Now reading: Chapter 182: Entered In The Resources Building from Wasteland: I Awakened A Plant System, a Sci-fi novel by SharkyMonster.

They were not in a hurry to enter, but instead circled the outside of the building.

It was this walk around that led Vikram to a new discovery.

On the back of the building, no, it should be said this was the front, there were actually doors and windows.

He wasn’t surprised at all to see a door as the entrance to the building, but the presence of windows was quite unusual.

In the Wasteland World, not only did Survivors not build windows in their Shelters, but Vikram had also never seen them in any ruins.

This was entirely due to various natural disasters.

Now, on the wall of this new resource, a large window prominently appeared, making it seem sowhat out of place.

Moreover, it wasn’t clear from the back of the building earlier, but now looking from the front of the house...

With white painted walls and a red-tiled roof, despite so damage to the walls, the three of them could easily tell this was a small villa.

Its construction technology was clearly not sothing found in the Wasteland World, which was enough to prove its strange origin.

This wasn’t even the main point; through the window, all three of them could clearly see the situation inside the house.

Sofas, carpets, scattered solid wood tables and chairs, and even the television left in the living room still stood on the wall.

On the coffee table were leftover fruits, which looked completely rotten.

On one wall was a poster, and the text on it was clearly English.

"This..." Vikram couldn’t help but exclaim in surprise.

The three of them looked at each other in unison, all reading a hint of astonishnt in each other’s eyes.

Because all the signs at the scene indicated that this building, like the Survivors, had been brought to the Wasteland World from Earth.

"The new resource... is this it?" Vikram asked with a hint of a complex tone.

If this villa was indeed, as they suspected, transported from Earth to the Wasteland World, then it indicated two pieces of information.

First, resource gathering might beco much simpler in the future, and Survivors in the Wasteland World could get more good things from these new resources.

Originally, this should have been a cause for joy, but the underlying ssage was that their forr Earth might have already been hollowed out by the Wasteland World, and returning was now a pipe dream.

Perhaps returning to Earth now would only reveal an endless wilderness, just like the Wasteland World.

Thinking of this, Vikram couldn’t help but show a hint of regret, but he eventually shook his head, casting those thoughts aside.

"Should we go in and take a look?" The three of them had been standing outside the house for so ti when Divya broke the silence.

Hearing this, Vikram nodded without hesitation.

The biggest goal of this outing was this new resource appearing in the Wasteland World; why would they not enter once they arrived?

In fact, besides pondering the implications of this new resource, Vikram had also been observing the environnt inside.

His delay in action was also because he had discovered an important situation.

Judging by the accumulated dust on the ground, this house should have been abandoned for so ti.

However, there were obvious signs of movent near so furniture, indicating that soone had been in this house.

What truly puzzled him was that there were still many useful supplies in the house, yet they hadn’t been taken.

Just the television in the living room alone; he imagined if other Survivors ca here, they definitely wouldn’t pass it up.

That left only one possibility: the people in the house hadn’t left yet, and at this mont, they might be observing the three of them from an unseen corner upstairs.

Making a rash move without knowing the number and strength of the people inside would be a bad idea.

"Don’t move yet, wait for ." Saying that, he took a step forward, approaching the main door of the house.

Its wooden door was already in a state of decay, and Vikram didn’t even have to exert force; the door was gently pushed open.

The old wooden door still let out a "creak."

It was just as he had thought; the people inside hadn’t left yet. As the wooden door made a sound, there was also a slight sound from the ceiling, which then imdiately fell silent.

It was as if soone had been startled and stopped moving to avoid being discovered.

However, even so, Vikram clearly caught the sound from just now.

It was sowhat different from what he had imagined; it seed that the people inside had only just realized that he and his group had arrived outside the building.

Otherwise, such a flustered sound wouldn’t have been made.

He couldn’t worry about that much now. The biological detector couldn’t detect the number of creatures inside from outside the house. At the mont, he could only try to enter the house.

The data displayed on the biological detector did not disappoint him; as soon as half his body entered the house, four red dots appeared on the detector.

Although he couldn’t know the opponent’s strength, this at least allowed him to know the number of people, preventing a sneak attack.

Judging from the earlier reaction, the people upstairs must have noticed soone entering the house.

At this mont, the house was quiet, clearly indicating no intention of coming out.

He was not in a hurry either; he first turned his head, beckoned to the two people behind him, and had them follow him into this small villa.

"The things in this house seem very rare, don’t they? Is this what the Survival Platform called the new resource?" Anjali looked around curiously.

"Indeed, many of the furnishings inside are still useful to us, but I just don’t know if these appliances still work," Divya also said calmly.

"We need to check it, to find out if it works or not," Sophia also agreed.

Vikram didn’t specifically tell them to be quiet; the two standing outside probably hadn’t heard the commotion earlier.

Now, having just entered the villa, the two, surprised by what they found inside, exclaid aloud.

They didn’t lower their voices at all, and Vikram was certain that the people upstairs had heard everything clearly.

This was also intentional on Vikram’s part; having the three ladies speak out, if not to trick the people upstairs into coming out, would at least make them slightly less vigilant.

Vikram himself kept his gaze fixed on the biological detector, not even rushing to take any items from inside the house.

"Oh my, there’s a big TV here! Let’s quickly take it ho; that way, it won’t be so boring in the territory."

Still speaking, Anjali picked up the TV, intending to put it directly into her backpack and take it away, which made Vikram feel a bit embarrassed.

In this world, computers might still be sowhat useful, as you could play single-player mini-gas and such.

But if you brought a TV back, what would you expect to watch besides a static screen?

However, this remark, which he found sowhat speechless, actually had so effect.

Perhaps it was because of the TV, but the four people upstairs, who had been motionless for a long ti, finally made a move after hearing Anjali’s words.

In Vikram’s line of sight, he saw a red dot move straight forward, and as it moved, footsteps also echoed inside the house.

It was then that the three, who had been searching for supplies inside the house, noticed that there seed to be more than just the four of them present.

Both of them simultaneously widened their eyes and looked at Vikram, a hint of embarrassnt in their gaze, as if asking if they had ssed things up...
