Ok… So I fully believe that Lisa was acting this entire ti to string this guy along for so reason. The only problem is that I don't know why she was doing that and whether it had anything to do with my mission.

Lisa told the guy to start telling how he got to his level of proficiency in Alchemy and the guy basically took that as his chance to go ahead and start boasting about his skills.

He started talking about how he would follow his teacher to gather herbs to familiarise himself with them, as if he was the only one who does that…

Then he would boast about how he would ticulously prepare the sa potion over and over again until he could prepare them without referring to a recipe book. He said it only took him three weeks to morise the procedure for making a Lesser grade healing potion.

I really had to hold myself back from blurting out what was there even to rember in creating a simple potion like that? I literally morised it the sa day I was taught since all you needed to do was grind up the herbs, toss it into the cauldron with the binding agents, then pour your mana into it and stir until it's done.

I was so surprised by him that I couldn't help but let it show on my face. Luckily, he was basically boasting to Lisa so he wasn't looking at which prevented from being exposed.

How the hell did this guy even get to the first tier of proficiency? What's more… He even tried to drug Lisa with an aphrodisiac…

I don't even know how to make an aphrodisiac…

Lisa most likely understood that was my signal that I wanted to talk to her privately.

I let out the breath I didn't even know I had been holding the mont he left.

"Ok, I guess you should explain?" I prompted her.
