The first call was hung up, and Bella Acker waited in the phone booth for about forty minutes, estimating that even if Damian was in a eting, he should have gotten off work by now, so she dialed again.
The call reconnected, and after ringing three tis, it was hung up again.
"What’s going on?" Bella stared at the phone, a bit unhappy. "Calling twice and still not answering, could you be that busy?"
Not believing it, she dialed again. This ti it was hung up after just one ring.
Bella was a little angry, "Fine, you’re the one not answering the phone, don’t say I didn’t discuss it with you in advance later, hmph!"
Pulling out the phone card, Bella huffed back to the set.
With this back and forth, there was not much left of her one-hour break.
The crew mbers had already started working again, and she just had to push aside the little unhappiness in her heart and focus on acting.
The first scene at night was her kiss and bed scene with Archer Quinn. Even though she knew it was just acting, she was still very nervous.
The makeup artist sister was adjusting her makeup, while Sharon Cheney comforted her nearby, "Bella, don’t be so nervous, just relax a bit."
"Ms. Cheney..." Bella turned her head to look at her pitifully.
The thought of lying in bed with another man made her uneasy and nervous.
Sharon laughed, "When you’re shooting, don’t think too much about other things, just focus on the scene. You have to rember you’re a professional actor."
"Okay, I’ll try." Bella nodded.
The makeup artist sister laughed, "Bella, you’re blushing from being so nervous, you won’t need blush then."
"Sister!" Bella was embarrassed.
Seeing this, Sharon and the makeup artist sister both found it amusing.
Both of them were already used to filming; only Bella was new, experiencing her first kiss and bed scenes, so it was understandable that she was nervous around them.
Joking this way was to help her relax.
"Alright! Actors in position!" Director Ford shouted with a gaphone.
The makeup artist sister stopped her work as well.
Sharon patted Bella’s arm, "Go on, just focus on portraying your role, don’t overthink the rest."
"Mm." Bella nodded, then walked over to the intricately carved bed on the set.
Archer Quinn was already waiting there. Seeing her co over, he smiled and reassured her, "Don’t be nervous, I’m here."
It’s because you’re here that I’m nervous, seriously?
If it were a bed scene with a woman, she wouldn’t be this nervous.
Bella stuck out her tongue at him, "Senior Quinn, guide a bit, let’s try to pass in one take."
"Okay." Archer understood she was nervous because it was her first bed scene, but hearing her say it so directly still left him a bit disappointed.
Does she really dislike being in close contact with him?
Seeing he seed a bit lost in thought, Bella waved her hand in front of him, "Senior Quinn?"
Archer snapped back, raising a gentle smile, "You go lie down first."
"Mm."
This scene was Bella’s character Hera lying on the bed, waiting for Archer’s character, the Emperor, to co to her. It was a scene they had missed filming earlier because Archer wasn’t available.
At this point, Hera had just recently entered the palace, a simple, romantic young woman.
Director Ford, seeing in the monitor that both of them were in position, then said, "Alright, everyone pay attention, three, two, one, action!"
