A huge thank you to greychimp and Don_RaDjinn for the Golden Tickets!
The dicines collected in the Hospital also had brands, but Vikram didn’t recognize most of them, only being able to identify the type of dicine through the System.
Now, after hearing from Anjali, he finally confird this conjecture.
After a mont of thought, under the curious gazes of the others, Vikram used his blade to cut open the cardboard box packaging.
[Canned Yellow Peaches X6: Sweet canned yellow peaches, an essential canned fruit for Survivors, providing rich nutrients for Survivors.]
"Just fruit cans?" He sighed slightly.
Although it was indeed a valuable food supply, it was still sowhat different from the self-heating food and canned at he had imagined.
After all, the fruit trees in the shelter had already been planted, and while these canned fruits tasted good, they couldn’t compare to eating fresh ones.
"Quick, check if they’ve expired!"
Unlike Vikram, Anjali, who wasn’t very tall to begin with, wasn’t so enthusiastic about eating, even on Earth she didn’t like it more.
These fruit cans, however, were her favorite.
Seeing these canned yellow peaches, Anjali by his side imdiately showed joy and said.
Hearing this, Vikram didn’t look for the date on the can but scanned it again with the System.
[Not expired, not spoiled, edible.]
After getting this satisfactory answer, Vikram directly tossed the entire box of cans in his hand to Anjali.
"Don’t rush to eat. It’s getting late. Before it gets dark, quickly move all the usable supplies from this cold storage."
He instructed, then turned to look at Phanty and the others.
"Now, split up and collect supplies. Prioritize food, and try to pick items with good expiration dates.
"
He didn’t know if there were other supplies in this cold storage, so he could only give this order for now.
The few Druids and Sprout imdiately understood and scattered in front of Vikram.
Although Vikram brought Phanty, Healy, Lighty, Stormy and Anjali to collect supplies this ti, the amount collected would definitely not be higher than the last ti at the Hospital.
After the trading market was affected, the biggest impact on Vikram was no longer being able to exploit a bug to transport supplies.
So, they absolutely couldn’t transport all the supplies in this factory at once.
But because the RV has a big warehouse, he was also not worried about it anymore.
Seeing the others busy, Vikram didn’t stay idle either.
The canned goods on the shelves in front of him one by one disappeared into his pocket.
In just five minutes, the shelves were cleared out.
Looking at the shelves in front of him, Vikram pondered for a mont, then with a wave of his hand, he took them all away.
It wasn’t that he lacked this bit of tal from the shelves, but rather that these ready-made shelves could be used in the Shelter’s storage area.
He glanced at his backpack, seeing the canned yellow peaches occupying only one slot, and Vikram nodded.
He had originally worried whether supplies with different dates couldn’t be stacked, but it seed he had overthought it.
He rushed to another shelf without stopping, intending to continue collecting food here,
but then Anjali’s startled cry ca from not far away.
"Ah!"
Vikram’s heart tightened.
"Aren’t there no zombies in the cold storage?"
He checked the biological detector again, confirming he hadn’t seen anything wrong, and Vikram frowned as he hurried towards the depths of the cold storage.
Following the sound, he arrived at Anjali’s location, and seeing her safe and sound, he breathed a sigh of relief.
"Why are you shouting? You scared ."
Realizing she had been too agitated, Anjali imdiately pouted, then rembered sothing and pointed to the shelf in front of her.
"Stinky Vikram, I wasn’t causing trouble! Look what I found?"
Raising an eyebrow, Vikram leaned closer and opened one of the boxes of supplies.
[Braised Pork Cans X6: Canned braised pork with a good mix of lean and fat, though not as visually appealing as freshly made, the taste is by no ans inferior.]
"Are there even canned ats?" Vikram said, a little dumbfounded.
Seeing Vikram’s reaction, Anjali’s eyes rolled in her sockets, as if she had thought of sothing, "Hehe, now you know you misunderstood , right?"
"Stinky Vikram, quickly tell how you’re going to compensate ?"
Anjali put her hands behind her back, striking what she thought was a cute pose, and said with a sweet smile.
"Go, go, go, put the supplies back first."
Vikram, knowing he had wrongly accused Anjali, didn’t intend to pretend he hadn’t seen it. With a small kiss, she beca happy. He has also decided, tonight he will take extra care of Anjali.
However, his mind was now full of these canned ats. After greeting her, he turned and began to pack these cans into his backpack.
The supplies in the warehouse were more than expected.
Even though so shelves were empty, Vikram and his group still took a long ti to finish collecting everything.
In the open space of the warehouse, the group gathered together.
"Did you all put the material inside the RV?" Vikram asked, looking at his plants team.
Vikram casually put the forklift next to him into his backpack, which was now completely full.
"Yes Vik, we have put all the things inside the RV." His Plants Team nodded.
"Good," Vikram nodded, for his plants team, he was always satisfied. No matter what required, they completed it. It was looking for resources, it was for fighting, and now with the Earth Mage, even if the system is not able to create houses, Earth Mage can do it.
With so much resources, he can do many things.
Although the trading market was half-Waste, offline transactions could still proceed.
Don’t look at how most Survivors’ Shelters have started planting crops now; the unstable planting environnt still makes food sources extrely scarce.
Not to ntion that most of the crops grown in shelters are distorted and of poor quality, and it’s questionable whether they’re even edible.
