50: The Effect of Skills 50: The Effect of Skills Aeryon gritted his teeth, his face contorting with the sheer intensity of the ordeal, as he battled to find a semblance of solace amidst the overwhelming suffering.

For agonizing monts that stretched into eternity, the relentless waves of tornt crashed upon him, leaving him teetering on the precipice of endurance.

His physical strength is now quite overwhelming.

Aeryon choose to use all of his attribute points to one attribute.

But then Aeryon quickly find what is wrong.

“Hah, hah” he pants again.

He felt tiredness.

” I forget” he thought to himself.

While his strength is now quite overwhelming, his endurance is still in the level of four points.

“There is connection between the two attributes” thought to himself Even if he has great power, he needs to have enough stamina to do it.

And now, there is an imbalance in his body His strength has reached a powerful level.

But his endurance still stays at that sa level.

There is the Active skill and the Passive skill His active skill is [Mighty Strike] [Unbreakable] and [Second Breath] As for his passive skill, he has [Swordsmanship] [Archery] [Horsemanship] and [Stealth] All of his skill, whether it is passive or active are all in the Beginner level.

Aeryon had found out the ranks of the skill There are five ranks of skill proficiency.

There is the Beginner level.

The Apprentice level.

The Expert level.

The Master level and then the last one is the Grandmaster level.

Passive skill could not be upgraded using skill points but active skill could.

“If it, could I want to level up my Archery abilities” One thing that Aeryon had found out, Passive skill is more general and broader.

Take for example his Swordsmanship skill.

Swordsmanship has many techniques and schools of swords.

In other words, the passive skill is like a normal skill.

A broad umbrella skill and below it is the specialization of said skill.

For example, swordsmanship if one master it, there might be so sword skill like Quick Draw, of Slash skills.

The sa for Archery.

There might be a skill for archery where he could use arrows to always get precise shot At least this is his current understanding of the skills.

Like the attribute points, he has seven skill points.

“If only one point could be used to level up all skill up one rank, I would easily be able to rank up one of my skill to grandmaster level” Aeryon had tinker a bit on his system even when he was busy looking over his tribe and delegating task.

So, he found out that each points required to move up a rank for a skill differs from one another.

For [Mighty Strike] to reach the Apprentice level, it requires ten skill points.

And for [Unbreakable] skill, it took nine.

It is different for each skill.

Aeryon shakes his head “However, I want to confirm sothing” he muttered to himself.

He opens his status window and then look at the Mighty Strike skill.

There is a smile on his face.

“How much is needed to rank up Mighty Strike to Apprentice rank?” the mont he asks this question in his mind, the information stread into his mind and there is a smile on his face “Just like I thought” he muttered to himself Now, the points needed is only three points.

“I was right” he muttered to himself with a little smug smile on the cor of his mouth [This skill is related to strength attribute.

The higher the level of the strength, the more powerful this skill becos] That is one of the description of this skill.

So, he deduces that if the stats of the Strength attribute affected the power of this skill, it might also affect the points needed for this skill So, he raises his strength and now that he checks again, the skill points requirent to rank up this skill had decreased “Rank up the skill” three points of the skill points was deducted and then he saw that the rank of the skill had changed to Apprentice level When he checks the description, it also changes ______________________ [Mighty Strike] [Apprentice] It is a skill derived from the Strength attribute.

With this skill, your lee attack beco much more powerful.

With this skill you can deal significantly more damage to enemies, allowing you to take down foes with fewer hits.

If you use hand-to-hand combat or lee weapons, such as swords or hamrs, your strike would beco more powerful, adding half the original strength to your strike The Mighty Strike skill can be upgraded as the host increase the proficiency of this skill, increasing the damage dealt even further.

You now posses great powerful strike.

With this skill, the host can beco a formidable warrior, able to defeat even the toughest enemies with ease.

Aeryon looked at the description and nodded The change is that now his punch has piercing effect.

Aeryon then check how much point needed if he wanted to rank up [Mighty Strike] to the Expert rank.

The information stread into his mind and he sighed The points needed would be around forty points “That is a lot of points” he thought to himself.

But he is not that frustrated about it.

Maybe, if he added more points to strength, later the points requirents would decrease just like it decreases this ti.

“I don’t know how the system give evaluation for skills but at least this let gauge the level of the power of that skill if its an attacking skill” When he reached eleven point of strength, the Might Strike skill point needed to rank it up decreased because his base strength is already enough that even without the skill, his strike is mighty enough He thinks of it simply like this because this system as of now is very simple He looks at his other skill.

[Unbreakable] skill is a powerful skill but he did not have enough point to rank it up before.

Like the [Mighty Strike] skill [Unbreakable] skill is related to strength He now still has four skill points.
