I raised an eyebrow at her, "I an... If you’re going to ask a vague question like that, it’ll be hard for to answer as well... What should I say?"
She tapped on the armrest of her chair, prompting a screen to pop out in front of her.
"I just need to know what you see yourself doing with your Exo-Knight? I’ll figure it out from that."
I shared a look with my girls before turning back to her.
"Well... I would say that I had originally intended to get an Exo-Knight that would be able to adapt to any situation."
Rosalia tilted her head, "Oh? So you want a moddable one... Sothing like the Vanguard Class?"
I nodded, "That was one of my top choices when I was considering getting an Exo-Knight actually."
"Hmm~ Hmm~ I see, I see~ This would definitely be a challenge... Especially if we’re going to make this into a customised Exo-Knight..."
Friederike scoffed, "Hmph, you don’t need to worry about that. This sounds like an interesting project for so I’ll deal with that. You just need to worry about building it."
Rosalia scowled at her, "Oh sure, sure. I’d like to see what other stupid ideas you can co up with. Rember the last ti you thought that you could solve the power problem by strapping two different generators into one Exo-Knight? Hmm?"
The goat girl huffed, "That was just one ti. And don’t deny the fact that my suggestion actually inspired you to create the power tunnel system that we’re using for the new generation of Exo-Knights too. So even that was because of my help."
"Oh please, that was completely unrelated to you, ok? I just--"
"Ahem..." I cleared my throat, interrupting her from continuing their argunt.
"Ah... Sorry Tera... Ahem... Right! Anyway! You want sothing that can adapt to any situation... I assu that also includes being able to operate within the confines of a planet’s gravity, right?"
I assu she’s asking if I expect to be able to use it on a planet too so I nodded my head, "That would be preferable, yes."
That tapped on her screen for a mont before humming, "Hmm hmm~ What about your combat style? Do you want to do things up close and personal or would you prefer a long range type?"
"Hmm... I guess I would prefer things closer. If it helps, my main weapons as a rc is a shotgun and a halberd."
She raised an eyebrow at , "A hal bird?"

I rested it on my palm and it broke apart to assemble itself into my weapon which I held in one hand.
Both of them imdiately leapt out from chairs to crowd around .

Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Amber and Mara face palming.

I cleared my throat, "Ahem... I visited the Zwergers and got one of their smiths to make it for m--"
"This... This has Psionic properties..." Rosalia gaped before looking up at with wide eyes. "You... You’re a Psionic..."
Friederike had also stopped moving and was just looking at , almost like a prey frozen in place when a predator appeared in front of them.

I looked at my girls and I was getting mixed reactions from them.
Amber was looking at in the eyes and doing the slitting throat motion with her hand while Mara was averting her gaze.
Lea didn’t seem bothered by the revelation as if I just told them what I had for breakfast while Ries was obviously panicking and looking back and forth between and the two girls.
Then there’s Yumiko who was thumbing the hilt of her sword like she was already prepared to unsheathe it at any mont to cut them both down.
I sucked in a breath before smiling at Rosalia, "Oh, I’m not a Psionic. The weapon itself just--"
"You’re a Psionic..." Rosalia interrupted, taking a step back. "There’s no other way..."

"Renata... Is this place being monitored?" I whispered.
"Mmm.... There we go~ I already disabled everything and edited the footage from a few minutes ago~ You don’t need to worry, Daddy!" She assured .
I shifted my tone and stared at the two won in front of , "Is this going to be a problem?"
I could see Rosalia shaking slightly as she took another step back, "I... No... I was just... I was just wondering... Why a Noble would be here... Working as a test pilot..."
"I’m not a Noble," I corrected her.
Her eyes went even wider, "Eh... Eh?! Wait... You’re a Psionic... But you’re not a Noble... No way?! An awakening that happened outside of the Noble Families?! A first generation Psionic?!"
I took a step towards her, "Like I said... Would that be a problem?"
Unexpectedly, her entire attitude changed and she rushed forward to grab my hand, "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh!! That ans I get to make an Exo-Knight for a Psionic?! This opens up so many avenues for !! This is perfect!!"
Friederike also started muttering to herself, "Hmm... If it’s a Psionic piloting it... Then I suppose I will need to change so paraters on the machine..."
I blinked at them, "You’re... Not going to report or sothing?"
Rosalia tilted her head, "Report you? For what?"
"I don’t know... I thought having a Psionic outside of the Noble Families is a bad thing and you guys would need to report this to them?"
"And then have them take you away from us when you’ve been the best test pilot we’ve had in forever?! No way!!"
"Then... Aren’t you worried that I might... I dunno... Attack you?"
She blinked at , then looked down at my hands that she’s grabbing before looking back up at again.
As though it finally just clicked, she let go and took a few steps back, "Umm... You’re not going to kill us... Are you?"
"No? I was just asking because I thought there was this preconception about Psionics?"
She scratched her cheek, "Ah... I suppose there is that kind of thinking since Psionics can literally kill people with their minds... Umm... I kind of forgot about that myself..."
So I’m guessing she got so distracted by the prospect of making an Exo-Knight for a Psionic that she forgot about that...
The mont got pretty awkward but Friederike ca to the rescue, "Ahem... I suppose we should start over again, Miss Tera. I take it that the assumption that you are a first generation Psionic is correct?"
When she said first generation, I suppose she ant that I’m the first of my bloodline to awaken as a Psionic.
I nodded, "That’s right. As far as I know, I do not hail from a Noble Family."
"I understand... In that case, may I assu that you do not wish to get their attention as well?" She asked.
I narrowed my eyes at her, not answering her question imdiately.
She noticed my hesitation and raised her hands placatingly, "Rest assured, the both of us have no desire to use that information against you. We just want to know how private we have to keep this between us."
I nodded slowly, "Yes... I would very much prefer that and my crew’s circumstances be kept out of being found by other people."
Friederike turned to Rosalia and nodded.
The bunny futa brought up a screen and started tapping on it, only to frown when she looked at it.
"Huh? I’m trying to delete the audio and video records in this room but... I can’t find it?"

I cleared my throat, "Ahem... Sorry but... I already did that earlier... My bad."
Rosalia looked up and gasped, "You... Managed to break through all of our security without tripping any of the alarms and... Wait... You didn’t just remove them... You edited the footage!! I’m looking at a looping video of an empty room right now! How?!!"
I placed a finger on my lips coyly, "Trade secret."
She got into my personal space and looked up at with sparkly eyes, "Is this related to your Psionic powers?! What else can you do?! Please tell everything! This is all for science!!"
