The night sky stretched vast above the island, a glittering canopy of stars shimring under the moon's pale glow, casting a silver sheen across the restless ocean below.

I stepped out of the rubble where I'd crashed, brushing dust off my black coat, my dark aura pulsing stronger as I clapped my hands slowly, my smirk sharp and unshaken.

"I must admit, that was a good punch," I said, my voice calm but taunting as I walked forward, my boots crunching on broken concrete.

I raised one hand, holding my index finger and thumb close together in a teasing gesture. "Stung a bit."

Alaric's red eyes narrowed, a low *hmmph* escaping him as he stood straight, his red aura flaring, tendrils curling around his body. "Keep fooling around," he growled, his voice low and dangerous, "and you'll be the only one paying the price."

I grinned, bending my knees mid-air, my black aura surging, its purple accents glowing like embers.

"We'll see about that," I said, my voice sharp with confidence. In a blur of motion, I dashed toward him, my fist cocked back, my aura trailing like a dark cot.

*BOOM!* Our fists collided, the shockwave rippling through the air, shaking the rooftop and sending debris scattering. Alaric countered with a straight punch, and I blocked it with my forearm, another *BOOM* echoing as our auras clashed, sparks flying where black t red.

What started as a single exchange exploded into a frenzy of rapid-fire punches and kicks, our bodies moving like blurs mid-air.

We blocked, dodged, and struck with all four limbs, our movents a chaotic dance of power. My black boots swung in arcs, his red-glowing fists sliced through the air, each collision sending a deafening *BOOM* that shook the island below.

We crashed into buildings, their concrete walls cracking under our impact, then ricocheted into a nearby park, splintering trees, before plunging into the shallow waters of the shore, sending waves crashing. Each clash sent shockwaves rippling outward, the air humming with invisible energy as our auras swirled around us, black and red entwining like a storm of fire and shadow.

Below, the crowd on the beach gasped, their cheers faltering as they struggled to follow our movents. A young woman in a sundress, clutching her phone, squinted up at the sky. "Ahhh..I can't see anything!" she whispered, her voice tinged with awe. "They're just too fast!"

A guy next to her, his eyes wide, nodded. "They're in one spot, then—bam!—sowhere else in an instant," he said, his voice thick with excitent as he pointed at the streaks of black and red light flashing across the sky. "Now they are there look!"

An adult woman, her hair tied back in a scarf, clasped her hands together. "Let's pray Zero wins," she said, her voice steady but urgent. "What do you an win? He will win! For sure!" The woman on her side said and then the crowd around her nodded, their cheers swelling again—"Zero! Zero! Zero!"—their voices a rhythmic roar echoing across the island.

Our battle raged like a tempest, our seemingly endless stamina driving us to chase each other through the sky, trading blows in a whirlwind of punches and kicks. *BOOM* after *BOOM* echoed as our fists and feet collided, sending shockwaves rippling across the island, shaking palm trees and stirring the ocean's waves.

I dodged a blazing red punch from Alaric, his aura crackling with heat, and countered with a swift kick from my left leg, aiming for his hand.

The strike caught him off-balance, his arm twisting awkwardly as he stumbled mid-air.

"Heh," I smirked, seizing the mont. I spun on my heels, my black boot swinging in a perfect arc toward his face. "Got you Fucker!" I yelled out.

*THUD!* My leg connected with a bone-rattling impact, all my force behind it, sending Alaric hurtling downward.

*BOOM!* His body slamd into the ground below, shattering the concrete into a small crater, debris exploding outward in a cloud of dust and rubble.

The shockwave rolled across the island, a gust of force that shook the crowd and sent waves crashing against the shore.

The crowd on the beach gasped, their cheers faltering as they tried to process the chaos. "Arghhh… what just happened?" a woman in a sundress cried, shielding her face from the flying dust, her eyes wide with shock.

A guy next to her, clutching a beer, squinted through the haze. "I think Zero just kicked him," he said, his voice thick with awe. "That was brutal!"

Another onlooker, a teenager with a phone raised to record, shook his head. "It happened too fast," he said, his voice tinged with frustration. "I couldn't see anything!"

I landed lightly on the edge of the crater, my black coat settling around as the dust began to clear, my dark aura pulsing steadily. I stepped closer, my boots crunching on broken concrete, my smirk sharp as I peered into the haze.

"Oi, alien," I said, my voice loud and taunting. "Can we speed this up a bit? It's getting boring now." I said shrugging and smirking. "You say a lot of things but always ends up slamd on the ground."

The crowd's cheers swelled again—"Zero! Zero! Zero!"—their voices echoing across the island, their faith fueling my resolve. But as the dust settled, sothing felt off.

In the center of the crater, Alaric's body lay still, but then his eyes snapped open, glowing a bright, nacing red that cut through the haze like twin beacons. The energy, the vibe around Alaric suddenly changed as if getting charged by so otherworldly aura.

I froze, my boots rooted to the ground, my smirk faltering slowlg as I watched, waiting to see what he'd do next.

The night sky crackled with tension, my black aura pulsing stronger as Alaric's red glow intensified, the air humming with the promise of another clash. The island buzzed with excitent, the crowd's cheers roaring louder, their phones flashing as they recorded the battle.
