Now reading: Chapter 184: Intresting Survivors from Wasteland: I Awakened A Plant System, a Sci-fi novel by SharkyMonster.

"Alright, you guys are thinking too simply."

Waving his hand, the middle-aged man continued, "In the Wasteland World, soone who can openly walk around with three won, do you think he’s soone easy to bully?"

Looking at Vikram, who was still composed downstairs, a hint of seriousness appeared in the middle-aged man’s eyes.

"Tch, what’s there to be afraid of? My physique has also reached its limit. Why would I be afraid of that young punk downstairs?"

"Besides, we don’t want his life; we just want to take what belongs to us." The man from before said indifferently, pouting.

He still really wanted to directly drive Vikram and his group away, but under the middle-aged man’s gaze, he eventually compromised.

Seeing that Ron was no longer arguing with him, the middle-aged man turned his head away from him.

He then looked at Vikram and said, "How about it, little brother? Is there any problem with my suggestion?"

The middle-aged man was very sure that his suggestion had already given a significant concession and should not be rejected.

However, the result was far beyond his and the others’ expectations.

Vikram, after hearing the middle-aged man’s words, just smiled, then slowly spoke. "Alright, I’m not an unreasonable person either."

"This place was indeed found by you first. You can take the larger share of the supplies; I don’t even need half."

"But we get to pick from these supplies first, and whatever is left is all yours."

Although saying this was sowhat shaless, Vikram could actually have killed all of them and taken all the supplies.

The Wasteland World doesn’t care about first-co, first-served. Vikram’s willingness to leave a portion now was already a bargain for them.

Of course, all of this was only possible because Vikram’s strength completely overwheld the other few.

Otherwise, it would be his group tucking their tails and fleeing today.

"Will this be too easy for them?" Stroking his chin, he pondered.

Vikram was still wondering if what he was doing was too lenient, but in the eyes of the others, it was completely different.

Especially the man from before, whose eyes were red after hearing these words, clearly infuriated by them.

In his opinion, the suggestion of splitting it evenly was already generous enough for Vikram and his two companions. Now he still wanted to pick out the good stuff in the room first? How was that possible?

"You dog, you’re really pushing your luck! My boss offered you such terms, and you still dare to haggle? It seems I really need to teach a lesson to an ungrateful Survivor like you today."

A weapon appeared in the man’s hand. Unlike the common long knives seen everywhere, it was a pair of brass knuckles.

Without a word, he put them on his fists. The four sharp spikes on the brass knuckles emitted a dazzling silver light, making Vikram montarily stunned.

The middle-aged man beside him tried to stop him, but the man had already leaped down from the wooden stairs first.

His speed was so fast that the thick dust in the room was kicked up wherever he passed, making the already unlit interior even gloomier.

However, this did not affect the man’s movents at all. A not-so-thick but extrely powerful arm instantly shot straight towards Vikram’s face.

In response, Vikram stood rooted to the spot, showing no intention of dodging this fierce blow.

It wasn’t until the fist, wearing the brass knuckles, was about to touch his face that he finally made a move.

"Tch, acting so tough, but he’s just a nobody." The man who threw the punch saw Vikram only reacting then, thinking that Vikram’s strength was nothing special, and scorned him inwardly.

However, things quickly went beyond his expectations. He hadn’t actually intended to kill Vikram.

Just as he was about to retract his arm before his fist hit Vikram, he was astonished to find that he had lost control of his arm.

His entire arm hung in mid-air, and before him was still Vikram’s expressionless face.

Only his own arm was like a stuck gear, completely unable to move.

He widened his eyes, trying to find the problem, but realized that at so point, a hand had already rested on his forearm.

Ron tried to use all his strength to pull his arm free, but found it remained completely still.

The most unsettling thing was that the one holding his arm looked like a child, with two small purple horns. It stared at him with a playful expression, yet that very look made his skin crawl.

Worse still, he had no idea where this being had co from. Those purple eyes... They felt like the gaze of a god of death itself.

"Let go!" he finally shouted, his voice strained and filled with fear as he gritted his teeth.

Veins bulged on his forehead, and beads of sweat ford rapidly.

The hand gripping his arm, the Phantom Druid’s hand tightened slowly, applying increasing pressure with each passing second.

His forearm began to turn purplish from restricted blood flow, and a sharp, throbbing pain spread through it.

A chill of fear crept into his heart. If this continued, his arm might snap at any mont.

He raised his other fist, preparing to strike and break free, but suddenly the pressure vanished.

Before he could even react, his body was violently thrown backward, flying several ters before crashing into the wall.

"BOOM!"

At that mont, the remaining two from his group rushed over.

"Ron, are you alright?" one of them asked, helping him up.

Ron clutched his chest, wincing slightly before shaking his head. "I’m fine... just a superficial injury."

Yet his eyes flickered with lingering fear, because he knew... the Phantom Druid had held back.

Seeing his companion injured, this Survivor wanted to step forward to avenge him.

But Ron held his arm, "Don’t go up and embarrass yourself. I couldn’t beat him, what can you do?"

"I..." The man in black on the side wanted to retort, but Ron didn’t give him a chance.

There was a trace of fear in his voice as he continued, "He didn’t actually try to kill . It’s just that my skills are inferior. I can only say that Harry bro was right; they are indeed not soone we can afford to provoke."

Sighing again, the man’s face was filled with unwillingness, yet he was helpless.

The middle-aged man, their leader, also had a troubled expression. Actually, agreeing to the previous conditions wouldn’t have been a big deal for them.

Now that a fight had broken out, not only could they not beat the other party, but their previous proposal might also be invalidated. And from nowhere, this child like being appeared, and its face and horn, give them the dangerous vibe.

But now that a fight had broken out, not only had they lost, but their previous proposal might also be invalidated. More importantly, that child-like being with purple horns... It appeared out of nowhere. And the way it stood there, gave off an extrely dangerous aura.

If there were more like it... they didn’t even dare imagine the outco. It was highly likely they would have to surrender all the resources in this house today.

"Little brother, I’m truly sorry. My companion is really a bit reckless, but he didn’t intend to kill anyone."

"We won’t take the supplies in this house. How about we just pretend today’s incident never happened, little brother?"

Clearly, the middle-aged man felt that his companions were more important, not even planning to take the resources.

He imdiately took Ron, who had suffered so minor injuries, and intended to leave this dangerous place.

Seeing this, Vikram raised an eyebrow. This pair was truly a rarity in the Wasteland World.

Such simple Survivors, he had truly never seen before.

For a mont, he actually beca interested in them. First, he took a step, blocking their path...
