"The Blind Tailor asked to tell you to watch out for soone called the God of Slaughter." Li Xiu continued his guesswork, trying to pry information out of Jiang Linglan.
Upon hearing the words God of Slaughter, Jiang Linglan's body visibly trembled, and he exclaid, "Is the God of Slaughter still alive? That's impossible! Where is he?"
"I don't know, I'm just passing a ssage. I don't even know who the God of Slaughter is." Li Xiu saw that Jiang Linglan actually knew the God of Slaughter, and hurriedly asked, "Who exactly is this God of Slaughter? Why do both Old Man Wu and the Blind Tailor seem so afraid of him?"
Now completely convinced by Li Xiu, Jiang Linglan sighed, "He is soone who should already be dead."

Jiang Linglan asked a few tis, seemingly unable to figure out where the City of Love might be, and pondered aloud, "Apart from them, have you seen anyone else in the City of Love?"
"There are many people in the City of Love; who are you referring to?" Li Xiu countered.
"Is there a very flirtatious woman who likes to drink?" Jiang Linglan thought for a mont and asked.
"The woman you're talking about, does she have long, wavy hair..." Li Xiu described the woman who owned the tavern.
"So it's her, that slut is there too." Jiang Linglan, upon hearing this, seed to grit his teeth a bit.
Jiang Linglan asked about a few more people, and Li Xiu had indeed seen them all in the City of Love.
Li Xiu wanted to ask Jiang Linglan so questions, but each ti he was interrupted by Jiang Linglan, who had no intention of answering, leaving Li Xiu a bit frustrated.
"I've delivered the ssage. If there's nothing else, I'll be going." Seeing that he couldn't get any more answers, Li Xiu was eager to leave.
Jiang Linglan pondered for a mont and said to Li Xiu, "I didn't expect Wu Xinglie and Zhang Ping to still think of . Please deliver a ssage for as well."

"Alright, next ti I go to the City of Love, I'll be sure to deliver your ssage. I'll take my leave now." Li Xiu said, ready to leave.
"Wait." Jiang Linglan called out to Li Xiu again.
Li Xiu turned around to look at Jiang Linglan, feeling a bit uneasy, fearing Jiang Linglan had discovered sothing amiss.
This was soone who could command the Jade Demon King as a pet. If she really noticed sothing, his life might end there.
Jiang Linglan said, "Co up here first; there's sothing I need you to take to them."
Li Xiu wasn't afraid that Jiang Linglan would set a trap in the tower; if she wanted to kill him, it wouldn't need to be so complicated.
He turned to find the entrance to the tower, but didn't find a door.
"Don't bother, there's no door here. You'll have to climb up from here." Jiang Linglan said, throwing down a thick rope from above.
Li Xiu grabbed the rope and started climbing, suddenly recalling a fairy tale he had heard as a child.
It was said that a long-haired princess was imprisoned in a tall tower. When a prince ca to the tower, she would let down her hair, allowing him to climb up to et her.
Unfortunately, Li Xiu was climbing a rope, not hair, and the person at the top of the tower wasn't a princess, but perhaps the old fla of the Longevity Association's leader.
In no ti, Li Xiu climbed up to the balcony of the tower, standing beside Jiang Linglan.
"Follow ." Jiang Linglan turned and walked into the tower.
Li Xiu followed her into the tower, noticing how simply it was furnished; the bed and chairs were carved from jade, and it seed the tower contained nothing but jade.
Li Xiu took a look around, finding that not everything was made of jade. There was a painting on the wall that wasn't jade but a traditional ink painting. It depicted this jade tower and Jiang Linglan, with just a few brush strokes, not capturing Jiang Linglan's likeness but still making it clear it was her, with a certain artistic touch.
Jiang Linglan descended the stairs, and Li Xiu quickly followed. The spiral staircase felt endless.
Thankfully, it was only an illusion. After descending about ten floors, the stairs finally ended.
Li Xiu imdiately saw the bottom of the tower, which turned out to be entirely a fish pond.
The circular room's base was a complete fish pond, with a bridge stretching across its center, connecting the room's two ends.
Jiang Linglan stepped onto the bridge, and Li Xiu followed. The bridge itself was made of jade, and the ropes at both ends were a kind of crystal thread, like fishing line twisted together.
