And this common occurrence of tribe leaders being assassinated is also thanks to the ever-shifting loyalty and the conflicting interest at play with tribal politics of the Steppe

There are many such cases.

One example was the tribe of Rosugai

But Aeryon made sure to know them and made sure that the people know who they are working for and who gives them their food and their wealth.

They are distinct from the regular army and would not go to battle with them, instead staying back on guard duty and no one else could order them other than the Khan
