80: Deceived 80: Deceived Aeryon walk while looking around and before he knows it, he arrived at Waqu tent.

He didn’t have to ask to know that this is the tent of garron.

The exterior of Garron’s tent reflects the simplicity and functionality of the nomadic lifestyle.

It stands proudly amidst the open plains, its structure sturdy and resilient against the elents.

The tent is fashioned from thick, weathered hides, expertly stitched together with strong cords, forming a protective barrier against the outside world.

The hides that encase the tent are a blend of earthy tones, ranging from deep browns to lighter shades of tan, lding seamlessly with the natural surroundings.

The hides bear the marks of wear and travel, displaying the stories of previous journeys and encounters etched into their surface.

At the top of the tent, a sturdy central pole rises tall, supporting the conical shape and providing stability.

Its weathered wood speaks of countless seasons endured and nurous campsites assembled.

From this central pole, smaller wooden beams extend outward, providing additional structural support to the tent’s fra.

The entrance to the tent is adorned with a simple yet elegant fabric flap, offering a glimpse into the inner sanctum.

As Aeryon approaches, the flap gently sways in the breeze, inviting him to step inside and partake in the important eting that awaits within.

He calmly sat down and propped his back on a pole on the side of the room.

He looks up at the high ceiling of the tent In one corner of the partition ca a rustling sound as a man stood up.

Garron stepped out from the partition and he then sat in a higher position than Aeryon.

And then he looked at Aeryon and he was shocked.

Long gone the appearance of the fool but now the appearance of a refined man of the Steppe.

Aeryon himself is still young.

While he did not look boyish like the people of Yan, there is a certain ruggedness elegance that he emanated.

One might even say he overdressed.

But the way he dresses actually put Garron in a difficult situation.

Garron’s initial assumption that Aeryon would appear eccentric in his tent has been overturned.

Instead, it is Garron himself who feels underdressed and embarrassed in comparison.

While there may not be strict rules regarding attire in the Steppe, the choice of clothing and the ability to accessorize and match garnts still serves as a ans of distinguishing one chief from another.

Garron realizes that his lack of attention to his own attire has inadvertently placed him in a disadvantageous position.

He understands that clothing and accessories can be used as a way to showcase one’s status and differentiate oneself from others.

By neglecting these aspects, Garron has inadvertently allowed Aeryon to gain the upper hand in terms of appearance and presentation.

He was reminded of his father Garron late father, influenced by the culture of Ashran and the people of Roma, understood the importance of wearing fine garnts when eting other chiefs.

This outward display of refinent elevated his status, commanded respect, and left a lasting impression.

However, his father also recognizes the impracticality of ostentatious attire on the battlefield.

Such conduct would be ridiculed, and his father even reprimanded a high-ranking clan mber for attempting to wear extravagant clothes during a battle.

In that context, flashy clothing not only creates a sense of differentiation and privilege but also diminishes the morale of fellow clansn and warriors.

But n formal etings between chiefs, particularly in peaceful settings, the way one dresses can make a powerful impression and create an aura of invincibility that subdues rivals.

Garron had to take a second look before he frowned.

His mind began to churns out ideas again.

And there is an unnatural smile on his face but he quickly restrains that smile.

That kind of smile is awkward.

Aeryon chuckles and pretended not to notice, or rather, he pretended to be indifferent as he toyed with his sword.

Was he pretended not to notice Garron unnatural smile or was he pretended to not notice that Garron sit himself higher than him?

Garron glances sideways.

There is no provision on the ordinance for fathers-in-law to speak with their son-in-law.

He held himself silent.

And he himself did not know what Aeryon had done and how his evaluation about Aeryon is wrong Garron did not know what happened outside.

Waqu also entered the tent after Aeryon.

And seeing Garron sitting on his seat, not knowing anything, he wanted to say sothing But he could not anything without revealing that they had underestimated Aeryon and even spies on him before There is a tense atmosphere in the tent Garron eyebrows is pierced like a needle looking at Aeryon Even though he did not know what had happened outside, he is slowly feeling like he had made a mistake And his mind is thinking of counterasure Waqu could feel the atmosphere and he could not resist the tension longer, close himself to Aeryon and said with a whispering voice “The chief who sits over there is Chief Garron.

