I wasn’t sure what to think of that but Mara basically did even more scans of and started pouring over the data like a woman possessed.
I didn’t want to disturb her so I just sat there and watched her, trying my best not to do anything that might distract her.
Am I going to explode?
Mara tapped away on her holographic keyboard furiously before she suddenly stopped and turned back to , though her eyes were looking down at my chest rather than at my face.
What? Don’t tell my boobs are also getting bigger? That one I won’t have anything to complain about~
"Renata. Get off of Captain right now," She ordered, revealing that she was looking at the eldritch maid and not my boobs.
Renata’s voice ca from my chest, "Oh? You want to get Daddy off? I can do that!"
I felt sothing form around my crotch area and the unmistakable sensation of sothing wet and warm could be felt rubbing along my length.
I gasped and a moan escaped from my lips before Mara scowled at her.
"I ant to move away from Captain."
Renata’s voice ca from my crotch this ti, "Ha? Why should I do that? I’m busy getting Daddy off right now!"
"This has to do with her Psionic energies. You don’t want Captain to get hurt do you? If you don’t, hurry up and move!"
There was a grumble before my clothes lted away into a puddle at my feet, leaving completely naked before the puddle moved aside to reform into a Renata with pink hair beside .
Mara then used the scanner to scan again and another screen appeared in front of her while she moved the first screen beside it as a way to compare them.
I wasn’t really sure what she was looking at as various different numbers and graphs appeared on the screen although I did recognise one of the pictures was the picture with the human figure and the balls bouncing around it.
The newer screen showed that the balls were bouncing around more violently than the first screen and if I rember correctly... That’s not supposed to be a good thing.
Am I really going to explode?
"Captain, on the chair please," She ordered, gesturing to the examination chair.
I didn’t question her and imdiately climbed onto the chair to lie down on top of it.
She then brought out her personal terminal and tapped away on it, prompting the chanical arm with the syringe attached to appear again.
"Wait... Another dose? It’s barely been a day!" I protested, realising she was trying to inject with the suppressant again.
"You will be fine, Captain. Trust ."
Well... I guess since my doctor said so...
I relaxed in the chair and felt the spray on my neck again which numbed to the needle piecing my skin.
Once I felt the arm move away, I wanted to sit up and Renata also moved to cloth again but Mara stopped us with a point of her finger.
"No. Captain, remain on the chair. Renata, you stay where you are. Actually, go to the corner over there. I need you to stay as far away from Captain as possible."
Renata crossed her arms and pouted at Mara, "Why should I do that? I’m already compromising a lot just by leaving Daddy and you’re still asking for more?"
Mara scowled, "I already told you this has to do with her Psionic energy."
"Daddy is fine! Can’t you see?"
I turned to Renata, "Just listen to Mara for now, ok?"
She pouted at but obeyed and went over to the corner of the room.
I laid back down on the chair and Mara started to scan again.
I feel like I’ve been scanned way more tis today than I have been ever since Mara joined our crew...
Even after the machine finished scanning , I didn’t move since Mara didn’t seem like she wanted to so I just laid there while I was still naked.
Sure enough, another scan started right after that so I just tried to make myself comfortable while I was on the chair.
I could tell with how Renata was fidgeting over there that she really wanted to rush over and cover again but she couldn’t so she was just hugging herself while in that corner.
A third screen popped up in front of Mara and she was staring at all three of them with furrowed brows.
The only sound that could be heard in the room was the beeping from her machines and even my own heartbeat felt like a drum in my ears.
I wasn’t sure how long I laid there but Mara eventually swiped away the screens to glare at Renata, my doctor pointing an accusatory finger at her.
"Have you been feeding off Captain’s Psionic Energy?!"
Renata tilted her head, "Hmm? I guess I have been? Why?"
Mara growled at her, "You... Do you even realise what you’re doing?"
Renata scowled back at my doctor, "Of course I do. I’m helping stabilise Daddy’s Psionic Energy so that Daddy doesn’t spontaneously combust. I’m also intentionally only feeding off the energy that Daddy’s body is leaking out to prevent them from moving back into Daddy’s body to balance the Psionic Energy levels inside Daddy’s body."
Err... Ok... I don’t know if I should be scared or glad that Renata was doing that? Can soone explain?
Mara tapped her foot on the floor rhythmically, "And you didn’t think that this was important to bring up to ?"
"It wouldn’t change anything anyway."
"It would have told that the suppressants were completely useless after the first few minutes and I wouldn’t need to administer it to Captain. That would have put an unnecessary risk on Captain and also a waste of resources."
E... Eh?! Wait, you’re telling that the thing she injected into basically beca useless after a few minutes? Then why the heck did I get jabbed for?!
Renata huffed, "It’s not useless~ All of it will make Daddy stronger! So there was no reason for to stop you anyway!"
"How would you know that? Are you not just doing this so that you can feed more from Captain? No wonder you’ve been so intent on being close to Captain, you have been leeching off her Psionic Energy. No wonder I didn’t find any anomalies after you joined us, you’ve been preventing them from happening!"
I say up in my chair, "Woah, woah, hold on a mont, I’m hearing things that I feel like I should have been told about but yet I’m hearing for the first ti. What are the both of you talking about?"
Both Mara and Renata looked at each other before turning back to .
Mara was the first to speak with a sigh, "Captain... I have to apologise but... You already showed Psionic potential a long ti ago and both Amber and I were aware that you were awakening as a Psionic for a while now. Back when you were in my clinic and I did a scan of you, I amplified your brain waves and you managed to lift an object telekinetically behind you."
Back in her clinic? You an back when she was still in Theeve? That long ago?!
"Why didn’t you tell ?" I asked.
"Because we were hoping that your Psionic abilities would just be minor abilities and would not be noticeable. Because if it got stronger, you would be involved with the Nobles and even the UTG which was sothing that both Amber and I hoped that we could spare you from. If either of them took notice of you..."
I nodded, "They would co after ... And the only thing I could do was either go into hiding or stand out so much that they wouldn’t be able to deal with secretly. I get it."
She sighed again, "That’s why we thought that if we do not tell you, your powers may actually go unnoticed and we might be able to cover for you if anything happens. Though now in hindsight, I can see that we should have just told you about it if I knew you were going to grow this strong."
"Well... I guess I can understand your intentions but... I would appreciate not being kept in the dark about this."
"My deepest apologies, Captain. It will not happen again."
I also realised sothing else... That ’friend’ that Amber had been talking about... That’s isn’t it? I guess I’ll have to ask her when she cos back...
I then turned to Renata, shooting her a questioning look.
She shrugged, "I said I want to eat your stuff, Daddy~ And you told I could, so I ate them~"
"That was referring to my honey, wasn’t it? I told you you could eat my honey and nothing else."
"I did ask at one point if I could eat your ’stuff’ and you said yes, Daddy!"
I honestly don’t rember if I did but I guess it doesn’t matter anyway.
"Is there anything bad about you eating my... Err... Psionic Energy?"
"I’m only eating the excess, Daddy! So it’s all good! You make more anyway!"
Ok... I don’t know too much about it so I’ll just have to take their words for it.
Geez... Are there anymore surprises I should know about, girls?
