407: The Restless Chiefs 407: The Restless Chiefs Before, Ultar tribe could not easily move so of their reserve forces.
Because they fear Aestan tribe would do sothing.
But now with Brolgadhr tribe taking over the area of Wustkazan tribe, Aestan tribe must think twice before they sent an army against Ultar tribe.
After all, if Kan Aeryon could attack Wustkazan without saying anything, why could he not attack Aestan tribe?
Ultar tribe itself has many settlents and they did not have to do such desperate thing like the Wustkazan tribe and defend one settlent until death.
And even if that is true, actually Yanlan could have retreated.
Of course, this is the thought of many chief.
It is easy when it is not you in that situation and circumstances.
The truth is if they were in the sa situation and circumstance that Yanlan were in, they probably would make the sa choice.
Because the morale of his people would have collapsed back then if he had run away.
Their people, their wives, mothers, sons and daughter were all in that settlent.
If Yanlan had run away and retreated at that ti, knowing Aeryon, he would have used all of those people to make his people surrender.
And then he would lose almost imdiately.
And that is only one of strategy that Aeryon could use if Yanlan had run at that ti Yanlan and his soldier could run but the others could not.
And once they show that they are easily defeated, the morale would collapsed more easily and desertion would be high Yanlan himself knows that he did not need to defeat Brolgadhr tribe.
he just needs to delay them What so chief don’t understand is that the battle between the Brolgadhr tribe and the Wustkazan was not so one sided.
Because the chief of the Great Steppe only see the result.
And that is fine.
But it also give a lack of understanding of how Aeryon beco so strong and how he was victorious in every battle Without understanding the reason for defeat, these chief could not learn from the mistakes of others.
They did not understand that the reason why Aeryon wins was because the lack of information between the tribes.
The swiftness of the attack.
The almost desperate kind of maneuvers to win the battle.
Killing Yanlan was not easy.
Belarion was bogged down and Aeryon was blocked.
If Wustkazan have many more warriors and many more soldiers, the sche of taking the head of Wustkazan chief could have backfired.
That is because Aeryon needed a swift victory and Yanlan needed to delay.
If not because of Belarion and Aeryon cutting through the rank of the enemy and took Yanlan head, there is a chance that given enough chance, the Wustkazan could have repelled the Brolgadhr tribe, establish contact once again with the neighbouring tribes and form an alliance to defend against the aggression of the Brolgadhr tribe.
But all these “if” have now beco nothing but the sigh of the loser.
Yanlan is dead, Wustkazan is destroyed.
But to the eyes of the chief that is not in the situation and did not see it from the circumstances of Yanlan they believe the Wustkazan defeat is because Wustkazan chief did not retreat in ti, he got killed, his army demoralized and leading to his territory being carved up among his subordinate.
So now Aestan tribe, could not make any moves Even if Aestan decided that Kan Aeryon would not attack them and they decided to attack Ultar tribe settlent, the Ultar tribe could always reside on the settlent of the forr Aksak tribe and launch a counterattack.
One of the things that most chief learned after the death of Wustkazan chief is to separate so of their forces so that attacking their main settlent would no longer an the fall of their position.
So of them also made allies so that if their main settlent falls, they could first rest in an allied tribe and then mount a counterattack.
It is not such things has never been implented before.
In the central Great Steppe, losing the settlent rarely ans the destruction of the entire tribe.
This is because the Central part of the great Steppe has always been plagued by wars.
If there is one reason why such thing has deteriorated so much in the Southern Great Steppe, it is the fact that there is a rigid status quo.
There is even a trend of inheritance-based succession.
What does this shows?
It shows that land possession is now a concept that is no longer foreign to the people of the Southern Great Steppe The Southern Great Steppe have many disadvantages but there is also sothing that they have that not many parts of the Great Steppe have.
And that is the fact that their lands could be used to cultivate food.
Not all of these places, yes, but in the lower part of the Southern Great Steppe, at least so kind of food plant could be cultivated.
And so, even though most of the tribe still migrate from ti to ti, they also have settlent.
And these settlents existed for quite so ti and quite stable.
And so, the family that control these settlents beco powerful as years go by and to keep stability, most of the next chief is chosen from the sa family Slowly becoming this family succession.
Many parts of the Steppe in the past did not uses this succession thod before.
Instead, it is the one that contribute the most to the developnt of the tribe, the strong among all of the tribe would be considered as candidate of the tribe.
But Aeryon conquest revives back the fiery blood of the Steppe people.
And once they are awakened, these docile wolves that is more dog than wolves turns into wolves and it is the most fiercest wolf there is.
Ino tribe was not only attacked on their northern area.
On their eastern front Nergui tribe co raiding.
Two front and both front shows that Ultar tribe and Nergui tribe is attacking for the win.
Straight to the neck!
Cutting the source!
Ino tribe leader had no choice than to retreat from the Haltur frontline to protect their people.
And the mont that Ino tribe send back it warriors back, Chagai tribe push the front and half of the Haltur area is now occupied under the influence of the Chagai tribe.
To those who were paying attention to this battle of conquest of the Cha Ner Ul Alliance, the ending of Haltur tribe is already written in stone.
At the sa ti when many people are looking at the west, there was sothing else that probably slips the mind of many chief.
There was a ssenger that co from the Nogai tribe to the Brolgadhr tribe.
So chief read it and find nothing wrong with it.
After all, the Nogai tribe is now neighbours with the Brolgadhr tribe.
Surely, the chief of the Noga wanted to find so kind of understanding or probably establish so kind of diplomatic channel between the two.
A small news.
A blip in the current situation.
But to those who in the know, this small news, would change the entire history of the Great Steppe and would change the pattern of power in the Southern Great Steppe.
This news however is overshadowed by the news of Kan Aeryon victory, the Haltur crisis, the Cha Ner Ul Alliance intense fighting and the Khagai and Bolghar battle that is on stalemate near the valley of Bolghar.
And the west is not the only place in the Southern Great Steppe that is full of excitent There is also sothing afoot in the east.
Those who have lived in the period of stagnation for the past hundred years in the Southern Great Steppe, had to adapt with the fast-moving world of today.
Wars everywhere, powers changing as fast and as unpredictable as the prairie wind On the east, there is more restless move.
Why?
Because now the rumoured ambitious young Kan is having access easily to the east.
The one that is restless is the Yindir and Dayan tribe.
Even so they should not be that shaken.
After all, it is not the first ti that these two tribes has been fighting other tribes.
But this is different than before.
Most of the ti, it is the power of one tribe against the other.
Almost equal in power.
Even if it’s not, there is still strategy and bravery in battle that could turn the tide of victory toward one side.
Brolgadhr is different.
They are no longer just a strong and large tribe.
They are massive and they are winning support left and right.
They could support wars toward the West and yet, muster enough people to expand toward the north and with two n of great strength and five thousand horsen they defeated ten thousand horsen.
If that is not shocking, what else could be conspired shocking in this world?
And the most terrifying part of this, was that no one even suspected that Aeryon would attack Wustkazan.
Even Wustkazan tribe itself did not even suspect such a thing >> CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Keikokumars I have published two books in Amazon KDP.