Even if Vikram doesn’t eat these canned goods now, they are still very important strategic resources.
After glancing at the empty shelves, Vikram finally packed all these shelves into his backpack.
He truly left nothing behind.
"Let’s go." Satisfied, Vikram scanned the empty cold storage and led the others out.
Before getting into the car, Vikram didn’t forget the dozen or so Mutated Zombie bodies lying outside.
Phanty quickly dug up their bodies and presented 2 Mutated Zombie crystals.
Including the ones Vikram already had, the number of Mutated Zombie crystals used reached 9.
He glanced at his current physique:
[Host: Vikram
Strength: 64
Speed: 67
Stamina: 63
Reaction: 66]
Because these crystals all have an upper limit for increasing physique, Vikram recorded each ti he used a crystal.
Needless to say, ordinary crystals had long been used to their limit. As for Mutated Zombie crystals, he had only used four so far.
Seeing this, Vikram took out 4 Mutated Zombie crystals from his ring and crushed them along with the 2 he already had in his hand.
In the blink of an eye, the 6 crystals transford into light green specks of light and dissolved in Vikram’s palm.
This surging power was invisible to others, but Vikram himself felt it clearly.
As the crystal’s power spread through his body, Vikram’s muscles involuntarily bulged.
He tried to clench his fist, and sothing unexpected happened.
"Bang!"
With just a single clench of his fist, the force of his palm compressing the air erupted in a loud bang.
As the Anjali behind him cast surprised and disbelieving glances, the feeling of surging blood vessels in his body gradually subsided.
[Host: Vikram
Strength: 76 (64 12)
Speed: 79 (67 12)
Stamina: 75 (63 12)
Reaction: 78 (66 12)]
Vikram, whose physique had increased by twelve points all at once, felt his mind clearer than ever before.
If it weren’t for the fact that the zombies in the factory had already been dealt with during their exploration, Vikram would now have the idea of fighting a hundred on his own.
Suppressing the impulse in his heart, Vikram exhaled and slowly opened his eyes.
"Congratulations, Vikram, you’ve grown stronger again." The Plants Team were happy, seeing him getting stronger.
Anjali, on the other hand, was too lazy to offer complints and simply walked up to poke Vikram’s arm, which was hard as rebar.
Seeing nothing unusual, she then wrapped her arms around him without permission.
Instead of pushing Anjali away, he shifted his gaze to the side.
He casually picked up an alloy steel plate nearby, then punched it!
His fist, upon contact with the cold steel plate, t no resistance and easily smashed a fist-sized dent into the two-centiter-thick plate.
"Hiss!"
"Doesn’t that hurt you?" Watching Vikram punch the steel plate, Anjali gasped.
Even though her current physique was considered top-tier in the Wasteland World, she had never thought of punching a steel plate.
"It still hurts a little." Vikram, whose coolness lasted less than three seconds, bared his teeth and shook his fist.
Fortunately, after one punch, other than a slight soreness in his finger bones, there was no major problem; he hadn’t even broken the skin.
Feeling the changes in his body, Vikram smiled.
After using this batch of crystals, if nothing unexpected happened, all the items in the Wasteland World that could enhance physique had been used by him to their upper limit.
If he wanted to improve his physique again in the future, before any other physique-enhancing items appeared in the Wasteland, he would probably only be able to rely on the primal evolution fruit in the store.
Scratching the back of his head, Vikram set fire to the bodies of Lucian’s four n and the zombies.
He dragged Anjali, who was still clinging to his arm, back into the car.
Glancing at the ti, it was already six in the afternoon.
The visibility, already obscured by the black fog, beca even darker.
He instructed Light Mage to create the light towards the way.
Although this light didn’t have the ability to penetrate the black fog, it was better than nothing.
The six of them, Vikram and his group, embarked on their return journey.
What they didn’t know, however, was that not long after the RV left, a series of dense footsteps echoed from the black fog near the factory...
"Vikram, this ti we took away so much food at once. Do you think our territory will be the richest in this area?"
"Needless to say, where else can you find so much food now?"
"I’m sure that if other Survivors knew our Shelter had so much food, a lot of people would definitely want to join us."
Anjali started her chattering, it was like all foods, she had brought herself.
Vikram smiled slightly at the words, noncommittal.
Although most of the Shelters he had
encountered so far couldn’t compare to the resources he personally held,
Vikram never beca complacent because of this.
There were plenty of smart and capable people on Earth, not to ntion the existence of Official Shelters.
This resource point today was indeed good for most Survivors. Vikram estimated that, including the weight of the tin cans, it must have been over a hundred tons.
Subtracting the weight of the cans and the liquids inside, it was probably around fifty tons.
For a territory with a small population like his, as long as the food didn’t spoil, it would last ten years without a problem.
But if it were a larger-scale Shelter, it might be consud in less than half a year.
It was hard to imagine how difficult it was for those large shelters to operate.
In fact, without resorting to looting and pillaging, most Shelters at this ti should still be struggling to get by.
Nevertheless, there were still so many large shelters in the Wasteland World.
In such shelters, where a group of people gathered, there were more people and more thods, so the speed of finding resources would definitely be faster.
Forget about food processing plants; Vikram would even believe if they found large granaries or grain silos.
The resources obtained today were nothing special.
However, these were, of course, only ideal scenarios. If there were no larger-scale resource points in the Wasteland World, then he would pretend he didn’t say anything...
