I felt a tug on my arm and I turned to see Odeta leaning over to whisper, "Sister Aster… Is the King going to join us for the slumber party tonight?"

I blinked, "Ah… I… Don't know?"

Lisa leaned on my other side, "I think she is… No way the both of them will want to miss out on tonight."

I turned to her, "Miss out on tonight? Why? What's going to happen?"

Mother ca back to my side and hugged again, putting back in the sa position as before while she patted my head.

"Ufufufu~ Is my little one having fun?"

Well… I don't know if you can call it fun but I've pretty much only been standing here and receiving birthday wishes from everyone…

But I do enjoy the sight of all my schoolmates celebrating together right now so I guess you could say that I was indeed having fun.

Right then, the lights in the hall darkened, though it wasn't to the point of it being impossible to see.

A spotlight was then shone on the stage where a single chair stood.

Delmare walked up onto the stage and took a seat on the chair before her legs turned back into her tail.

Naturally, I had my full attention on her as her presence silenced the crowd before she started to sing.

She started with a sombre tone at first and it took but a mont to know what kind of song it was.

It was a song about separation and moving on, which I felt was a rather weird song for her to sing here even though it matched up with our situation.

Everyone was graduating and we would be pretty much going our separate ways. That was especially true in my case since I intend to set off within the next few days after I have finished my preparations.

I thought Mother, Mary, Sebastian, the servants, the King and Queen, or even my schoolmates might try to stop from leaving and convince to stay. But to my surprise, they were all quite supportive and wished good luck on my journey.

Odeta and Lisa don't seem to be affected but they were still clinging to my arms and of course, Mother was also softly patting my head from behind while silently enjoying Delmare's 'practice' performance.

But as much as I wanted to imrse myself in Delmare's singing, the feeling of magic in the air kind of worried as I wondered where it was coming from.

I focused my senses to try and see what the magic was until I realised it was coming from Delmare's direction.

Wait… Is she… She is!! She's using her magic to sing?!

I panicked a little and quickly activated my [Mind Shield] until Lisa tapped on the shoulder and shook her head.

"There's no need, Aster~"

I turned back to look at the stage and Delmare was definitely singing seriously right now instead of treating it like a practice session.

Even with [Mind Shield] up, I could feel the magic in the air weaving through the crowd so I tried to reach out my senses to try and sense what it was.

This was sothing that I learned I could do after reaching tier three in my Mana Managent as I seed to beco more sensitive to mana.

Concentrating, I realised that the magic that was being weaved into her song was not the sa as before.

Unlike the other tis where she would sing for , this magic felt more… Contained?

To be more precise, her magic in her songs felt very excitable and free, but this one felt more muted and soft? I'm not even sure if that makes sense.

"Since when…" I asked.

Mother giggled, "Little Delmare wanted to keep this a secret from you~ But Mama shall let her tell you herself~ Although… Ufufufu~ It seems like it isn't perfect yet~"

Right as I was about to ask what she ant by that, Delmare finished her song and there was a sudden rush of movent from the crowd as everyone suddenly turned around and rushed towards .

I wasn't too worried since Odeta, Lisa and Mother were still with but I was still quite taken aback to see so many people rush towards suddenly.
