The first scene was a one-take pass. Bella got out of the car and bowed to everyone, "Thank you all for your hard work."
"You worked hard too." The staff mbers, seeing her politeness, all smiled kindly.
The makeup artist ca over to touch up her makeup, while another staff mber handed her a script, saying, "Bella, these are the lines you need to say next."
"Thank you." Bella raised her face to let the makeup artist work while holding up the script to read her lines.
The lines were simpler this ti, just one sentence, "If I’d known we had to walk this far, I wouldn’t have brought so much stuff. I’m so tired." After saying this line, she would see the gate of the filming location.
"I got it, thanks." Bella handed the script back, and the makeup artist finished her makeup.
"Bella, you stand here, then push the suitcase and walk forward slowly. Mind your pace because you’re supposed to be tired from walking," a staff mber explained while guiding Bella to her spot.
"Got it, I understand." Bella nodded.
Judy Zimrman brought her suitcase over, whispered a quick "Good luck," and then swiftly exited the filming area.
The director’s team saw she was ready and imdiately signaled, "Ready, three, two, one, action!"
Bella pushed the suitcase, bending slightly forward, and walked step by step. After four steps, she paused at the staff’s gesture, rested one hand on her hip, and took a breath, saying, "If I’d known we had to walk this far, I wouldn’t have brought so much stuff. I’m so tired."
"Cut! The back was fine, but we need to redo the front. Have the guest drag the suitcase; it has more impact that way," the director instructed from a distance.
Bella understood, placed the suitcase to drag it, and reshot the scene. This ti, it was flawless.
"Alright, this part is done," the director called, and all the staff heaved a sigh of relief.
The staff mber leading Bella said, "Since the two hosts and the guest who arrived yesterday haven’t woken up yet, we have to wait for a bit. Bella, if you didn’t sleep well, you can nap in the car for a while, and I’ll let you know when filming starts again."
"Okay, thanks for the trouble."
Bella nodded in thanks, introduced herself to the show’s director, chatted for a bit, then returned to her car.
The temperature in the mountain was colder than in the city, and snow was piled everywhere, so much that speaking made puffs of white smoke appear from the mouth.
Bella wrapped herself in the coat provided by the show crew and stayed in the car until she finally ward up.
She didn’t feel like sleeping anymore at this point, so she took out her English book and started studying vocabulary.
The tutor didn’t co along this ti, but if she didn’t understand sothing, she could video call the teacher to ask.
Bella was engrossed in learning vocabulary when the car door suddenly opened. She paused, looking up in surprise, and was even more taken aback when she saw who it was, "Senior Quinn, what are you doing here? Don’t tell you were the guest who arrived yesterday?" She said, automatically shifting over to make space beside her.
"It’s ." Archer Quinn got in the car and closed the door again, "Didn’t you notice the guest section at the bottom when you signed the contract?"
"When I signed the contract, I only knew there were two guests for this episode, but it hadn’t been confird who they were at the ti." Bella replied, "Senior Quinn, I really didn’t expect it to be you."
