I explained what happened last night to my girls in the morning while we were having breakfast.

They seed a little upset by the fact that Tsara and Ira accompanied for the fight while they were sleeping.

I then told them that we were also hired as escorts for a group of Trasifs and they should prepare themselves for escort duty.

Thus, we were waiting in the courtyard of the outpost as the Trasif convoy got ready to move out.

The Trasif convoy leader ca up to with a bright smile on her face.

"Good morning! Ah... I can’t believe I didn’t do this yesterday... I am Seabille, an independent rchant! I usually travel between the Amrap and Trasif territories for trade! Nice to et you!"

I curtsied, "Nice to et you, Miss Seabille. I am Aster, leader of the White Dragon’s Sword Maidens. These are my party mbers."

The Trasif rchant saw my curtsy and quickly gave a bow of her own, "Ah! Forgive my rudeness! Yes! Nice to et all of you!"

She straightened herself, "Thank you once again for accepting our request! We will be in your care for this journey!"

I nodded at her and she returned to the rest of the Trasifs to organise the convoy and prepare everyone to move out.

My party was already prepared to leave so we just needed to wait for them to organise before we settled into our escort positions and started heading out of the outposts.

There were a few Amraps who ca to see us off enthusiastically, even the ones who I had not t last night.

I’m guessing the Amraps we t last night must have shared what happened last night with the others.

Thankfully, they didn’t try to stop us for a challenge and we headed out in the direction of the Amrap villages.

We had arranged ourselves to surround the convoy and I took position at the back of the convoy with Katsuki, Tsara and Ira.

The only reason why the last two were with was so that I could watch over them to make sure that they don’t try to fight again.

For now, it looks like they have cald down for now and aren’t fighting anymore.

Well... That’s not to say that they were on good terms because it’s obvious that they weren’t with how they were clearly ignoring each other and using as a wall between the other.

We moved in silence for quite a distance before I decided that the silence was too uncomfortable so I spoke up, "Ahem... So... Nice weather today, huh?"

Tsara looked up, "Mmm... I believe it’s going to rain actually."

I also looked up and sure enough, I could see dark clouds forming above and headed in our direction.

Most likely it would rain in the afternoon which should be fine since we will most likely be stopping to take a break anyway.

Ira let out a sigh, "I don’t understand, Aster... Why did we even accept this job? They aren’t even paying us well, are they?"

"Well... It’s not about the paynt, Ira... It’s about helping them since they are in trouble," I explained.

"I understand that you want to keep that status quo of this World to explore it, Aster... But helping these people doesn’t help your position at all, right? Now we need to match their speed and also worry about them being in danger as well. If it was just us, we would be able to handle ourselves without any problems but we now have a burden to worry about."

Tsara chuckled mirthlessly, "My, my~ How ironic is it for the burden there to complain about soone else being a burden?"

Tsara scowled, "That’s not true."

"It’s true and you know it. You’re afraid that Aster would change into soone you don’t recognise anymore because you already decided that the current Aster is your ideal and you don’t want her to change."

Surprisingly, Tsara couldn’t say anything back to her which told that Ira might have hit the nail on the head.

Ira crossed her arms, "You can say anything you like but it’s all aningless if you don’t have a use. I am here to protect Aster and help her achieve her goal of travelling around the World."

Tsara tilted her chin upwards at her, "I am the sa as well. Do you think you can do a better job than I can in protecting Lady Aster? You barely even understand this World while I have lived in it!"

Ira scoffed at her and was about to say more before she snapped her head to the side.

Right then, a giant spider monster jumped out from the bushes and tried to latch onto the wagon that the giant chicken creature was pulling, only to crash into the shield of light that I had just projected.

I was going to finish it off but Tsara and Ira disappeared from my sides and appeared above the monster at the sa ti.

Tsara conjured a pillar of light while Ira summoned what looked like a giant black obelisk

Both of their attacks crashed into the monster at the sa ti, smashing the poor thing into at paste.

Ugh... The both of you pulverised it so much that we can’t even collect it for any usable parts if we wanted to...

Both of them imdiately turned back to and cried out at the sa ti.

"Are you alright, Aster?!"

"Are you unhard, Lady Aster?!"

Girls... Calm down... It’s literally just a normal monster... Any of us could have killed it easily...

I stopped myself and looked up, right as a flying monster that looked like a bat dove down from above.

Hmm... I guess I should be careful of this since killing it in midair here would cause its corpse to fall right on top of us.

Right as I was going to try paralysing it first, Tsara and Ira appeared on both sides of the monster, causing it to hover in the air in surprise.

Err... What are the two of you planning to do up there?

They conjured up the pillars made of their own respective elents again, the pillars looking like giant mashers when placed beside the monster.

It didn’t even have ti to let out a squawk before the two pillars smashed into each other with the monster stuck in the middle, the monster crushed flat like a pancake.

The blood from the creature started to rain down towards us and the Trasifs started screaming in fear from watching that monster get pulverised.

Since I had no wish to be covered by monster blood, I used my Aeromancy to conjure up a gust of wind to blow the blood off to the side, keeping all of us dry.

Sigh... That’s another monster that we can’t even harvest any parts from...

Looking at the rest of my girls, I could tell they were also shooting Tsara and Ira annoyed looks.

The two of them descended back down to the ground beside , both of them glaring at each other.

"I had it handled! Why did you have to butt in you god simping bitch?!"

"I should be asking you that question, you godless creature. You should have just stayed where you were instead of butting in."

"Oh so I’m the problem? Look at what you’ve done!"

"Hmph... I’m sure Lady Aster will agree with . Right, Lady Aster?"
