I turned to look at Takehashi, "What do we do with you now?"
She jolted, as though only just realising her own position.
She looked down at her feet, her long hair moving to cover her face from view, "What else can I do now? Everything that I had known was shown to that it was a lie. My crew betrayed , the people who I could at least trust are dead. I have nothing else."
Amber crossed her arms, "There’s always turning yourself in to the UTG."
The pirate looked up at her, "You want to know the dumbest thing? Because they scrubbed all records of , they don’t actually have a bounty on . The bounty is on my Power Armour instead. So even if I were to just walk around like this, no one would know as the Pirate Lord of the Vengeance Fleet."
"Except your forr buddies in the military?" Amber added.
"The ones high up on the hierarchy who even knew about my unit, maybe. And that’s assuming they even still rember ."
"Well... That still doesn’t answer the question," I pointed out. "What are you going to do now?"
She turned back to look at , "As I said... What can I do? Perhaps I should just lie down here and wait for death. Perhaps I should just ask one of you to just end it for by shooting in the head? My life has been utterly pointless so far."
I scoffed at her, "If you want to die, you can go off and die yourself instead of involving us. But if you want us to take you and drop you off sowhere so you can start a new life, we can at least do that for you."
"A new life huh... This would be the fourth life I would be trying to live then... My first life taken away by the military when I was chosen to be part of this unit. My second life taken away after I was betrayed. And now, my third life would be lost after I realised all of it had been a lie."
She looked towards the direction of that newly ford eldritch being that was standing at the side.
All of us followed her gaze and the eldritch maid looked at us before looking down at herself.
"Did I make this body wrong? I was sure I made it right?"
Takehashi ignored her and turned back to , "Do you still think my life is even worth living for at this point?"
I raised an eyebrow at her, "Why are you even asking ? This is your life we’re talking about, isn’t it? The only person who can determine if your life is worth living is you. It’s not like I can live your life for you, right?"
"For to decide huh..."
She sucked in a deep breath before letting out a sigh, "What if I’m already tired of doing that? What if I don’t want to decide for myself anymore? I’ve been leading everyone, deciding things for everyone... I’m tired... So tired..."
"Then find soone who is willing to decide for you I guess?" I shrugged.
"Find soone... Who is willing to decide for ?"
"That’s the next best choice right? If you’re sick of doing all that where you need to think for yourself, I guess there’s always the option of getting soone else to do it for you?"
Yeah... I an... This is already a futuristic kind of universe, right? Surely she would be able to get herself so kind of life planner or even a therapist who can talk to her and set her straight again. Heck, she could even get herself an android or sothing that could act as her caretaker right?
Considering the fact that she’s a Pirate Lord, she must be pretty loaded with Credits and could most definitely afford the best that Credits could buy.
She blinked at , "I just... Need to leave it to soone else... This... I never thought of that..."
I waved at her, "No need to thank . Anyway, I guess we’re done here right? I want to leave this godforsaken place already... Can’t believe we ca so far and there aren’t any treasures..."
Well... I guess we did get one thing or person...
I turned back to the eldritch maid and she smiled at , "What is it, Daddy?"
"Hmm... Do you have a na?" I asked.
"Mmm... Daddy hasn’t given a na yet so... No?"

I turned to my girls to see if they had any suggestions and surprisingly, all of them shook their heads.
"Well... She sees you as her parent so... Shouldn’t you na her instead, Tera?" Amber pointed out.
Lea also nodded, "Mistress, you should na her. Any suggestions from us would be inappropriate for this occasion."

I turned to her, "How about... Renata? We can call you Rena for short?"
The girl gasped, "I love it Daddy! My na shall be Renata from now on!"

I turned back to Takehashi, "So... Are you staying here or are you coming along?"
She hesitated, "What...Umm... Could I ask what are your plans now?"
"Right now? We’re going to go loot this place for anything that is valuable so our ti here isn’t exactly wasted."
"Is there... Even anything that is worth taking? Weren’t all the stones and ships fake?"
"Well sure, but you got the corpses of those guys who betrayed you right? Those guys definitely have so Credit Chips on them, don’t they?"
Her brows imdiately furrowed, "You are planning to loot my n?"
"The ones who betrayed you, yeah? Don’t tell you still have so kind of compassion for those guys? If you want to bury those who fought by your side till the end, I’ll be happy to help you, but those who betrayed you? Fuck them."
She snapped her mouth shut but from how she was tensing up, I could tell that she was still not over it.
Either way, I started leading the way back out from the room through the hole to climb back into the corridor again.
When we passed by the window that showed where the machines were making the nanobots, I realised all of them had been wrecked and there wasn’t a single one of those nanobots left.
It’s like everything had been drained out from them... And I think I know where exactly all of it had been drained to.
I turned to my side to see Renata looking up at with sparkly eyes, "Yes, Daddy?"
"Just how much of those... Liquid matter did you consu?"
"Hmm... Approximately eight thousand four hundred tonnes?"
I goggled at her before looking at her feet, which I just noticed that she had even created black stockings and high heels for herself.
"Ahnnn~ Does Daddy want to look at my feet?" She giggled, lifting up the hem of her skirt to expose her legs.
"I’m more curious on how you’re not breaking the ground with all that weight on you?"
"Oh, that’s because I can control my weight too, Daddy~ That’s sothing simple for to do! So you don’t need to worry even if I were to take in more liquid matter!"
Ok... So I don’t need to worry about her breaking the ground with every step she takes... Good to know.
We reached the door where we left the rest of the pirates and I paused.
"What are the chances that there’s still so pirates hanging around?" I asked.
Ries scratched her cheek, "I don’t think a single grenade would be enough to take out all the remaining pirates... There were still quite a lot of them, weren’t there?"
Yeah... And I don’t think Matsumoto and his team could have killed them all either so... The chances of there still being pirates behind this door is pretty high...
All of us readied our weapons once again aside from Takehashi who was unard and still limping from her wound.
Renata was also just casually standing beside without looking worried but I figured that she probably wouldn’t be in danger anyway so I said nothing.
I made sure everyone was ready before I activated the door and we watched it slide open while we pointed out guns at the door.
Surprisingly, we were greeted with complete silence.
In fact, the containers that held the humans seed to have been turned off as well and all the liquid had been drained from them, leaving their corpses laying at the bottom of said container.
I relaxed and stepped out into the room and...
The severely burned and mangled form of Helen suddenly popped out from the side, a maniacal smile on her face as she glared at us.
"You!! There you are!!"
Godamnit woman! How are you still alive?!
