The crowd leaned forward, holding their breath. Alex knelt on the ground, his sword barely supporting him. His chest heaved, his body trembling as the poison coursed through his veins. "Unbelievable! Ladies and gentlen, Alex has done it! Against all odds, Alex erges victorious!"
I couldn't help but clap. "Damn, he really pulled it off."
Seraphine exhaled, a mixture of relief and awe on her face. "That was… way too close. Rui was strong, but Alex… he's sothing else."
Alex knelt on the ground, his body trembling from exhaustion. His sword clattered to the ground as he braced himself with one hand.
