The knight's outpost was rather crowded with both knights and Guild mbers mixed together.

As I thought, the reason why the Guild was empty was because pretty much everyone had gathered here.

It seems like the knights were going to make an announcent soon so we were all just waiting around for that.

Even though I said it was crowded, it was only because of the fact that the place we were gathered in was not that big to begin with.

The knight's outpost was basically a small squarish barracks with a training field in the centre which was where we were currently squeezed into right now.

Also, there were obviously more knights than Guild mbers as we were separated into two groups right now and the disparity in how much space each group took up was clear to see.

"How long more is this going to take…" One of the rcenaries near whined.

"As expected of the knights huh… Making us rush to wait just so that they can make us wait to rush…" Another groaned.

Well… I can't say much because we just got here but it seems like these people have been waiting here for at least close to an hour and a half already.

Right as it seed like they were going to complain even more, a heavily armoured knight ca out from the building while being flanked by two other knights.

He walked up to a podium and raised his hand to get our attention.

"Everyone, I apologise for the wait and I thank you all for coming. My na is Qurajar and I'm the captain of the knights at this outpost. As most of you may already know, there is a Dungeon near the city that is at risk of a Dungeon breakout. Thus, we would need for the monsters to be cleared to mitigate that risk."

One of the knights that had been accompanying him handed a scroll to him which he unfurled to show us.

"Because of the location of the Dungeon and the monster that had recently broken out of it, I am announcing a state of ergency. This is the writ that will grant anyone free passage to the Dungeon to clear out the monsters regardless of your rank as we are unable to properly determine the rank of the Dungeon at this ti."

His announcent caused a wave of murmurs to sweep through the crowd on the Guild mbers side.

"They don't even know the rank of the Dungeon and he wants us to go in there? Isn't that just telling us to go and get ourselves killed?"

"Why is this even necessary?"

"I heard the monster that broke out from the Dungeon swept through a whole contingent of knights easily…"

The knight captain ignored the murmurs to continue, "Unfortunately, most of the knights will not be joining on this Dungeon hunt as they will be clearing out the monsters that had been scattered throughout the forest thanks to that monster rampaging around so I'm afraid that most of the Dungeon clearing will have to be done by the rest of you."

The murmurs stopped and most of the people on our side were giving each other worried looks.

Soone at the front raised up a hand and the knight captain shook his head, "Allow to finish first, I will handle questions later. First I shall outline the plan."

He furled the scroll and another knight pushed a board into the training field where several papers had been stuck on it.

One of the pictures stood out as I realised it was a pretty accurate drawing of the Tyrannosaurus-Rex that we had killed.

The knight captain pointed at the board, "As I had said earlier, we do not know the rank of the Dungeon as the scouts that we sent were unable to determine the rank of the Dungeon properly as they are monsters that we have never seen before. We may be looking at a completely new type of Dungeon that is the first in this world."

The atmosphere around the Guild mbers changed again, this ti in the other direction.

"New monsters?!"

"A new type of Dungeon?!"

"Damn! We're so lucky!!"

The knight captain raised his hand again to get our attention, "As so might have heard, there was a monster that had recently broken out from the Dungeon but it was defeated a few days ago by a brave party. This was what it looked like."

He drew our attention to the picture stuck in the centre of the board and everyone inspected it carefully.

"I've never seen that monster before…"

"So it really is a new type of monster huh…"

"Fortunately for us," The captain continued, right before he turned to look directly in my direction. "The party that defeated this monster is with us today. Can we ask that you share what you know about this monster, please?"

He then gestured at the crowd, indicating I should start my 'presentation'.

I stepped up and gave everyone a wave, "Hello… I'm Aster, leader of the White Dragon's Sword Maidens. As knight captain Qurajar had said, my party took down that monster when it attacked the rchant convoy we were protecting. This is also the first ti we've seen this monster so I'm not too sure about the specifics but I can at least share so things that we noticed. First of all, it seems like this monster has resistance to magic."

Several of the people in the crowd frowned and it wasn't that hard to figure out that they were mages since they were wearing robes.

"That said, it is still vulnerable to physical attacks, though I have to say that its physical strength does match its size as it can easily crush and pull up trees. Also, it tends to use its tail as a whip so there's that to watch out for. Additionally, it can fire a laser from its mouth but there's a small wind up ti so you should be able to avoid it if you see it charging up a ball of light in its mouth."

Huh, there were so of them who actually took out notebooks to scribble down what I said.

The captain turned back to , "Do you still have the Mana Crystal for that monster?"

I nodded, "Should I bring it out?"

"If you do not mind."

I believe he wanted to show the crowd how big the crystal was so that they can have a better idea of either how big the monster itself was or how dangerous it might be.
