The Frenzied Beasts rushing up from the mountain base grew more nurous, like zombies besieging a city, relentlessly charging upwards, and for every beast that fell, more would trample over its corpse, advancing further.

Li Xiu didn’t respond, seizing the opportunity to collect the Demon Cores and other items scattered around.
He picked only the quality Demon Cores and tossed them to the Jedi Knight and Demigod Shana, encouraging them to continuously consu the cores.
Suddenly, blue Light Flas ignited on Demigod Shana’s body; after consuming a few high-quality Demon Cores, he finally ascended to level C.
While ascending, Demigod Shana continued to battle fiercely, neither his gun nor broadsword ever pausing.
Once his ascension was complete, the power of his bullets increased, and the sword light from his broadsword beca even more intense, capable of extending over three ters in length when fully concentrated.
Li Xiu sensed Demigod Shana’s information; upon ascending to level C, he awakened a Talent Skill called "Half-Heaven Demon."

Yet, this bullet penetrated the winged beast’s chest and vanished.
The next second, blue Light Flas ignited within the beast’s body, instantly engulfing it entirely.
The winged Frenzied Beast scread, falling to the ground in agony, and soon the blue flas consud it to ash, leaving only a Demon Core behind.

Any Frenzied Beast hit by Demigod Shana’s bullets or sword light would imdiately ignite with blue Light Flas, and even if only slightly injured, the flas would rapidly spread across their body, and soon they would be reduced to ashes.
"Is Half-Heaven Demon a burning skill?" Li Xiu was slightly amazed.
Though this ability seed unremarkable, its effectiveness was extrely useful; one couldn’t fight Demigod Shana and sustain injuries without equating them to death.
Li Xiu soon realized this wasn’t the skill effect of Half-Heaven Demon; Demigod Shana’s normal attacks inherently carried this burning effect.

"This burning capability is basically a skill; how fortunate to have such a boon." Li Xiu opted against forcing Demigod Shana to use Half-Heaven Demon, since the exact nature of the skill remained unknown, and if it required ti to recharge, it might be unavailable when genuinely needed.
The number of Frenzied Beasts attracted by the Spirit-Eating Tree remained uncertain, so it wasn’t yet ti to exert full effort.
The multitude of beasts couldn’t break the mountaintop’s defenses, and seeing that the Jedi Knight and others still had strength left, Li Xiu redirected his attention to examining the Spirit-Eating Tree and the vase bearing Blood Bamboo.
The Vase Monster claid his consciousness had rged with the Spirit-Eating Tree, rendering his physical body useless.
Yet, this statent seed odd; if his physical form was truly unnecessary, why hadn’t he fully integrated his consciousness into the Spirit-Eating Tree?
Perhaps he was wary of his consciousness being too strong, wanting to disperse so of it. This, however, seed illogical.
The only reasonable explanation could be that the Vase Monster lacked the ability to entirely transfer his consciousness into the Spirit-Eating Tree, or he dreaded doing so.
The reasons likely involved the Spirit-Eating Tree or the vase and the Blood Bamboo within it.
Previously, Li Xiu attempted but struggled to destroy the Spirit-Eating Tree, so now he focused on the Blood Bamboo inside the vase.
Li Xiu wielded the Fire Lotus Sword, approaching the vase’s opening, relieved that the vase interior was spotless. He pressed one hand against the opening and used the sword in the other hand to jab inside, trying to sever the Blood Bamboo.
He stabbed repeatedly, causing clanging noises as the blade struck Blood Bamboo, yet it failed to leave any marks on the bamboo.
