"For the remaining 150 people, should we allocate them to couples?" Wang Kang nodded in agreent, "Actually, we could add another 100 strong adults, but that would really increase the points pressure. With 50 people, it should be enough just for security."

"Exactly, as long as the labor is sufficient. The terrain of Dapo Town doesn’t require heavy labor cleanup tasks, besides..."

Cheng Ye paused for a mont. When that ti cos, the Action Points he has saved up would finally co in handy.

As long as there’s no one monitoring in real-ti, he could easily use so Action Points to offset the minor labor shortfall. There’s absolutely no need to bring in a bunch of strong adults.

Fewer people ans more obedience. With more people, they wouldn’t be able to manage them all.

Of course, it would be great if we could pull so militia from the community, but even thinking about it seems impossible.

If militias could co along for construction, other High-Phase Inspectors would be able to bring in even more talent, and even the Low-Phase ones could recruit a bunch of loafers willing to risk their lives for money in the shantytown.

At that point, it won’t be about who can resettle refugees; it’d be about who has deeper pockets.

"We’re not taking any families with children or the elderly. Since it might be a trap, there’s no need to try."

Cheng Ye made the decision final.

This is also why he didn’t set a personnel ratio from the start.

If he could select from the entire refugee formation, he could definitely pick out a lot of families willing to co along.

But when choosing only from those provided by the checkpoint, he has to consider a bunch of additional factors and not just the future developnt of Dapo Town.

Once they get the contract, there will be ti to recruit more desired staff.

"Understood. Brother Cheng, whatever you say, we’ll do it that way!"

Wang Kang nodded emphatically and ended with a playful remark, "Being with Brother Cheng is great. If I had to sit here making decisions, my head would’ve surely exploded from overthinking!"

"Your task is not just to register information and issue badges here. I’ll explain it again in the second round, and then you’ll instruct the people for the third and fourth rounds!"

"No problem!" Wang Kang answered readily, "This is no different from when we were learning to sing or tell stories. After all, it’s just chatting with people. If sothing’s said wrong, there’s always a chance to smooth things over."

"Exactly, keep up that enthusiasm!"

Cheng Ye nodded approvingly.

At this point, the crowd gathering around was getting larger, and the legion simply dispatched four ard pickups to help maintain order.

There were at least a thousand people waiting in line, but only five hundred were to be accepted, clearly not everyone could co in for an interview.

Following Cheng Ye’s instruction, Long had already started the first round of filtering on the periter.

The core standard for selection was family-based, but it was openly stated that seven-mber families were not allowed.

When this rule was announced, many large families in line were stunned, and a protesting voice imdiately arose from the crowd, "Why aren’t we letting seven-mber families in? We work just as hard as anyone else!"

"What nonsense are you talking?" Er Long ca up with his people from behind and snapped back with a glare, "You’re allowed to choose your inspectors, but inspectors can’t choose their people?"

His eyes scanned the crowd, pinpointing the man leading the ruckus, "You, weren’t you eliminated earlier for asking for extra compensation? What are you yelling about now?"

The man’s face flashed with an awkward smile as he pulled the woman beside him to retreat to the back of the crowd, not daring to make another sound.

Cheng Ye’s eyes followed the two figures.

Sure enough, after the two left the line, they went straight to another inspector’s recruitnt point.

The so-called "family" didn’t have a shadow of elderly or children; they were clearly a couple pretending to be a large family trying to sneak in.

Unless the checkpoint intentionally arranged it, these two are likely corrupted by the Wanderer, having lost the mindset of normal people, utterly depraved.

"Could the checkpoint deliberately select such people to let Low-Level Inspectors get accustod to dealing with refugees in a controlled environnt?"

Cheng Ye pondered.

A batch of Third-Phase, Fourth-Phase Inspectors for the contract have all been veterans since the Great Expansion era. A simple tour outside the city gives them a general understanding of refugees, knowing what tactics to use.

But Low-Level Inspectors haven’t experienced this, and the second Satellite City assessnt is the perfect opportunity for training.

Compared to a learning session in a large theater, this real sword-and-shield scene is evidently far more educational.

"No wonder it’s called field and practical training."

Cheng Ye suddenly realized, "Even if we don’t get the contract opportunity in the end, we can still gain so growth experience, at least not remain so naive."

From different positions, the considerations and priorities are also different.

He’s pondering the construction of Dapo Town, how to attract refugees, how to win the competition.

Ding Yishan, Harlem, and these station chiefs need to consider the overall contracting points, personnel arrangents, and the training of Low-Level Inspectors.

Everyone has their own "tasks", Cheng Ye thought for a mont, and didn’t instruct the guards to capture the two troublemakers.

With the current situation, inspectors have realized the need for collaboration.

So partner groups may be eliminated just at the selection phase, but it drastically changes the originally passive scenario.

But all these have nothing to do with him.

In the second round, five families were admitted, and these four-mber families were imdiately recognizable as real families.

Among them, three families ca from the Iron Ore Mine, all honest families like Lin Xiaoshan.

Cheng Ye simply called Lin Xiaoshan, who had already received his badge, to co over and assist with the explanation.

The other two families were small families from surrounding gathering places with presumably good risk resistance and a very respectful attitude.

"Inspector Cheng, my na is Sun Dazheng. I’m a carpenter from the Tumo Gathering Place. My wife, child, and I can all do carpentry work."
