There is no what if.

Yet, people keep thinking about it. And thinking about it only invite regrets

Chadha dies and with it doubt would spread.

The reason the alliance stand strong has always been because of Chadha acting as the diator between the Ultar and Nergui.

Would Chadha want a better ally?

He probably would have.

But even he could only work what he has got.

The only two tribes that could have followed him waws the Nergui and Ultar and only because they are all related by marriage that they could trust each other.

The other two could not trust each other.

And once doubt is sowed, there is no way to defeat a united army under the Khan.

The Khan would take the west, and all the wise n have predicted this the mont Chadha died.

The sa wise n who would have advised to fight for the west was also the sa wise n who could see that the mont Chadha died, the alliance died with him

Chadha is the glue of that alliance.

Without him, there is no one else to coordinate. And coordination is the Khan greatest strength.

The Aoshi tribe could not change what is happening in the west. They did not even have the power to enter this battle.

All they could do is respond to these changes. And the Aoshi tribes believe that even if the Khan could quickly subdue the west, he would still take ti.

If he wanted to consolidate his rule, he would have to take ti.

Cha Ner Ul Alliance, even if their main force lost, would still have resistance. This is simply common sense. Large tribes have their own reliance and this is the other tribes and clans that depends on them

If Chagai falls, the tribes and clans that depends on them would either surrender with them or choose to break out.

These kind of tribes are harder to eliminate. This is because they could simply ride to a different part of the region of the Steppe either to start again or to fight back.

It is the reason why certain tribes, even though they were defeated in one region could still survive in different parts of the Steppe.

Utgard tribe is an example of this.

These small tribes and clans are rarely thought to be decisive factor in victory or loss but they did affect other things.

Aeryon would need ti to consolidate his position in the west and it would take ti for him to distribute the rewards, gives the titles and all of this thing.

But....what if?

What if Aeryon did not choose to consolidate?

What if he did not choose to delay?

What if he felt that the opportunity was there and continue attacking north?

Aoshi tribe did not know much about the Khan but they do know he is fond of surprise attack and is very adept at fast and swift attack

Right now, all the tribes of the Southern Great Steppe are trying to survive. So people already made their decision, so are still hesitating.

Those who make decisive action does not necessarily an they would choose the right decision. Those who hesitates did not an they make the wrong decision.

Because, this is a decision that would either make or break their tribe.

Aeryon attack toward the west attacking the Cha Ner Ul Alliance has now involves all the tribes in the Southern Great Steppe.

Before, he could simply be called a great chief that conquered many tribes and clans. Even though the power is overwhelming, it is not the first ti that the Steppe had seen such a ruler.

But if Aeryon managed to take all the forces of the Chagai, Nergui and Ultar tribe under his command, this is no longer just a simple chief.

This is an overlord that rules half the Southern Great Steppe

Now, it is confird that the west would fall. The only question is when.

And then the aftermath....that is the important thing for the Aoshi tribe right now.

once the west would fall the other part of the Southern Great Steppe...what would happen to it?

What about the other tribe in the west? Or more specifically the western border tribes? The western border tribes are honoured greatly

But old customs....are not forever.

Before they have never been such a person.

In the tis of the ancient empires of the Steppe, is there such a thing called the western border tribes?

There is not.

The reason is simple.

The western border tribes were created as a response to the fact that the western border of the Great Steppe is always attacked by the empires around them

During the ti of the empire of the Steppe, the western border has no threats and the west is just the west

The tribes there fight each other and make peace with each other but there were no such thing as western border tribes honoured above all each other.

And these western border tribes never had such unity.

The unity that they have now is forged after shared sufferings.

Since the Central Steppe tribes rarely helps them, the tribes on the western border had no choice but to band together and created camaraderie with each other.

But once Aeryon took half of the Southern Great Steppe, even if all the western border tribes in Southern Great Steppe wanted to attack Brolgadhr tribe....could they win?

At that ti, not only they have to face the already disciplined army of the Khan, they also have to face the fact that the numbers and the resources the Khan could employ against them is nurous

The Khan did not even need to move his personal guards or his main force.

Not to ntion there is many sches of sowing discords that could still be applied.

Even if there is no discord, there would be disagreent on how certain battle should be fought when it cos to the western tribes.

Before it was Bolghar that could hold the reins and make everyone convinced. But now who could hold the reins and who should be the leader? The Khagai? The Khagai just a few months ago was the sa as them, subservient to the Bolghar during expedition to the west.

How could anyone listen to the Khagai tribe words?

But if they do not listen, then how could they coordinate the attack?

But even then, the Khan is not a foreign enemy. How could it convince the other western tribes on the border of the Western and Northern Steppe?

They could not.

Then there are surely people who do not want to wage such a fight and there would be people who wanted to surrender. Just thinking about it makes one dizzy with all the possibilities of things that could happen.

The western border tribes once they leave their area would they not worry that their tribes would be ravaged by the empire and the kingdoms on the west?

The western border tribes have influence....but do they not have weaknesses?

There is no tribe without weaknesses. Even more so for the western border tribes, a collation that is created because of the circumstances.

There are feuds between the western border tribes and the Western Zhou. This feud is not born in a day.

Accumulated for hundreds of years. Who started it first? Who started the conflict? Who begins the feud?

These question has been an eternal mystery.

Because these are feuds that have started since the days of Gods and Heroes, of demons and deities

The western border tribes said it was the Zhou that started it first, massacring the people of the Steppe on the western border that lives in hills and mountains. The Zhou said that the Steppe people ca and plunder and rob them of their grain and burn their cities and massacre their people. Which one is right?

The one who won beco the one who is right. In argunt, those who wins is right. In truth, truth is truth.

This is the reasons why the western border tribe even with great soldiers and great warriors could never expand inward into the Steppe.

Because they created such deadly feuds, they could not leave from their borders. Once they leave, what if Aeryon decided to ally with the Western Zhou?

Aeryon is a recent phenonon.

This phenonon of western border tribes unable to expand outwards has been a constant the in the current situation of the western border tribe defending the western borders

Before, if any western border tribes to expand inwards into the Steppe, any chief with a brain in their head would contact the princes , kings or emperors near the Western Zhou borders.

Near the walls of the Western Zhou, there is mountains and hills.

And these mountains and hills also have bandit kings, mountain kings and rulers and there are even kingdoms deep in the mountains and even on top of the mountains.

Many of these are in allied relationship with Western Zhou but they themselves have armies and quite independent.

Because of Western Zhou size, and the threat they have from the Yan dynasty, they never eradicate these kings with different nas

The chief of any tribe that resides in the inland of the Steppe if they are attacked by the Western border tribes that have the ambition to expand inwards would always contact these rulers of the western side to attack the western border tribes if such a thing happens.

Interest is paramount.
