Mother then turned back to , "Tell everything, my little one. Did anything else happen that you felt was out of place during the tournant?"

Mother paused for a mont, giving my head a few more strokes before speaking again.

"I'm afraid not, Madam. Although if I am allowed to guess, I would say that they were trying to test the Young Mistress."

"Test her?"

"Yes. They are already aware that the Young Mistress had sothing to do with Crystal's and her sister's disappearance. Thus I suspect that they might be trying to test the security around the Young Mistress to see what kind of preparations they needed to engage her."

Mother's hand stopped, "Are you suggesting that they might attempt an assassination on my little one?"

"I do not believe it would skip to assassination directly, Madam. But kidnapping would be very possible as they might want to find out more details about the state Crystal and her sister are in from the Young Mistress."

"Have those two not contacted their family at all?"

"Crystal has tried to. She claims that their family uses 'drops' to send ssages to each other but either they have not checked them since her supposed death or sothing or soone else was intercepting them."

I felt a slight chill go down my spine.

Mother hugged a little closer to her, "Can we assu that there's soone in her family that would prefer that Crystal stay dead?"

"It is quite likely."

Mother humd again as she continued to pat my head.

I looked up at her, "Umm… What should I do, Mommy?"

Her lips curled into a smile, "There's nothing you need to do my little one~ Would you like to co back here tomorrow to look at the other sections of the exhibition?"

"Would that be alright? I was thinking of going to the pleasure slave section tomorrow just to take a look."
