Cynthia Young was holding her notebook, jotting down the schedule arrangents for the upcoming days. Upon hearing the statent, she paused and looked up.
"I want to sign up for the drama school’s entrance exam," Bella Acker said. "I haven’t learned acting systematically, and I still want to go to school for it."
"Okay, that’s doable." Cynthia noted it down in her notebook, "I’ll help you sign up for the entrance exam, and at that ti, we’ll take you directly to the test. This won’t delay your filming and appearances on shows. Besides learning acting, there are many other things you need to learn, and I’ll enroll you in training classes for those. The days ahead might be hard; apart from work, it’ll be all about studying. You won’t have much ti for dating, so let your boyfriend know and have him prepare ntally."
"Huh?" Bella Acker was surprised, "Ms. Young, how did you know I have a boyfriend?"
Cynthia glanced at her and motioned to the spot behind her ear.
Bella’s face flushed red, and she quickly raised a hand to cover it.
In the morning, Damian seed to have kissed her behind the ear, unexpectedly leaving a mark.
The rascal, leaving a mark like that without telling her, causing her to walk around obliviously; surely many people saw it. She didn’t care about others, but thinking that Aunt Sienna and Ms. Flynn definitely saw it made Bella feel terribly embarrassed.
She wished she could catch Damian right now and hit him a couple of tis to relieve her anger.
Cynthia continued jotting down in her notebook while saying, "You need to be mindful of such things; you’re a public figure, and all your actions are under the public’s scrutiny. Moreover, in the next five years, we’ll publicly maintain that you’re single to attract more fans."
Bella was taken aback, "Can’t I ntion having a boyfriend?"
"Is your boyfriend in the industry?" Cynthia asked, looking at her, "Are you dating Archer Quinn?"
"No, no, Archer and I are just friends," Bella quickly gestured. "My boyfriend isn’t in the industry."
"Then it shouldn’t be announced, as it won’t offer any benefit to your career," Cynthia remarked. "You can discuss this with your boyfriend. Since he’s not in the industry, a low-profile relationship would be a form of protection for him."
"But..." Bella felt a bit troubled.
"What’s the matter? Is your boyfriend hard to deal with?" Cynthia raised an eyebrow.
Bella felt a bit embarrassed, "He doesn’t like having a sneaky relationship."
"Does he want it to be widely announced?" Cynthia seed to sneer a bit, "If he truly cares about you, he should understand how crucial these years are for your career. If he can’t endure this little hardship, then you might as well break up as early as possible."
"Ms. Young, it’s not like that..." Bella hesitated a mont before saying, "I’ll discuss it with him."
"Alright." Cynthia continued, "You need to think clearly about what’s more important to you. As a woman, having your own career allows you to stand tall. Only when you beco excellent enough will you attract equally excellent n, instead of being a re accessory. Needed sotis for affection and tossed aside when not."
Only when you are good enough can you stand beside him.
These words successfully moved Bella. While she’s striving to act well, besides making money, isn’t it also about improving herself, so she can be a match for Damian?
