Vivian Norris listened to the complints everyone was giving her, feeling quite pleased, though she maintained a modest smile.
Bella Acker listened with a smile nearby, allowing the makeup artist to touch up her makeup without interrupting.
She sneered inwardly. Vivian Norris always put on the act of being a good senior and sister in front of others, but behind the scenes, she regularly engaged in shady dealings.
Just wait and see! When the scandal breaks out, she wants to see if Vivian Norris can still keep up her pretense.
After finishing the touch-up, the fifth scene resud filming.
The night shoot wrapped up just past midnight today, which was actually earlier than the previous two nights.
After removing her makeup and changing clothes, Bella Acker left with Sharon Cheney, and at the entrance to the set, they encountered Archer Quinn waiting there.
Archer Quinn smiled and said, "Bella, I promised to treat you to sothing delicious, how about it?"
"Sure." Bella Acker nodded.
"Ms. Cheney, please join us." Archer Quinn also extended the invitation to Sharon Cheney.
Sharon Cheney was very health-conscious; she rarely ate much after four or five in the afternoon, especially steering clear of oily and spicy foods.
But the circumstances today were rather special.
The rumors about Bella Acker and Archer Quinn, just recently settled, had flared up again. If the two were alone together and got spotted, who knows what might be said. It was better to have more people with them.
"Alright." Sharon Cheney nodded, "Shaw, you’re also welco to join us."
Shaw felt a bit embarrassed, given that Archer Quinn hadn’t specifically invited her.
Archer Quinn took the opportunity to invite her: "Co along, the more the rrier."
"Really?" Shaw was sowhat delighted. After all, she was just a small assistant and not close with Archer Quinn. Being invited like this to dinner felt like a sudden win.
"Of course." Archer Quinn smiled warmly and gentlemanly, "The place is not far; let’s walk there."
Bella Acker and the others had no objections and started walking forward together.
Archer Quinn said, "This place was recomnded by a friend of mine. He’s very fond of trying all sorts of foods, it should be quite good. Do you see that store with the two orange lanterns and fabric curtains? That’s the place."
Shaw said, "The location is quite tucked away; it seems Senior Joan’s friend is truly a culinary enthusiast, otherwise how could he find such a place."
"He does love food; Bella, you’d probably get along well with him." Archer Quinn chuckled, "Bella, I’ll introduce you soti."
"Sure." Bella Acker nodded, "It would be great to et more friends who love food, then we could eat our way across the Riverlands!"
Sharon Cheney interjected, "Archer, you don’t an Director Simons, do you?"
"Ms. Cheney guessed right." Archer Quinn laughed, "Who else but him could be so passionate about food? Bella, have you seen ’Master Chef’ and ’Food Battle’?"
"Yes, I have." Bella Acker widened her eyes, "Senior Quinn, those are Director Simons’ films?"
"Exactly." Archer Quinn replied, "His films almost all feature various dishes, and since you also like food, I knew you’d be able to hit it off. We’re here, let’s go in."
When they arrived at the dining place, Archer Quinn lifted the curtain for Bella Acker to enter first, then followed her inside.
Sharon Cheney observed, her mind becoming clear.
Archer Quinn had clearly intended to introduce Bella to Director Simons with those remarks.
Word had it that Director Simons was preparing a new film; was Archer intending to pave the way for Bella in the movie industry?
