Owwww… My head…
It feels like sothing hit across the side of the head while I was unconscious. Did I drink too much or sothing?
That was when I rembered what happened before I blacked out.
Soone walked into and I felt a prick on my arm and then I lost consciousness right after that.
Damn… Did I get kidnapped? This is embarrassing…
But why though? And who? Unless this was a completely random kidnapping and I was just exceptionally unlucky…
I tried to open my eyes but all I saw was blackness.
At first I thought that I was being blindfolded until I got jostled around and I hit myself against sothing solid.
Ah… No wonder my hands and feet weren't tied up… Seems like I've been put in so kind of box and they were transporting sowhere at the mont.
I pressed my ear against the wall of the box to try and hear what might be happening outside.
There was a low hum and I felt the walls vibrate slightly, aning my captors must be transporting using a cargo drone or sothing.
Then there ca so voices and I strained to hear what they were saying.
"How long has it been?"
"Since we got her? Oh… Shit. Four hours."
"Fucking assholes. I'm gonna ask them for extra pay for making us wait this long."
"Well, I better give her another dose then."
I tensed up, knowing that they were talking about .
My suspicions were confird when the box I was in jolted upwards as an indication of it coming to a stop.
I quickly patted my sides and felt dismayed when I found my holster empty. I even checked my other side and found the place where I kept my knife empty of a weapon as well.
Needless to say, my shotgun was also no longer on my back either.
They really were thorough, huh?
Fuck, I'm gonna have to fight unard in that case…
Since this was a kidnapping, not resisting would be the worst thing I could do.
I waited silently but my entire body was tensed up like a spring, ready to attack whoever opens the box.
Right as a crack opened and light shone into the darkness around , I sprung up and knocked the cover open before taking a second to look for the person who had tried to open the box.
I found him easily enough as the guy was looking up at with a stupid look on his face and I jumped towards him to knock him onto the ground.
As we both fell, I spotted the gun on his hip and while I was rolling both of us away, I slipped his gun out from its holster before pulling both of us up onto our feet, the guy being used as my shield as I wrapped my free arm around his neck.
I then pointed my newly acquired weapon in the direction of where we had rolled from and I found four other guys standing there, three of them still in a state of shock while the other two had already recovered and were reaching for their own weapons.
Incidentally, it looks like we had stopped in so kind of empty warehouse.
I took aim at those two first and fired once and then another ti, nailing both n in the head.
At this stage, there was no point for to try and negotiate my way out of here so better to take things into my own hands instead of asking questions.
The two n that I shot fell onto the ground, one of them already dead from a headshot wound while the other went down from a bullet wound in the abdon.
I then shifted my aim towards the remaining three n, intending to shoot them down as well.
But then I felt sothing hit against my side, the force strong enough to force to lose my grip on my human shield and send flying towards the side.
I let out a gasp of pain when I crashed against the wall, knocking the wind out of causing the world to spin.
I still managed to keep my grip on the gun so I gritted my teeth and forced myself to raise the gun in the direction of where I had just flown from.
The bastard who had sent flying seed to be slightly surprised that I was still able to raise my gun.
But just as I was about to pull the trigger, his figure disappeared and reappeared in front of , his hand clamping over my pistol's barrel.
He smirked at before he crushed the gun in his hand, rendering the weapon useless.
"If it wasn't because we needed to deliver you alive, I would have already killed you," The guy sneered.
"Fuck!! She killed them!! She killed Fred and Terry!! Just kill her, boss!!"
The one I shot in the chest groaned, "Ughhh… I'm… I'm not dead yet… You fucker…"
The guy standing in front of scoffed, "She's worth a lot of Credits. We'll get so nice beer to rember both of them by after the job. If we kill her, we don't get the Credits and their deaths are wasted."
"Like… Ughhh… Like I said… I'm not dead yet you bastards…"
I glared at the guy in front of , "What the fuck do you want from ?"
"I'm sure you've already figured it out by now, haven't you? Soone's paying to have you kidnapped. Now don't bother asking who or why, we don't get paid to know that. And even if we knew, I wouldn't tell you. Now… I could make this a bit more painful for you if you aren't going to cooperate, so why don't you do the smart thing and give up now?"
My answer was to give him a kick in between the legs.
The guy groaned and doubled over in pain as I tried to scramble to my feet to try and get away from here.
Before I could even take two steps away, sothing hit across the back and sent sprawling back onto the ground.
I looked back to see the guy smirking at and all traces of pain gone as though I didn't even kick him.
He went ahead to tap on his groin area, "Got them removed completely. No one here has any sexual organs but nice try though."
The fuck? Why would you even… You know what? I don't want to know…
I tried to scramble back on my feet again but he kicked them from under , causing to fall back on my haunches.
This mother fucker…
He stretched out his hand and one of his goons ca up and dropped what looked like a syringe gun into his palm.
"Now stop resisting or I may need to resort to more… Rudintary ways of making you unconscious."
Right as he took another step towards , several footsteps echoed from sowhere and we all turned to see a large group of thugs enter the warehouse.
"What's going on here?" One of them asked.
The leader of the kidnappers grinned, "Oh just a little escape attempt, don't worry about it. Here's your target, I hope you have our Credits?"
"Yes we do, now hurry up and knock her out and we'll get this over with."
"Hold on. The price has gone up. Not only were you late, she killed two of my n you see, and it seems like she's more valuable than you said she was. Increase the price by another three hundred thousand Credits at least."
"Tch… Fine."
"Ah, ah. Credits first."
I was still trying to look for a way out but then he stepped on my foot, preventing from moving.
I glared at him but the bastard ignored completely.
One of the thugs ca forward and handed him two Credit Chips, looking quite disgruntled at the fact that he just handed it over.
The kidnapper grinned, "Pleasure doing business with you. You can do the honours~ Do be careful though, one dose and she's knocked out for four hours."
The thug took the syringe gun from the kidnapper, "We'll keep that in mind. Now fuck off."
The bastard gave one final grin before getting off my foot to turn back to his group, the guy whom I shot in the abdon still whining that he wasn't actually dead yet.
I turned my attention to the thug, only to see him suddenly pull out his own gun before shooting the kidnapper leader in the back of the head.
The other thugs then proceeded to gun down the other kidnappers, killing the entire group in cold blood.
Just as I thought that they were here to rescue , the thug that handed the Credit Chips over knelt down and injected the syringe into my arm.
Fuck.
Next thing I know, I was blacking out again.
