visitors. However, the air is fresh, especially in the morning. Taking a deep breath feels like inhaling the scent of grass and leaves.

Damian parked the car at a flat area at the end of the road, Bella was the first to get out, spreading her arms wide and taking a deep breath.

"Ah! Such fresh air! I feel like I can live fifty years longer!"

Damian got out too, wrapped a scarf around her, "The temperature is lower up the mountain, wear sothing warr."

"Okay, okay." Bella took his hand and smiled sweetly, "Damian, let’s hurry up. If we climb now, we might make it in ti to catch the sunrise."
