Perhaps reincarnation truly existed.

Han Yuexi.

When Ye Yu first entered the Divine Realm in his dream, the first person he saw was her. He had never expected to encounter her again in reality. Truly, fate worked in mysterious ways.

Ye Yu hadn’t counted on Han Yuexi recognizing him, so he prepared to depart imdiately. Yet, to his surprise, Han Yuexi called after him.

“You’re in a hurry? Are you very busy?”

Ye Yu looked back in disbelief, scanning the surroundings—no other deities were present. Was she speaking to him? Could it be that she too retained mories from the dream? Impossible—absolutely impossible! In theory, only those who cared for him would preserve dream‐mories, and Han Yuexi certainly could not have liked him. It wasn’t modesty on his part; they had shared only fleeting encounters in those dreams. Falling for soone after re brief etings seed absurd.

Nonetheless, Han Yuexi’s bearing reminded him of their eting in the Negative Reigns Supre dream, when he had manipulated events to harvest others’ negative emotions. Unintentionally, he had ensnared Han Yuexi’s brother, Han Qianzhang—and at that mont she had produced the He Xin Jade, the very jade Ye Yu had given her in his first dream. Though Ye Yu had denied gifting it, the mory had stayed with him. Replay after replay, he concluded that perhaps dream‐mories could carry over between successive dreams—and so Han Yuexi had indeed retained hers.

But this was reality. How could he know if she rembered the dreams? Until he was certain, Ye Yu offered an ambiguous reply:

“Uh, I’m not that busy. What is it? Do you need sothing?”

A vague, adaptable response: whether she did or didn’t rember, his words would not overstep.

“I do,” Han Yuexi said, stepping forward to appraise him from head to toe. Her cold, appraising gaze made him uneasy. As he opened his mouth to find an excuse to leave, her next words froze him in place.

“You, this deity of mine, are truly intriguing. We’ve t so many tis—in different realms, even in different identities: sotis human, sotis ghost, sotis demon. Tell , why is that? Ye Yu!”

With that, Han Yuexi lightly twirled her fingers, and the He Xin Jade appeared once more in her hand. Ye Yu’s heart skipped a beat: the jade truly was hers. That ant the missing jade shard from the hundred—manifested in the Thousand Dreams Illusion—was this very piece she held. Incredible. Could she truly harbor feelings for him? She had seen him in so many dreams, including the fusion dream!

Ye Yu’s thoughts raced, and he replied swiftly:

“Fellow deity, I’m not sure what you an. I think this is our first eting, right?”

Since he had already denied any connection in the Negative‐Reigns dream, he decided to deny again. After all, he could not explain his shifting identities: a human who cultivated into a deity remained rooted in humanity; a demon‐turned‐god still bore a demonic essence, as did a ghost‐god. Denial was the simplest way to avoid complications. Besides, he sensed no romantic interest in Han Yuexi’s gaze—were she fond of him, her eyes would burn with passion, not this placid neutrality.

Han Yuexi rely rubbed the He Xin Jade between her fingers, unfazed by his denial. She had expected as much.

“Oh? Did I mistake you for soone else? Sorry—my friend looks exactly like you. But just now you said you weren’t busy. Would you accompany sowhere?”

Ye Yu’s brow furrowed. She’d admitted her mistake, yet still wanted him to go along? What contradiction! Or did she simply enjoy leading strange male deities on?

“I think not. We’re strangers—it’s not appropriate. I actually do have urgent business; I must go now!”

Ye Yu’s face fell as he tried to leave, but a surge of divine power enveloped him, preventing ◆ Nоvеlіgһt ◆ (Only on Nоvеlіgһt) any escape.

Surprised, he asked, “Fellow deity, what do you an by this?”

“It’s simple—I don’t like being refused. Co with ; it won’t take long. I guarantee your safety, and I’ll reward you! For soone newly arrived in the Divine Realm, this is a trendous opportunity. No one would refuse such an offer.”

As she spoke, Han Yuexi whisked Ye Yu away at great speed toward the horizon. In her mind, she already knew his true identity: the mysterious deity she had encountered countless tis before. She had reason to enlist his aid.

Every ti she t Ye Yu and then died, she would be reborn to the prior mont—an uncanny phenonon beyond explanation. Was it a supre divine art? Or so unknown, wondrous cosmic law? Han Yuexi did not know. She only understood that seeing Ye Yu granted her another chance at life. Thus she planned to challenge that force this ti—failure would at worst return her to her previous tiline, and she could still observe how Ye Yu manipulated ti. Two gains in one gamble.

Frankly, if Ye Yu knew of her reckless sche, he would surely go mad on the spot. Who in their right mind would risk their life so carelessly? Before, death had ant a reset—but now, in reality, death was final. There was no second chance!
