Now reading: Chapter 139 - 139 Winter Has Come from Way of Overlord, a Action novel by Keikokumars.

139: Winter Has Co 139: Winter Has Co Having expended all twenty of his attribute points, Aeryon knew he still had considerable resources at his disposal.

What is left to use is his twenty skill points and his three of class ability card.

He did not yet check his class ability card.

But then he rembered sothing.

He walk out of the tent and look at the sky.

He glanced at the winter sky As Aeryon stood outside and gazed at the winter sky, he couldn’t help but reflect on the passage of ti.

“hours passes and I did not even notice it” he thought to himself.

He chuckles with a wry smile on his face Hours had slipped away unnoticed while he had been imrsed in his thoughts, his attributes, and his plans for the tribe.

The chill of the winter air brushed against his skin, a reminder of the season’s persistence.

Despite the cold, there was a sense of tranquillity in the Great Steppe, a vastness that stretched out before him.

The sun, though obscured by a thin mist, cast its feeble light, marking the passage of another day.

As Aeryon gazed up at the sky, he couldn’t help but reflect on the peculiar sensation he’d experienced while enhancing his endurance and perception.

“Ti passes and I did not notice.

This must be the reason” It was as though he’d entered a transient state where the world around him faded into insignificance.

For those precious monts, ti lost its grip on him, and he was wholly absorbed in the profound changes taking place within him.

It was an almost ethereal experience, leaving him both awed and contemplative He got twenty skill points and he still have six skill points that he had saved before.

He look at his skill window and see that from tribe leader class, he could see that the title changed to Chief.

He opens up his status window so that he could look at it comprehensively.

He did not yet use his ability card and he did not check it.

He did not need to rush.

After all, he has the entire winter to prepare himself.

However, after coming out of the tent, Aeryon did not return to his Chief tent.

Instead, he look at his tent in the distance with a wistful look “Ayera…what should I do with you?” he ask a question that he has no answer to.

He look at the tent like he could see Ayera in the tent He did not yet consummate his marriage with Ayera.

There is of course reason why Aeryon decision to delay consummating his marriage with Ayera was driven by a combination of factor First, because he is uncomfortable with it.

In other words, discomfort.

He could not be comfortable with Ayera.

And then the second reason is the absence of any pressing reason to hurry.

He felt a certain unease that prevented him from embracing this aspect of their relationship too hastily.

Furthermore, he is acutely aware of Ayera role as a spy for her father.

As long as her actions didn’t jeopardize him or his tribe, he is content to maintain the pretence of ignorance.

This intricate dance of trust and subterfuge cast a shadow over their relationship, occasionally leaving him with a sense of suffocation within the confines of his own tent.

Normally, he found solace in the open, boundless expanse of the Steppe, riding his horse to unwind.

However, the unforgiving winter weather discouraged such excursions, leaving him with a sense of restlessness that he couldn’t easily dispel.

“When spring ca, my campaign could start again.

But this ti, more people would probably also join” Aeryon had heard about the shifting dynamics in the Southern Great Steppe.

As the smaller tribes were being absorbed by larger ones, powerful tribes and powerful alliances is erging.

Forces in the east and west were growing in strength.

Esbizuk tribe on the east, Brolgadhr and the Three Tribes Alliance on the West.

The upper regions of the Southern Steppe would also be moving Yet, Aeryon wasn’t fearful of these changes.

In fact, he felt a heightened sense of anticipation and excitent.

“As soone one said, chaos is a ladder” The evolving landscape presented opportunities he was ready to seize.

“I don’t know whether I am affected by the original Aeryon or this is a part of that I don’t even know” Aeryon knows himself.

When he was in his world, he was Jas.

And as Jas he was quite happy spending his ti at ho, reading books or listening to music He is not a hobody but he does like to retreat to his own solitude.

But that does not an that he does not know to socialize.

He does answer call to et and when he ets new people, it is not like he is an awkward person.

But he surely is not soone who likes conflict.

He himself is quite fit and could take a few guys.

But he never fights a person since middle school.

And yet when he arrived at this world and transmigrated to beco Aeryon he very much likes fighting.

He thinks that this must be the original Aeryon disposition, a disposition that is very familiar for the children of the Steppe.

As for his grand ambition, he also felt like he had to change sothing about the way the Great Steppe operates If he was transmigrated into Yan dynasty, he might think of ways to make sure Yan dynasty tribe but since he is transmigrated into the people of the Steppe, it is only logical that he would be biased toward the people of the Great Steppe.

His ambition seems grand and his vision also seems earth-shaking but in the end all of this is created so that the tragic history that he knows would happen will not happen.

He is saving the Great Steppe so that he could save himself.

Aeryon could not help but feel that he had changed sothing when he heard the other tribes began to move and expanding.

When Mayeux heard about the Cha-Ner-Ul Alliance, the ergence of the Esbizuk tribe, and the victory of the Utgard tribe, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of panic.

However, Aeryon remained remarkably composed.

“If my plans could be stopped that easily by such a few factors, I would not have started” but then he chuckles With a wry chuckle, he added, “Nevertheless, even if there were forces that could potentially hinder my progress, I must continue to forge ahead.

Once I took that initial step, there was no turning back.” When Aeryon initially crafted his grand plans, he was acutely aware that there would be no turning back once the wheels were set in motion.

He understood that the path he had chosen would lead either to the total dominance of his tribe over the Great Steppe or to the complete annihilation of his people.

There was no middle ground, and there was no retreat.

The die had been cast, and he was committed to seeing his ambitious vision through to the end, no matter the cost.

As Aeryon observed the unfolding events in the Great Steppe, he couldn’t help but feel that his plan was progressing as intended.

Tribes were forming alliances, larger tribes were absorbing smaller ones, and powerful regional forces were beginning to erge.

It seed that the seeds of change he had sown were taking root, and the landscape of the Great Steppe was shifting in ways that favoured his grand vision.

When it is like this, it is easier to unite the tribe.

Aeryon recognized that the current state of affairs in the Great Steppe, with tribes forming alliances and consolidating power, has both opportunities and risks.

On one hand, the larger, consolidated tribes made it easier for him to achieve his goal of unifying the region.

He wouldn’t have to conquer each tribe one by one; defeating a single powerful tribe could potentially bring many others under his rule.

However, he also understood the inherent danger in this approach.

If he failed in his efforts to defeat a larger tribe, it could set him back significantly.

Despite the risks, Aeryon was determined to pursue a swift unification of the Southern Great Steppe.

He didn’t want to wait for decades; his goal was to achieve unity within three or four years.

When he reads the book, there was never such a developnt happening in the Great Steppe Whether this change is good or bad, Aeryon do not have a way of knowing it.

He could only believe in the path that he is now walking.

He sighed “I have to prepare before spring.

When spring ca, my warriors would sweep the entire western side” he thought to himself.

Of course, there are so tribes he decided not to attack.

He still is not confident to et against the Western Zhou so he need so tribe to act as a buffer.
