I'm not gonna lie… Seeing the two girls who were so against eating my food now literally licking their plates clean was quite satisfying.
I thought they might even try to pretend like they don't like the food to preserve their dignity or sothing but they just went all out and ate everything that was given to them.
They even had a forlorn look when they realised that all the food was gone.
By the way, they were at the denial phase but skipped past the anger phase and straight into the bargaining phase.
"Please! We'll do anything to get more! What do you want?"
"Yes! Just another serving will do! Just one!"
I waved my spoon at them, "Next al ti would be dinner ti so you'll have to wait until then."
The other researcher begged, "Can't we just have sothing for now?"
Amber cut in and scowled at her, "Do you think our food stores are bottomless or sothing? We have to ration it to make sure we have enough food to last until our destination!"
Lea scoffed from behind the counter where she was washing the dishes, "Earlier the both of you were even saying how bad it looked and now you want more. How shaless…"
"Ahhh! I didn't an it! I sincerely apologise!! Please!!"
"I apologise as well! I was blind the entire ti! But now I know!!"
Wow… They're really going all the way huh? Still, I have to be firm here since they might demand for even more if I give in now.
I was about to reject her again but Amber beat to it, "If you are really sincere about it, then you should listen to the Captain, yes? Maybe also fix that attitude while you're at it. If you're well behaved, you might get a reward too~"
Eh? What the hell is Amber saying? What reward is she talking about?
The two of them turned to her like they had just found salvation.
"We'll do anything! Please!"
"Hmm… Then I suppose I can share so of my stock of food that Tera has made for with you if you're polite about it~"
Without even a mont's hesitation, both of them sank to their knees and clasped their hands together in a pleading gesture.
"Please! We beg you!"
"Please take rcy on us and grant us this boon!"
Wow… How desperate are you two?
Amber waved at , "Don't worry about them, Tera, I'll deal with it~ Why don't you check on Ries if she needs anything on the bridge?"
Oh right, I should see if she wants more servings or sothing.
Yeah, that bit where I told them there was none left? That was a lie, obviously. There's still so left but it's ant for my girls to share, not them.
I know that the amount there was definitely not enough to satisfy them so I left so back in the pot in the kitchen.
That's why I assud Amber was going to give so of her portion to them instead.
I took another bowl of stew and left the dining room to head towards the bridge, trusting my girls to be able to handle our guests.
To be honest, I'm a little relieved that those two guys didn't join our lunch session since that guy would definitely make a lot of noise and might even ruin it before we ate.
I wonder if those two guys were benging that girl right now?
Shit… Better rember to tell Ries to clean up their rooms thoroughly once they get off our ship…
I entered the bridge and found it completely devoid of any sound.
Hmm? Where's Ries? Did she go back to the workshop?
No, wait… There seems to be a low hum coming from sowhere?
I followed the sounds to see Ries collapsed on the ground, the bowl that contained the stew I made for her left on the floor beside her.
Fearing the worst, I rushed up towards her to check if she was alright, my hand just inches away from touching her shoulder when I heard her mutter.
"Nyaaaa~ Boss's cooking… Too nice~ Purrrrrr~"
I retracted my hand, realising that our Maochatte was not hurt and simply in a food coma.
I couldn't help but let out a chuckle at how much I panicked just from seeing her on the ground, the sound of my laughter causing Ries to jump up in surprise.
"Eh?! Ah! Boss! Ermm… Did sothing happen?"
"Hehe… Nothing, nothing. I just ca in and saw you lying on the ground so I was a bit worried that you might have gotten hurt."
She blushed slightly, "Umm… Not at all… I just… Enjoyed your food so much and felt so comfortable that I went to lie down on the floor… Sorry for worrying you…"
I waved at her, "No big deal. Anyway, do you want so more? I brought so extra."
Her eyes practically lit up the mont she heard ask her that question, "Nyaaa! Yes please!"
I went over to the map terminal where I had left the bowl earlier when I rushed towards Ries before bringing it back to her, the Maochatte eyeing it like I had just brought her ambrosia.
When I passed it over to her, I expected her to start wolfing it down imdiately. But surprisingly, she held the bowl with both hands in front of her but made no move to start eating.
"What's wrong? Is there too little?" I asked.
She quickly shook her head, "Ah! No, no! This is plenty enough, Boss! It's… Erm… It's… I was just wondering… Since it's just the two of us right now… Would it be alright if I erm… asked you to feed ?"
I blinked at her before I chuckled, "Fufu~ Since when did you beco this cute, Ries? You want to feed you?"
"If… If it's not too much to ask?"
I went over to sit on the pilot's seat before tapping on my lap, "Of course not. Co here and I'll do it for you~"
She imdiately leapt to her feet and settled herself down on my lap, sitting sideways so that her side was facing .
I wrapped my left hand around her waist before taking the bowl from her, allowing my right hand to reach for the spoon to give the stew a few stirs before scooping so up to bring it to my Maochatte's mouth.
She opened wide and I brought the spoon past her lips before she clamped her mouth over it, swallowing the spoonful of stew I gave her.
"Mmmm!! It's soooo good, Boss… Your cooking always makes feel all warm and tingly, nyaaa~"
I smiled at her reaction, my attention more focused on how her cat ears were twitching above her head cutely while her tail swished behind her.
She's so cute~
That's why I couldn't help myself but to give her a kiss on the cheek.
She froze up and turned to , right before she lunged forward and kissed on the lips, her tongue pushing itself in and curling around my tongue.
The taste of the stew mixed with her saliva touched my tongue and I fully enjoyed the kiss, though I had to divert part of my attention to my left hand to stop myself from dropping the bowl.
She pulled back after a while, her tongue still stuck outside her mouth as a trail of saliva bridged in between our lips.
"Nyaa… I love you so much, Boss…"
I gave her another peck on her lips, "As much as you love fish?"
"Mnnn~ More than I like fish~"
Oh wow, that's a lot then.
I hugged her closer to , "Don't worry, I'll cook fish for you whenever you want to, Ries~"
"Nyaaa~ You're the best, Boss~ Can you… Umm… Feed mouth to mouth next?"

I took another spoonful of the stew and brought it to my own mouth this ti to pour it into my mouth.
I then turned back to Ries who was looking at with a face of anticipation so I didn't waste ti and leaned forward to kiss her on the lips again.
She sucked on my mouth so that I could transfer the stew over to her, her tongue darting in again to scoop up any residue of the stew that was still in my mouth to bring them over to her own mouth.
Even though she had already swallowed all the stew I had given her, she still continued to kiss , clearly enjoying the kiss.
Our lips remained connected for a good long minute before she separated, allowing to take another spoonful of stew to bring over to my mouth so that we could restart the entire process again.
I actually can't tell if she was enjoying the stew more or the kiss more… Either way, her second serving took quite a while to finish and the stew regrettably got a little cold because of that.
But well, we had other things to focus on instead of just that.
