Now reading: Chapter 200 - 200 The Women of Yan from Way of Overlord, a Action novel by Keikokumars.

200: The Won of Yan 200: The Won of Yan And Aeryon also notices sothing.

It is about the child around Mayeux.

This child keep looking at the woman of the city lord residence Of course, if he at the woman with lust then Aeryon could still understand.

But the way he look at the woman of this city lord residence is full of hate It is like he wanted to kill these won.

It is the sa when he looks at the people of the city of Nurshira.

“I need to talk to Mayeux later about this” Aeryon knows Mayeux could see people and he might see sothing in this kid After all, Mayeux took this kid to beco his apprentice.

That is what Mayeux told him.

Aeryon did not think much of it this ti but soone who Mayeux wanted to beco his apprentice must be soone that is talented.

But for now, Aeryon has many other things to worry about and think about Inside the lord residence, news of victories co by the hour.

There is a few resistances in the city and the other chief deal with it according to their thod.

Aeryon did not do anything else other than wait.

If any of the chief ask for his help he would send a few hundred n to help but from the mont Aeryon warriors take on the city lord residence and broke the resistance from the north area of the city, the outco is already decided Even now, the smokes are still rising toward the air and in many parts of the city, it is burning.

The winter cold at least prevent the fire from spreading too much And by the evening, the matter is settled.

The city surrender … By night, all the four chief is in the city lord residence of Nurshira.

There is Dama the Esbizuk tribe chief, a smile on the corner of his mouth, his killing aura still seems stuck to him There is the Sordkazan chief, Karnain, this old man whose eyes is cautious and his word is also cautious.

He did not speak much but when he speaks, it is like he is saying nothing.

No words are a mistake, his deanour is cautious and he did not have the jubilation and joy of a chief that had just won a battle Then there is the Khagai chief, Valgrun.

Despite being in his thirties, there was an air of maturity that enveloped him, borne not just from age but from the weight of experience and responsibility etched into his features.

His countenance carried a carefree smile, a disarming quality that effortlessly eased the tension within the room.

With a striking blend of elegance and strength, Valgrun exuded a unique charm—an amalgamation of gracefulness and the robust physique of a seasoned warrior.

Tall and handso, he bore an aura of approachability, with a face that radiated kindness and understanding.

Yet, beneath that amiable exterior lay the unmistakable physique of a battle-hardened leader, one who had weathered countless conflicts and erged resilient.

He is the second oldest in the room, handso and tall.

He had changed from wearing an armor to a long, loose-fitting robe.

This clothes is worn when they are not in a battle setting.

It is similar to the “deel” clothing of the Mongolian in Jas original world.

But in this world, it is called Bajuk It has large square cut flap that serves as both a pocket and protection from the cold.

This Bajuk is often made from silk, cotton, wool, or brocade, and they co in various colours and designs.

Khagai wear such casual clothing which only enhance his elegant bearings.

He did not wear a hat though so his light hair is tied into a high ponytail and his green eyes scanned the room.

His small black goatee added to his distinguished appearance.

Compared to Dama who looks like a monster with eyes that shone with a glint of madness, or the reserved but dangerous aura of Karnain, Valgrun the chief of Khagai tribe look frail But no one dares to underestimate him.

Because he is one of the tribes on the western border.

And in the Great Steppe, everyone from the four corners of the Great Steppe acknowledge that the tribes that neighbours the Western Zhou toward the west all have great warriors.

For decades those people that lives on the western line of the western borders of the entire Great Steppe has been dealing with the Western Zhou and each one of them have many powerful warriors.

That night the four chiefs agree on how to split the bounty.

The parts of the city where they broke in is their territories from where they could gather their bounties.

After all the four chief is not here for long.

They simply wanted to take down the city, take the resources and then returns to the Great Steppe Aeryon and his tribe would take the northern area of the city, the Sordkazan would take the east, Khagai would take the western area and the Esbizuk tribe would take the southern side of the city All of the chief is in agreent and it was at this eting that Dama wanted to sell the people of Nurshira to anyone who is willing to buy.

Sordkazan would not buy people of Nurshira because that ans more mouth to feed There is also a fact that they also have many prisoners of war.

They take won and they would take any n that could help them bolster their army In other words, the Sordkazan tribe would only take n that could fight.

Sordkazan is also looking to sell those old people and those farrs It is the sa for Dama but his thod is even more extre.

He didn’t even like the people of Yan.

To him, these Yan people are farrs and they lack battle instincts and the ferocity of the Steppe people They could not live-in harsh condition and they could not travel the world in horseback.

Then what use are they for him?

Dama first instinct was to simply slaughter them all.

But Katakura prevented this.

The won is given to Dama n to play with and then they would be slaughtered Dama did not find any enjoynt in the won on Yan.

Weak and they look like leaves in winter that would fall by the slightest wind blowing their way The woman of the Steppe, has to be strong and also smart For when the n goes to war, the mother needs to protect the ho.

And even won sotis have to fight But the won of Yan is so weak that they even killed themselves not wanting to be touched by the people of the Great Steppe Dama was perplexed by this.

One of his n toyed a round with the Yan won and that Yan won run herself toward a wall, smacking her head on the stone pillar and die on the spot When Dama ask the other people, the few that could speak Yan told him that she killed herself out of humiliation and Dama scoffed at this There is nothing more important than survival.

When you survive, there is still a chance.

When you die, then the Skyfather had a hold over you.

Dama only then knows that such won would never be accepted by the Yan people ever again and at least if they killed themselves they would have the reputation of a chaste won Dama laugh even further Between reputation and life, life is always more important.

Dama knowing this look down on the won of Yan even more.

In the Steppe history, there is many tis that the ;people of Yan raided the people of the Great Steppe.

They would wreak havoc and destruction and they would rape the people of the Greta Steppe.

One famous story was the story of Farahin.

Farahin was a woman of the Esbizuk tribe.

She was assaulted by the Yan soldiers and her father and her mother, her sisters and her brothers were killed by the invading Yan soldiers.

She herself was assaulted.

But she survived.

She would then later marry a chieftain of the mountain tribe and then ten years later, she ca down the mountain riding horses with a spear in her hand, she raided the military barrack of that Yan people and slaughter tens of thousands of people before entering back to the mountain and die of injury Her enemy that assaulted her was boiled alive.

It is said the one that assaulted her has many concubines.

So, she kills all of his concubines and made a at paste and let that person parent eat the at paste Then she kills all of the clan mber of that person, and when she wanted to boil that person, she uses woods and the bones of his family.

She boils that person with his sons.

Such thod of killing made the people of Yan that did similar stuff feel chills in their heart and because of that there was so much backlash and why there was so many people wanting her head.

It is because of that she was hurt and had to die of an injury But before she died she did a feat of great heroes and her story becos a lore in the many stories told in the campfire.

This is why when Dama saw how cowardly the woman of the Yan dynasty, he was very disappointed So, he had no desire to bring this woman with him to the Great Steppe.

They are only good as plaything for his n and then be slaughtered >> CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Keikokumars Your gift is the motivation for my creation.
