Judy Zimrman drove Bella Acker back to her apartnt, and Bella collapsed onto the sofa, sleeping until the next day.
In the morning, the phone rang. Bella frowned and waited a mont before opening her eyes and picking up the phone, "Hello?"
"Bella, did I disturb your sleep?" Aunt Rhodes’s voice ca from the other end of the line.
"No." Bella rubbed her aching head and said, "Aunt Rhodes, what’s up?"
"I just wanted to ask if your injuries have healed?"
Bella poured herself a cup of hot water, "They’re all healed."
"Oh, that’s good." Aunt Rhodes paused before saying, "Bella, Bonnie has been fussing about wanting to see you. When do you have ti to et up for a al and so tea?"
"Lately, my work schedule has been pretty tight, so it might not be possible." Bella thought for a second and said, "After I finish filming a variety show, I should have a day or two off. I’ll give you a call then."
"Alright, alright," Aunt Rhodes agreed repeatedly, "When you’re on break, rember to call . Bella, don’t overwork yourself too much, and rember to eat on ti."
"Yes, I know. Thank you for your concern, Aunt Rhodes." Bella took a couple of sips of hot water, finally feeling a bit better.
They chatted a little more before ending the call.
Bella glanced at the ti on her phone: ten past seven in the morning. She frowned and tossed the phone onto the sofa, walking barefoot toward the bathroom while massaging her head.
She had too much to drink last night. Waking up, her head was pounding as if it would explode. So things she rembered, others she had completely blacked out.
After showering, Bella found three missed calls on her phone, all from Judy Zimrman.
While drinking hot water, Bella called her back, "Hello, Piggy, I didn’t hear the phone because I was showering just now."
Judy Zimrman on the other end said, "No worries, I’m waiting for you downstairs."
"Okay, I’ll co down as soon as I’m dressed."
After hanging up, Bella got dressed, grabbed her bag, and went downstairs. Judy was waiting with her car outside the community gate.
Bella got in the car, "Piggy, sorry for keeping you waiting."
"No, I just got here too." Judy smiled and handed over a paper bag, "Breakfast, there’s a cup of hot coffee inside. Since you got drunk last night, your head must be uncomfortable today; a cup of coffee will help."
"Piggy, you’re totally my little angel. My head really hurts right now." Bella gratefully accepted the paper bag, which contained a sandwich and a cup of hot coffee, "Piggy, have you had breakfast?"
"I ate on the way here." Judy said as she started driving.
Knowing she’d already eaten, Bella didn’t stand on ceremony and ate the whole sandwich, drinking half of the hot coffee, finally feeling alive again.
"Phew." Bella sighed with satisfaction and said, "I still need to build up my alcohol tolerance. It’s just too miserable to feel like this every ti."
Judy replied, "So people are naturally not good with alcohol, so don’t push yourself too hard."
Bella shook her head, "I can’t always rely on Ms. Young to help block drinks." Before she finished speaking, her phone rang. The caller ID showed Cynthia Young.
"Ms. Young." Bella answered the phone.
"The role in Director Simons’s movie has been decided, you’ll play the third female lead." Cynthia’s efficient voice ca through the phone, with no unnecessary words, "After the morning training, co to the studio to sign the contract."
