After getting rid of the Exo-Knights, we sward the ship that the ’pirates’ had used to sneak here and boarded it.

I was expecting at least so kind of resistance but it turned out that the ship was basically empty. Seems like all of the crew mbers were also Exo-Knight pilots so everyone was deployed for that ambush, which left the ship completely unguarded.
That’s pretty sloppy work if you ask ... If soone else had found the ship while they were executing their plan and flew off with it, they would also be screwed even if they succeeded in their ambush.
Well... I won’t say no to a free ship, especially when the ship is already kitted out to carry Exo-Knights.

There was a mont of silence before a blob popped out from my chest and jumped from and onto the floor.
The blob bounced once before it wobbled and transford itself into another Renata, this one with orange hair.
She placed her hand on the ship’s control panel and paused for a mont.
"Mmm... If Ries could help make so changes to the ship controls, I might be able to pilot and maintain it with two copies of myself... Maybe three."
Huh... Hold on then... Wouldn’t I be able to form an entire fleet with just Renata alone?
I cleared my throat, "Ahem... Quick question, Renata... What’s the maximum number of clones you can have before... I dunno... You don’t work as efficiently?"
"Hmm? Didn’t Daddy ask this question before? Right now... Hmm... I have about twenty clones and if I want to operate at full capacity... I think I can expand the number to fifty right now?"
Wait, wait... The last ti she said that she could split into ten... Now the number increased to five tis?!
If I rember correctly, she ntioned that the thing that was stopping her from splitting herself a lot is the fact that she was lacking Liquid Material or whatever she called it. I don’t rember her eating a lot of anything for her to be able to suddenly increase her clones by five tis?!
She continued, "Oh! But I guess we don’t really need to operate at full capacity if I’m just piloting a ship! I can just leave a full capacity clone on board and a second clone that would be dedicated to splitting multiple copies to operate at below the max capacity! There won’t be a problem, Daddy!"
If I understand what she ant... It ans that she’s currently able to control up to fifteen other ships right now... And that’s assuming that those ships need a large crew on board to man them.

Renata seed offended by that suggestion and huffed, "Hey! I would like Daddy to pay too! I’m not a slave!"
I blinked at her, "Eh? Umm... I haven’t really been paying you any Credits ever since you joined though... Oh no... Should I have? Didn’t you say you didn’t want any Credits before?"
She licked her lips, "Of course I don’t want Credits, Daddy~ I want Daddy to give my allowance like always~ There’s no way I’m giving that up~"

I felt sothing wet suck on my shaft in between my legs and I shuddered, trying to keep myself from moaning.
Should have expected that answer from her... I’m just going to pretend I didn’t hear that then... And I’m also going to pointedly ignore the fact that she just gave a quick suck down there too...
Thankfully, I didn’t need to address what she did as she continued speaking on her own, "Besides, Daddy~ If you want to split more, then I need all that delicious Liquid Material from you to do it~"

But really? Have I given her that much that she’s able to split herself that many tis? Actually, more importantly... I didn’t even know there were already twenty of her! Since when?! And I don’t rember seeing that many Renatas walking around the Iridescence! So where were the other clones?!
Is she hiding them sowhere? Or are the other clones really busy cleaning and maintaining the ship out of sight?
Sothing tells that I don’t want to know... Because I have a feeling that she may have split her clones and transford them into so furniture on the ship just to hide them or sothing...
Well whatever... I know that she wouldn’t do anything to hurt at least.
Still... I guess now I know that if I wanted to start an armada, I could. Maybe we could prioritise taking ships intact from now on?
After all... We now have a ship that has a modified hangar bay that we can use to store either Exo-Knights or even a fighter or two.
Hmm... As enticing as that sounds, it might also attract quite a lot of attention if I were to do that and people might start investigating my group.
If they did, they might find out that most of my crewmates are basically clones of each other and if they dig further, they might figure out that Renata wasn’t a real human.
And if they figured that out... They might try and attack us to take her away to experint on.
I wasn’t even worried that this might be possible because Renata could certainly defend herself so I don’t need to worry about her being attacked. It’s just that it would beco incredibly annoying if we had to deal with all those attackers coming one after the other.
It’s going to be especially tiring when we have to keep looking over our shoulders in case there were people who were trying to hurt us.
Also, this was already not considering the fact that we have two full fledged Psionics in our group, one of them being a forr Noble who is still running from her family and the other is an escaped governnt experint.
Then there’s who’s supposedly a fledgling Psionic as well and I don’t know what that would entail...

I turned back to Renata who had gone ahead to start integrating herself with the ship, her finger literally connected to one of the ports on the console and taking control over the ship.
"Renata... You can transform yourself to look like other people right?"
She made a face at , "Mnnggh... I can... But... I would prefer if Daddy doesn’t tell to transform my clones to look like different people..."
"You have different hair colours for each of them though?" Amber pointed out.
"That’s different! That’s just hair colour! I still want to be Daddy’s Renata! If I change my looks, I wouldn’t feel like Daddy’s Renata anymore!"
That’s... An odd rule to have... But well... Who am I to judge?
My eldritch maid grimaced, "But if Daddy really insists... I can do it."
I shook my head, "It’s fine. We don’t really need to do that now. I an... At least right now we’ll only have two ships if we include this one and I doubt we would accommodate other people on board this ship so they won’t know that it is crewed by you alone."
Renata giggled, "Ehehehe~ Thank you Daddy~ I love you~"
Ries then spoke up, "Actually... I have a better idea, Boss."
All of us turned to her and she seed to be pretty proud of whatever idea she had co up with.
My catgirl pointed her finger at the newly created Renata clone, "We can just have the clones include a barcode sowhere on their bodies!"
It took a mont to understand what she was suggesting.
Basically, she is saying that the Renata clones would just add so robotic parts which would make them look like androids and have the ’original’ Renata stay the way she is so people would just assu that we just had a whole bunch of androids made in her likeness to staff the ship.
Then even if there was an entire army of her, it could just be explained away that they were just manufactured androids that we made sohow.
Ries, you genius!!
I guess in order to make it as similar to an android as possible, we would need Renata to consu one.
Hmm... I wonder if the Instructor is willing to give one away or do we have to buy a new one ourselves?
