There were a few students who were also using the field for their own practice sessions a short distance away from us, though it was clear they were more interested in watching us than paying attention to their own training.

I was sure that pouring more mana into the spell would increase its durability but that was obviously not the case since the armour still shattered in one hit no matter how much mana I put into the spell.

My next hypothesis was increasing the ti it took for to materialise the spell since [Laser] would be stronger if I were to take more ti to charge it up. But that was obviously not the case since it still yielded the sa result.

I guess that wasn't going to work anyways since [Laser] getting stronger was more because of the mana being used to cast it rather than the ti anyway.
