No one knew the answer, but it was certain that each assessnt team had to make a choice.
And the key to that choice was evidently hidden within this population data.
"Now announcing the initial score distribution rules: selecting a young adult earns 1 point each; choosing a childless couple earns 1.5 points each; selecting a family with children earns 2.5 points each; selecting a family with children and elderly earns 3 points each."
With the scores announced, the room instead fell silent instantly.
Nobody spoke, as everyone quickly calculated the differences behind the scores.
The point differential between young adults and families with children and elderly was threefold, an extrely exaggerated gap.
Considering the overall situation of the Wasteland, generally with such family setups, the labor capacity of the interdiate couple usually counted as 1.2 young adults.
Children at most counted as 0.2, and elderly were estimated at 0.4.
Assuming one child and one elder, such a four-person family’s total labor force was 3.
Compared to young adults, their labor capacity was 2 less, but they could exchange for three tis the points, undoubtedly a worthwhile deal.
But obviously, such an extrely simple situation as one child and one elder would not appear in this assessnt.
Ding Yishan seed quite satisfied with the response from the inspectors present and unexpectedly took the microphone to speak:
"Families with children have two children, hence one boy and one girl."
"Families with children and elderly have three children and two elders, two boys and one girl."
