At this mont, Tyler was going through an agonizing process of refining the blood several tis above his level.
This wasn’t just a drop of blood. It was a vast sea of energy that could easily explode his body into smithereens.
But Hongsu knew this and still gave it to him for a reason.
That reason was his Harmony of Nine Phoenixes Technique.
With it, he was able to refine so much energy into mana and use the remaining energy to transform his bone marrow.
Fortunately, his comprehension had increased; otherwise, he wouldn’t have been able to use two different techniques at the sa ti.
Both techniques were quite similar to each other, except one was for mana cultivation while the other was for body cultivation.
Both refined a different kind of energy.
At this mont, Tyler realized that despite not using yin-yang energy, his mana’s quality was still very high.
Though not comparable to the mana he refined while dual cultivating, it was still comparable to the mana he refined using Yin Essence Stone.
The process turned painful when he realized that despite refining so much energy, it still had a lot of energy left.
And most of it was hot Yang energy. If he had Yang Physique, this wouldn’t have been painful, but he didn’t.
So, he could only bear the pain and continue the process of refinent.
As his mana circuit began filling up, his cultivation also rose. But compared to that, he was more curious about his body cultivation.
The bone was being transford by the dragon energy, and he was trying to comprehend the dragon aura through it.
Understanding pride wasn’t hard, but what about fire?
Pride was an emotion he could generate, but fire was an intangible energy that could be seen and used.
How was he supposed to create fire with his thoughts?
That was the problem of comprehension. It wasn’t just understanding a certain thing but also recreating it.
Fortunately, his comprehension had increased imnsely. With just his thought, he could create the fiery heat.
Then, he used the mana as a fuel and sucked in air into his body, recreating the fire inside his body.
When the fire was lit, it almost burned his bone marrow. But under the domineering effects of the Dragon Energy, the bone marrow repaired itself.
Once the fire was created, Tyler started conveying a new mana into the bone marrow, a portion of the mana contained his emotions, mainly pride.
Throughout the process, Tyler realized that whether it was Dragon Aura, Dragon Energy, or Mana, they were all a kind of energy stemming from spirit energy.
This wasn’t a big revelation, but this made Tyler realize the cultivation was mainly about using spirit energy in various ways.
One of the main ways was extracting its life force to improve their lifespan.
When that mana rged with the fire, it instantly extinguished the flas, but Tyler didn’t panic.
Instead, he kept revolving that portion of the mana around his bone marrow until he felt a slight transformation in that mana.
When that mana was fully absorbed by the bone marrow, Tyler produced another portion of it.
This ti, it was fairly similar to the energy from that blood. It only lacked the imnse dragon energy.
Of course, he understood why.
This was Dragon Aura, but the blood of the True Dragon not only contained Dragon Aura but also Dragon Energy.
Upon understanding Dragon Aura, Tyler began to focus more on the transformation of his bone marrow.
Once this process was finished, he would have fulfilled all of the conditions for practicing the True Dragon Transformation Technique.
But soon, he realized why Hongsu said he could simply practice to the second level with his blood.
That’s because the first level included the transformation of his bones and the replacent of all of his blood with dragon blood.
Or rather, producing a similar amount to replace it. That kind of condition was too easy for him.
With his cultivation reaching the fourth level and moving towards the fifth level, he still had an enormous amount of energy left.
Even with a vast portion of that mana being absorbed by the Azure Fla Seed, it still had enough energy to produce more mana.
So, without much hesitation, he continued tempering his bone marrow until its transformation was complete.
Throughout the process, he didn’t know how much ti had passed.
Upon completing its transformation, his bone marrow started absorbing a huge amount of energy to produce dragon blood.
Once this blood was produced, he started using it to replace the blood that had reached its lifespan.
Normal human blood only has a lifespan of four months, so only a small percentage of his blood was old.
He couldn’t replace all of his blood, so what he started doing was tempering his cells with his own blood.
This was the body tempering process written in this technique. Unfortunately, his own blood didn’t have that much effect.
Once most of the life force was absorbed into the cells, his blood slowly turned black and started pouring out of his body like impurities.
As he lost his blood, he imdiately started replacing it with his dragon blood. When he reached around two-thirds, he faced another problem.
If he used this blood to temper his cells, he would improve his Yang Essence. This was his goal all along.
But if he did that, he wouldn’t have enough energy to reach the second level.
After all, the second level required him to complete the first level, and to complete the first level, he needed to produce one-third more dragon blood.
At this mont, his cultivation had increased from fourth to fifth level, and it was progressing towards the sixth level.
So, his main cultivation was sure to reach the sixth level, but his body cultivation needed more energy.
’Energy!’
Suddenly, he snapped open his eyes and looked at the burning orange fla in front of him.
Without much hesitation, he released his mana to absorb the fla into his chest.
When he got closer to this fla, he felt an intense pain. Although the pain was there, the heat wasn’t affecting his physical body.
At this mont, he realized he was a bit stupid, trying to absorb the fla like True Dragon Fla.
If Hongsu hadn’t granted him physical protection, his entire body would’ve been burned to a crisp.
"Ahhhh!"
Even so, the pain he felt in his soul was excruciating. He could barely keep his mind straight to start the Fla Devouring Technique.
With the help of this technique, his mana circuit began to absorb the fla into itself.
At this mont, he realized why this technique, despite being so amazing, wasn’t sought after by many powerful people.
What kind of maniac would absorb such a domineering fla into his mana circuit?
This was basically the lifeline of a cultivator. If there was a small mistake, it would literally destroy their future mana pool.
Of course, this technique had a simple thod to redy this situation. He could simply absorb a rather simple and low-quality fla.
This way, his technique would produce a protective layer around his mana circuit and his body to face future flas.
And more importantly, this technique would also improve its effectiveness the more flas the user absorbed.
It was essentially an ever-evolving technique, but despite that, it wasn’t exactly that useful in the mortal realm.
Hongsu also noticed this technique and simply chose to ignore it.
While this technique had a huge advantage with its ever-evolving nature, one had to be extrely lucky and brave enough to gather several flas.
Tyler was facing this situation firsthand. Despite devouring the True Dragon Fla and making it his own, the technique had only evolved three grades.
Previously, this technique was only the E-Grade Technique.
But after devouring True Dragon Fla, it only reached B-Grade. This was a huge problem.
Why?
Because True Dragon Fla was out of this world. It belonged to a whole new level above the mortal plane.
In other words, this fla only improved his technique from Mortal Grade Low-Tier to Mortal Grade Middle-Tier.
Not even a jump from Low to High Tier.
That’s exactly the reason why when Hongsu saw this technique, he beca curious before realizing its true problem.
If he wanted to get this, he could ask for it in exchange for resources, but he chose to ignore it.
Simply because, without enormous luck, it was impossible to raise this technique to Heaven Grade.
But he also acknowledged Tyler’s luck.
Because Tyler was only at the Mana Condensation Realm, he already had two flas in his hand.
The imnse energy from the True Dragon Fla not only upgraded his technique but also sprouted the Azure Fla from its seed.
When the second fla appeared in his mana circuit, Tyler ran the Fla Devouring Technique to its fullest and absorbed the Azure Fla.
Without the need for mana to be absorbed by the seed, his cultivation began improving rapidly.
Sixth Level, Breakthrough!
