He knew he was going to die at the hands of this lowly bed bug nad Yu Jin today.
Even at death’s door, he still kept a stiff upper lip.
Eureka could tell Yu Jin wanted information. Facing the end, he chose to cling to his dignity as a high-level civilization player.

Eureka, in the sorriest state possible, still managed to spit out the toughest line.

Yu Jin gave him a thumbs-up, ready to hit him with a major mory Recovery Spell.

A familiar voice rang out.
Yu Jin looked up. Sure enough, it was none other than his old college roommate, Wu Yufei.
At this point, Yu Jin and Eureka were just outside Alpha City’s main gate.
The earlier "Tier Nine brawl" had left the hundreds of thousands of refugees in Alpha City both awed and terrified.
Only Yu Fei dared to step out the city gate and make his way here.

"Haha, long ti no see!"
Yu Jin put Eureka on the back burner for now and walked over to Yu Fei.
Their familiarity clicked right back—fist bump, just like old tis.
Yu Jin sized up Yu Fei. The Eye of Insight showed—
This guy who used to be obsessed with grad school exams was now a Tier Four Evolver.
And Yu Fei sized up Yu Jin.
