The three of them let settle into my new ho after the tour, giving ti to put away my things.
I was still a little in shock at my sudden change of living conditions where I went from living in a single room in a household of four to having a three story penthouse all to myself.
I set down my bags in the master bedroom and started hanging up my clothes in the walk-in wardrobe, only to realise that all the clothes I owned barely even took up a fraction of the space that was inside there.
I think even if my sister were to put all her clothes in here, there would still be space to spare as well.
Once I was unpacked, I decided to first pay the ditation room a visit just to see if there was any different ditating in there as compared to the other places.
When I stepped inside, I found a sense of serenity wash over and I’m pretty sure I wasn’t imagining it... But it felt like I was being embraced by so kind of energy wrapping around like a blanket.
There was a large cushion placed in the centre of the room which was obviously ant for to ditate on.
I stalled over to it, feeling myself relaxing more as I got closer to the centre of the room.
I wondered if there was sothing in the air that was causing that but my instincts were telling my that it was just the design of the room that was causing this and nothing else.
Maylene did tell that they followed so kind of spiritual guide they found online as reference to design this room so maybe that was the reason?
Figuring that it did not matter either way, I went ahead to sit down on the cushion and let myself sink into my usual trance.
Almost instantly, I found myself sitting underneath the tree in my illusory realm, with the tree having grown noticeably bigger once again.
In fact, everything around had grown bigger and even the house behind the tree had turned from a single story building to a two story building.
When I flew up to get a bird’s eye view of the place, I also found the rock outside the walls had ’grown’ bigger too, where more of the rock jutted out of the ground as compared to before.
When I flew up to the top of the tree, the gourd that I had found growing had also increased in size albeit just slightly.
Seeing that there were no other changes aside from that, I returned to the bottom of the tree and started to absorb the QI energy from the air as usual.
Almost instantly, I realised that the process was way easier than before and the amount I was absorbing was also more than normal.
Wait... Could it be that... The objects and layout of the objects around would also affect this?
In other words... Formations matter to ?
Hmm... I wonder... Could I possibly make a formation? But where would I even start?
Right as that idea ca to mind, the courtyard around started to glow, prompting to sink into a defensive stance.
But... Nothing else happened.
You can’t bla ! The last ti sothing weird like this happened in here, it was to send lightning striking down at !
Not that it hurt but that’s beside the point.
When I realised that there was no lightning coming down at this ti, I relaxed to see what was going on.
I then realised that it was the objects around the courtyard that were glowing which included the tree, the soil, the building, the walls and even the stone outside the walls.
Hmm... This happened after I thought about formations so... Could this be a hint or sothing about what a formation looked like? Maybe it’s telling that these objects being located where they were was not a coincidence?
If I think about it... The tree would represent ’wood’... The soil would obviously be ’earth’... The rock outside would be ’stone’... And I’m not too sure about the building itself but maybe it’s ’tal’ or sothing else? Or ’life’ because it’s a house ant for soone to live in?
Hmm... Wait a minute... If I rember correctly, in Chinese culture, there should only be five elents... Naly wood, fire, earth, tal and water...
I don’t see fire and water anywhere? Unless... The house is supposed to be one of them instead... Maybe ’fire’ since there’s the kitchen for the building? But there’s also water and I don’t see anything else that might be water...
Unless I’m looking at things completely incorrectly and this isn’t just the five elents?
But what else could this be?
It can’t be telling to make my own formation, can it?
Oh wait... There’s still the gourd on the tree, that might be the water I was missing.
So if the house is ’fire’ and the gourd is ’water’... The rock outside should be ’tal’ in that case? That would fulfil the five elents that I was thinking about.
The mont I ca to that conclusion, Chinese characters suddenly appeared on each of the things I had identified as that elent.
All of them then floated over to and arranged themselves into a line, floating just within arm’s length of .
They pulsated once, as though greeting .
I blinked at them, wondering what they wanted from before reaching out my hand to touch the character for ’fire’.
The word glowed and an orange fla appeared above the character before a diagram appeared around the character like it was creating so kind of formation.
Suddenly, a stream of knowledge flowed into .
Fire... Passion, joy, propriety, the heart, the small intestines, the sense of taste, scorched sll, youth and the sumr solstice.
All that information flowed into my head and I suddenly knew where and what to do with this elent.
I went ahead to touch the other characters in order and they floated into place to form a formation circle with runes and lines connecting between them.
More of the knowledge for each of the characters flowed into and the aning of this specific formation beca clear to .
If I were to rearrange them like this...
I reached out my hands and moved the words around, adding more characters to the formation and making it bigger in size.
Once I was done, I poured in my life energy into the formation and the entire circle lit up with blinding light.
The floating diagram disappeared from in front of , only to reappear as a giant formation pattern on the ground beneath my feet.
Not only that, the entire courtyard started to shift as well.
The tree that had been in the centre moved further towards the end of the courtyard and the space expanded in size with being in the centre.
Even though the rock was still hidden by the wall, I also knew that it was shifting its position to match the formation I had created.
Right as everything moved into place, the ground glowed and the giant characters of the elents appeared in the air above each of the main locations.
I felt the air shift and it felt like a torrent of energy had filled the air.
No... It’s more like the energy that was already here was amplified and sohow beca dense.
Part of it flowed back into and I found myself floating up into the air.
Looking down, I found flakes of my skin drifting away to leave a more clear and unblemished skin underneath.
I also felt that sa energy fill my body, almost like there was liquid energy flowing through my veins.
I felt like sothing was stuck in my throat and I coughed, expunging a black plu of smoke out from .
I sucked in another breath and my body felt like it was revitalised with energy and a lid was removed from my mind.
Unlike the previous ti where things looked clearer to , I actually understood what I was seeing and what the aning of things were around .
In fact...
I blinked and brought myself out of the illusory space to return to the real world again.
I looked around the ditation room and found all the faults in it in an instant.
Not only that, I could even feel the faults in the rest of the penthouse as well.
I spun my hands in front of and an empty formation appeared, waiting for to fill it.
With a quick wave of my hand, the spaces were filled in and I activated it, causing the room to shift and change according to my will.
Once everything was in place, the entire place felt... Right. Like the place was perfectly fulfilling its purpose now.
Hmmm... Sorry Maylene, but I’m going to need to renovate this place a bit.