Will Chief Aeryon address him?” Aeryon said, “Is that so?” he chuckles Waqu clearly hear the mocking tone in those words Aeryon then pulled his back off the pillar and sat up straight.

He bowed slightly, raise his head, put his hand on his heart and said, “I am Aeryon Son of Rakarys.

We have t before and we are happy to et you again now that we are about to be united as a family” Hearing this Garron laughed and nodded in satisfaction The tense atmosphere was broken and along with the change of attitude and greeting of Aeryon, Garron attitude was softened.

“We’ve been expecting this encounter.

We are happy that long-delayed desires can co true.” “We are happy to have a father-in-law who can be a place to learn.

After all, today is a blessed day.

We hope at the next eting I can show the face of a grandchild.” “With pleasure.” Garron looked satisfied.

Waqu looked at this scene and he sighed with relief.

Waqu called upon the servants to co in and pour in Ayrag on the jade cup and the father-in-law and son-in-law raised the glass while praising each other.

The rigid atmosphere at the beginning of the eting now turned llow … Half an hours had passed by since Aeryon is in the tent They talked a few empty words and ask each other what is happening and then suddenly Aeryon said.

“Ah, I rember again!” Aeryon suddenly said, as if sothing new had crossed his mind.

“My father-in-law.

On the way here, I t a really strange man.” Hmm?

“Strange how?” “Hmm, he an old man, and he’s peeking at from the flaps of the curtain of the commoners tent.

Although this is the first ti I t my father-in-law, when I looked at father-in-law, hm ….

Father-in-law very similar to that person.

Is not this so strange?” Aeryon then laughed Garron paused as if just swallowing a bitter drink.

The guards of Garron that are inside and near the tent are imdiately bathed in sweat.

Garron does not know but the guards outside could see a thousand horse riders in the distance, watching in silence at their tent.

Garron look at Aeryon and Aeryon look at him.

There is a confident smile on Aeryon face.

And Garron knows that he had been plotted against.

[From this point, it is from Aeryon perspective] Aeryon had from the very beginning that when Garron set up camp far away from the Brolgadhr settlent, suspected that Garron would want to get a good look at him and would spy on him before he t him.

Of course, this is Aeryon speculation and he could not be sure.

But he suspected such act because he had learned that while Garron, this person who is called the Viper of Steppe is very cunning, he is also very cautious.

And this template of a character of a man, reminded Aeryon of soone in his own world history And so, he crafted a plan.

He dressed himself like a slovenly fool, lolling on his horse with a ssy hair, with amulets dangling from his belt and leopard and tiger skins tossed over his saddle.

At that ti, Garron must have smirked to himself.

There’d be no problems with this one.

He was clearly an idiot.

And that was just his guess but when he looks around when he was on horseback, he did see soone looking at him from the cor of a small flap of a hastily built tent.

If it’s a warrior, there is no need to look at him so secretly.

But there is always a chance that it is a warrior that wanted to evaluate him.

So, he ordered a scout to pay attention to that tent when he was I the procession.

And just as he suspected when he passes that area, that small tent was abandoned with the two people coming out of the tent rides their horse toward the direction of Garron tent.

He was confident then that the two n is Garron and soone else.

When he ca to the encampnt and saw how Waqu look at him, all astonished, he confird in his heart that the person must be Waqu, the sworn brother of Chief Garron.

Before, he arrived, he had already changed his clothes so when he reappeared, he was no longer a carefree youth but a stern-faced tribal chief And now even as they drink and appears to be in good relations with each other, Aeryon could tell that Garron had understood what he had done.

Aeryon has his own thoughts and Garron also had his own thoughts.

He sighed inwardly even as he appears to be smiling.

When he saw Aeryon enter into his tent, wearing different clothes and a papering so refined and elegant, he had realised that Aeryon had calculated that it was to his advantage to play the fool.

Given that his daughter is basically a hostage in Aeryon tribe, he gave up all thoughts of attacking Brolgadhr for the foreseeable future >> CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Keikokumars Your gift is the motivation for my creation.
