"Alright, then take it off," A Fei said seriously.
"Cough, no need to take things so literally!" Li Xiu felt a bit awkward, his mouth was tough but he was a little cowardly at heart.
"A man’s words cannot be trusted," A Fei mused.
Li Xiu couldn’t help but laugh bitterly, "Forget it, I’ll take you to Old Guan first for a check-up to see if there are any other issues. Space City seems to have developed sothing unexpected; we can’t be careless."
...
Rakshasa staggered through the forest, unable to retrieve her severed hands. She hadn’t brought any dicine, only roughly bandaging the wounds, which were still oozing blood, making her look increasingly pale.
"Rakshasa, why are you in such a sorry state? Didn’t I tell you not to go head-to-head with Li Xiu? That guy is not to be ssed with. If he’s truly the Red Flower Wolf, even with a new type of magic armor, you might not be his match," Asura jumped down from a big tree, standing in front of Rakshasa.
"He is indeed the Red Flower Wolf, but he didn’t use the demon armor," Rakshasa said, suppressing the intense pain from her wounds, her lips trembling.
"Didn’t use the demon armor? Then who injured you like this? Could he have so masters from the Longevity Heaven protecting him?" Asura frowned.
"There were no masters from Longevity Heaven; it was him who cut off my hands," Rakshasa recounted the incident.
"Li Xiu has transcended to Super Spirit? In such a short ti?" Asura said with interest, "No wonder he is a top-notch genius, unbeatable even without using the magic armor."
"Do you still have ti for this; shouldn’t you be healing my wounds?" Rakshasa said angrily.
"No rush, losing both hands won’t kill you," Asura picked up Rakshasa, glanced towards the City of Light, and said, "Now that we know Li Xiu is the Red Flower Wolf, our mission is completed. We can head back."
"Wasn’t our mission to kill Li Xiu?" Rakshasa frowned upon hearing this.
"If he were just Li Xiu, then our mission would be to kill him. But he’s not just Li Xiu; he’s also the Red Flower Wolf, so our mission is less complicated." Asura laughed, "The City Lord knows we can’t kill the Red Flower Wolf, just confirming his identity is enough."
"Why is the City Lord so sure we can’t kill the Red Flower Wolf? If he hadn’t reached Super Spirit Level, how hard could it be to kill him?" Rakshasa was still sowhat unconvinced.
"There’s no such thing as ’ifs’ in this world," Asura said, taking off towards the city. Rakshasa’s wounds needed prompt treatnt, or she’d risk not making it back to Space City alive.
Li Xiu brought A Fei to Xin Guan’s laboratory and handed over the dismantled magic armor and the items extracted from A Fei’s body to Xin Guan.
Xin Guan used instrunts to inspect those items first, and then perford a thorough examination on A Fei.
The X-ray images showed that there was nothing else inside A Fei’s body.
"Those guys in Space City are quite capable for having developed remotely controllable magic armor components. The pair of scimitars and that beetle are similar in concept to your Light-Speed Spear, though the beetle is equipped with an intelligent control system. How this intelligent control system works still needs further research," Xin Guan said.
"The materials for this magic armor, they’re not of a Super Spirit Level, are they?" Li Xiu asked.
"No, it’s a composite material, likely made by combining certain demon spirit materials with so raw materials from Earth. Analyzing the specific components will take ti. Such composite materials are particularly troubleso; knowing the components alone is not sufficient. One must also study the manufacturing process and solve equipnt problems, which is even more cumberso than sourcing raw materials," Xin Guan said as he examined the Rakshasa Demon Armor components. "The core energy system of this magic armor is also intriguing; it uses a cluster of S-Class Demon Cores to form an energy furnace instead of a Super Spirit Level Demon Core."
"How does that differ from a Multi-core Magic Armor?" Li Xiu asked.
"It’s very different. Multi-core Magic Armor gathers energies from different sources that require the wearer to balance and integrate manually, resulting in significant losses. Poor coordination can lead to energy conflicts, which is why normal Magic Armor Masters find it difficult to control Multi-core Magic Armors.
"But the energy furnace developed by Space City processes the multiple energies from demon cores first, turning it into a singular and pure light energy, which is much easier to control than a multi-core solution," Xin Guan pondered. "The challenge with this technology isn’t about the number of demon cores but about the design of the energy furnace that processes and channels energy. Whoever invented this is really quite capable."
Li Xiu had never heard Old Guan praise other magic armor designers before, indicating that whoever created this device was indeed extraordinary.
"Can it be replicated?" Li Xiu asked.
This device is more effective than Multi-core Magic Armor. If this technology could be brought back to Longevity Heaven, it could quickly lead to the formation of Super Spirit level troops among the Magic Armor Masters, significantly boosting both their combat capability and status.
"We’ll have to research to see if it’s replicable; fortunately, the energy furnace on the magic armor you brought back is intact. Once I examine it, if there’s no special material constraints, it should be relatively easy to replicate."
Xin Guan scoffed and continued, "With your standard, you don’t really need such a device. You can simply use Super Spirit Level materials to make magic armor."
"I might not need it, but other Magic Armor Masters need this technology. I now lead the Magic Armor Masters division; they have all placed their lives in my hands, it’s only right to find a way for them to survive. In Longevity Heaven, Magic Armor Masters have it really tough. I don’t understand why they choose to join Longevity Heaven when they could easily beco revered outside. Why prefer being subservient inside?" Li Xiu said.
"Do you think they don’t wish to remain outside as revered figures? Longevity Heaven probably doesn’t grant them the chance. Training an S-Class Trial Taker requires a lot of ti and resources, but training an S-Class Magic Armor Master only needs a talented Magic Armor Master and an S-Class Magic Armor, which is much more convenient," Old Guan sneered. "Longevity Heaven wouldn’t let such cheap and useful cannon fodder go."
"That’s true," Li Xiu sighed.
"Enough of that; I’ve created a new set of magic armor for you, one that should et your satisfaction and won’t be as fragile," Old Guan said, pulling Li Xiu into the laboratory.
