"You don’t need to inquire about my identity. Didn’t I just tell you? You’ll naturally find out when the ti cos," said the Red Sand City Lord. "I’ve already said all that should and shouldn’t be said. Think it over yourself, then co find in Red Sand City."
"Alright." Li Xiu hung up the phone, still pondering the words of the Red Sand City Lord.
He’s not the Vice President, nor an Elder or the Commander. Excluding these people, it seems like only the President is left within Eternal Heaven. This made Li Xiu highly suspect that the Red Sand City Lord might be the President of Eternal Heaven.
The invitation card previously given to him by the Red Sand City Lord, even Li Qingyi ntioned it was suspicious, lacking a mark for any Commander.
According to Li Xiu’s understanding of Eternal Heaven, it is divided into five tiers: ordinary mbers, super mbers, Commanders, Vice Presidents, and the President. The identity of Elders is quite special and cannot simply be categorized into one specific position.
The fact that the Red Sand City Lord could introduce Li Xiu to the organization suggests that he is not an ordinary or super mber. However, Li Xiu denied the identities of the Commanders, Vice Presidents, and Elders, leaving only the possibility of the President.
In fact, aside from the Commander, neither the Vice Presidents nor the Elders have the authority to recruit new mbers. This is also why Li Xiu suspects that the Red Sand City Lord is the President of Eternal Heaven.
"If the Red Sand City Lord really is the President of Eternal Heaven, being invited by the President to join Eternal Heaven surely places in a high position," Li Xiu thought to himself.
He called Ah Fei over and explained in detail about him joining Eternal Heaven.
"I’ll go with you," Ah Fei said.
"Don’t rush. Let go to Eternal Heaven first and understand the situation there, then you can join later. Soone has to hold the fort here in the City of Light; we can’t all leave at once," Li Xiu said while handing a card to Ah Fei. "Keep the money on this card in case any hurdles co up in the City of Light."
After Ah Fei took the card, Li Xiu thought for a mont and added, "After all, it’s just material possession; don’t dwell too much on it. Stay alive, and everything else can be dealt with."
"Got it." Ah Fei looked at Li Xiu and said, "You’re talking like you’re making posthumous arrangents; it’s unlucky."
"Your words are the most unlucky," Li Xiu replied gloomily.
After Ah Fei left, Li Xiu went to Xin Guan’s lab, where the old official imdiately started berating him as soon as he saw him.
Li Xiu had previously asked Chu Jun to send over the Lightspeed II for repairs, and Xin Guan was so angry after inspecting it, he almost spat blood.
For others, a set of Demon Armor could last a lifeti, but for Li Xiu, a "lifeti" ant just one or two uses.
After ranting for a while and seeing Li Xiu standing silently, Xin Guan couldn’t help but stop, asking suspiciously, "Kid, what’s the matter?"
"I’ve decided to go to Eternal Heaven," Li Xiu replied.
At first, Xin Guan was startled by this statent, then frowned and contemplated for a mont before saying, "So parts of the Lightspeed II are badly damaged and hard to repair, but so components are still usable, and the core is fine. Give so ti to salvage usable parts and build you a new set of Demon Armor."
"Continue working on the Demon Armor, and I’ll use it when I return," Li Xiu had no plans to bring the Demon Armor to Eternal Heaven.
"Makes sense; if sothing goes wrong in Eternal Heaven, even the strongest Demon Armor can’t get you out," Xin Guan chuckled. "Once you’re there, check out the Demon Armor team for ; see what those bastards have developed."
"Once I go to Eternal Heaven, please keep an eye on the Ye siblings for ," Li Xiu pondered.
Li Xiu wasn’t too worried about the others; they each had their ways to survive, and even without the City of Light, they had other paths.
However, the Ye siblings didn’t have as many options. If the City of Light were truly gone, their lives might not be easy.
Their abilities weren’t sufficient to establish themselves independently yet possessed things that tempted others, making it easy for them to be manipulated.
"Don’t worry; I’ll keep an eye on them. That girl Ye Xiyuan has great talent. While you’re away, she’ll help test the Demon Armor; how could I possibly let anything happen to her?" Xin Guan chuckled.
After leaving the lab, Li Xiu went to see Qin Shi and inford her that he would be leaving the City of Light for a while, assuring her that her issues seed thoroughly resolved and that he could give her a ride back to Tyrone City if she wished.
"Are you that eager to kick out?" Qin Shi said with so annoyance.
"What? Will you miss ?" Li Xiu teased.
Qin Shi’s cheeks flushed slightly, "What nonsense are you saying? I just think there’s more opportunity for fortunes here in the City of Light than in Tyrone City, so I wanted to stay and earn more."
"Once your contract with Tyrone City is up, you’re welco here anyti. Things with Kun Sha have gone quite badly; help him out," Li Xiu remarked.
"Of course, I’ll adhere to my contract. Do you really need to tell that?" Qin Shi rolled her eyes at Li Xiu.
"Wait for to co back. Once I’m back, if there’s a chance, I’ll take you to the Trial Ground to enhance your physical abilities. Even for a Magic Armor Master, becoming a Trial Taker has no drawbacks," Li Xiu smiled.
"The deal’s settled then, and you’ll have to personally take into the Trial Ground," Qin Shi said, blinking her eyes.
"Of course, I’ll personally escort you into the Trial Ground. For an outstanding Magic Armor Master like you, if anything happened to you, I’d cry my eyes out," Li Xiu said.
"Isn’t that a bit of an exaggeration?" Qin Shi laughed.
