I'm just going to say… This is the second disappointnt I have today.
I was expecting to see more exotic types of ingredients in this batch but it was basically the sa thing coupled with the more normal organic ingredients.
I suppose I set my expectations too high…
Well… I ended up making use of them to the fullest and ca up with quite a lot of different recipes that turned out pretty good even if I do say so myself.
I also made quite a few other condints and sauces which I shared with Tyle and he tried to replicate.
While it feels like his creations were actually getting palatable, it still feels like there's 'sothing missing'.
The good thing was that the people who have not tasted my food actually felt that his food was the best they had eaten so that's a good sign I would say.
But when he uses the condints or sauces I made, it basically transforms the food he made into almost the sa quality as mine.
Seems like if they really want to make this a long term thing, I might need to provide them with the condints and sauces long term.
I wonder if it's possible for to just make them on my ship and then have them delivered here or sothing.
Well… Whatever. We should just concentrate on taking care of this gang first before anything else.
I wiped my hands on a cloth as I finished serving the last batch of food that they needed as 'paynt' for the rcs to work with us.
To be honest, I have a feeling that so of these people aren't even rcs since they look like thugs or even look too dishevelled and manic to be rcs…
But then again, this is Denibi we're talking about so it could very likely be real.
Right as I was planning to leave the kitchen, Amber's head popped through the doorway and looked around until she spotted .
"Oh Tera~ Ehehehe~ Could I have so of your honey?"
I rolled my eyes at her, "Not here, Amber…"

"Ohhh~ So does that an that if we're sowhere else, I could have your honey if I wanted to?"
"Isn't that already happening anyway?"
"Ehehehe~ That's true~ Ah, but there's sothing else I wanted to tell you!"
She slipped into the kitchen and let the door shut behind her, taking her ti to skip over to .
"We have a tiny little bit of a problem you see…" She started.
I felt my body tense up, "Don't tell … We just got another group of people co in and we're all out of food again?"
"Eh? Ah! No, no, no! That's not it! It's not that serious, ahahaha!" Amber laughed, hugging my arm in the process. "It's just a weapons kind of problem."
I felt myself relax, "Oh, ok… So what do you an by that?"
"Well… Seems like we have a large number of rcenaries who wishes to aid us in our little war but most of them do not have a serviceable weapon…"
"They do not have a serviceable weapon? Why the heck are they rcs if they do not have a weapon?"
"Weeeeelll… From what I heard, so of them just do odd jobs so they don't really have a weapon in the first place. Others only have so kind of broken weapon to serve as a deterrent but isn't actually functional. Then there's a few others who have weapons that are really outdated or old to the point that they have a higher chance of killing them than their enemies. And finally there are those who literally sold their weapons to buy the drugs so… Yeah…"
"Ok… I suppose I can see the reasoning behind all that… But what does that have to do with us?"
"Well… We did loot quite a lot of weapons from the hideout that kidnapped you right? We were wondering…" She trailed off, giving a knowing look.
I understood what she was suggesting imdiately.
"You want to give them to the rcs?" I guessed.
"Oh, that's not really what I was thinking. We can loan it to them~"
I raised an eyebrow, "Loan it? How do we loan it?"
"Oh we can just lend them so of the guns and they pay us for using it by giving us part of the loot from those bases they attack~ So even if we're not involved in those raids, we'll still get a portion of the loot. What do you think? Genius right?"
I responded by pulling Amber into a hug and kissing her full on the lips before letting her go.
"You're a genius Amber! I love you!"
"Hue? Ehe… Ehehehe~ Emm… One more?"
I kissed her again, this ti sticking my tongue in there as well.
She moaned and her hands wrapped around the back of my head, pulling in to deepen the kiss.
I almost went ahead to indulge her before I pulled back, causing her to let out a moan of disappointnt.
"Mmm… You might as well just give your honey now, Tera… I'm already tingling down there~"
"Co on. This is still considered a public place so let's not do that…"
Amber moved her hands to my hips and pulled closer to her, "Oh~ But if we were to lock the door over there… This becos a private room, doesn't it?"
I reached up and pinched her cheek lightly, "No, control yourself. I know that once you start, you're not going to just stop at one. And then the others are going to wonder why you are here so long and they'll inevitably find us doing it and ask to join in. Then we'll make a ss of the kitchen too."
Amber giggled, "It wouldn't be the first ti right? And I'll clean it up, I promise~"
The door then slid open at that exact mont and Lea walked in, "Mistress, the others want to know if… Oh… Should I co back later?"
I cleared my throat, "No, no. It's alright. What do you need, Lea?"
Lea eyed Amber who continued to hug without letting go.
"It's nothing serious. I believe Amber already told you about the state of the new volunteers' weapons, or rather, the lack of weapons, yes?"
I nodded, "She recomnded loaning them the weapons we took from the base right? Including the one we just hit and the place that kidnapped ?"
"That is correct, Mistress. And they have agreed to pay us by--"
"Offering part of the loot they find at the bases they hit. Yes, I told Tera that as well," Amber interrupted.
"And what is Mistress's response to their offer?"
Amber cuddled against my neck, "I dunno. You ca in before I could get an answer."
"I believe you were not interested in getting an answer and more interested in asking Mistress for her honey, weren't you?"
"Oh please, like you wouldn't be the sa if you were in my position."
"That's not the point. So what shall I tell them, Mistress?" Lea asked, directing the question back to .
I shrugged, "I'm fine with it. Did we specify how much we would want them to give us?"
"They have agreed to a fifty percent split."
I raised an eyebrow at that, "Fifty percent? Really? Isn't that really good for us? They're the ones risking their lives and we get fifty percent of the loot?"
Amber answered instead, "Of course, Tera~ Because without us, they wouldn't even have the ability to get the other fifty percent in the first place."
"Not only that," Lea added, her face impassive. "This would also serve as paynt for them partaking in Mistress's food."
"Wait… I thought my food was ant to be paynt for them to participate in this in the first place? Why do they need to pay for it?"
Amber and Lea looked at each other and so kind of silent ssage seed to have passed in between them.
Amber then answered, "Because they were saved by your food, Tera so it's only right that they also pay sothing after receiving such a boon from you!"
Err… I guess she's talking about the people who got addicted to the drugs and had to sell their guns to be able to afford the drugs and now they were basically 'cured' after eating my food.
Fair enough. I wasn't going to say no to more loot anyway so let's just not question it anymore and just let them deal with it.
Speaking of which…
"When and where is the next raid happening?" I asked.
Lea lifted her personal terminal to tap a few tis on it to navigate to a certain window that only she could see.
"Mara is currently briefing the Guild representatives on the information she gained from the boss of the earlier hideout we went to, Mistress. After that, we will have to check our manpower to decide our next course of action."
Fair enough… In that case, that ans there's nothing to do but wait.
"So… Can I have your honey now, Tera?" Amber asked.
I was about to tell her off again when Lea spoke up, "If I may… Could I ask for so as well, Mistress?
Damn it girls…
